I didn't stay at the hotel, I just spent a few hours in the lobby for event registration for Penny Arcade Expo.
I probably shouldn't admit it, but I was prepared to move in to the public restroom. All jokes aside, the place was quiet, spotless, and well laid out.
If I had the budget, I would definitely stay here more often.
Awesome location right next to the Pike Place Market and a bunch of popular downtown spots!
Very nice hotel with plenty of amenities and close to so many location downtown.
good service, bell staff not good they where actually hiding not to help with the luggage...lol but good in general, good location to.
The room is nice, and I like the powered "black out" shades on the windows. There's both a tub and an independent stand up shower, which is nice. They don't supply coffee in the room, but there's a big list of items they will supply if requested. For a 5 star hotel, it would be nice if many of those items were in the room without needing to call and request them. The hotel is next to the convention center, and a short walk to Pikes Market. Even with all of these good things, the crazy high room rate is not worth it. In the end, it's just a nice hotel room.
First off, it's expensive. Don't let that deter you, though. It's worth *every penny*.
Entry to the hotel is beautiful and clean. Water is offered from the moment you walk in. Staff is friendly and smiling. Even when you can tell they are tired from a long day, you can tell hospitality is their passion.
Spent a great evening in the hotel, but some of the guests (as happens in the city) were quite rambunctious. This doesn't condibe the review, it just added to the experience.
Quiet, great views, fast service, so many positives I can't quite settle on just a few. It's a great venue. The only place I'll willingly return to.
Awesome corner suits very competively priced. My suit was cheaper or only 10 dollars more a night compared to other hotels deluxe rooms. Beautiful big bathroom with very nice tub and shower. A toilet phone for all your important business call needs. Two tvs, nice living room tv. Both have a HDMI import for entertainment needs. Only complaint is the way you connect to their wifi makes it a problem when trying to connect a gaming console. Threw others means I personally was able to find solution. But, may be hard for the typical person. Overall a great place to stay.
I love this place, especially at the holidays. I come and stay every year in December. Great service and clean comfortable lovely rooms with great downtown views. I especially appreciate the valet staff, they are very attentive and courteous
Earlier today we experienced the fastest checkin process in the history of time. Michael was speedy and super friendly. The team running the valet and luggage service were fun and very helpful. We were game to push our own cart up but they said no way - and the man who helped us to our rooms explained the curtains and pointed out stuff in the room. It was all nice and helpful and formal but not stiff. Just friendly and accomadating!
I stayed here three nights while on a business trip. The central downtown location was convenient, and the room was in good shape overall, but I'm dinging them two stars because: 1) The grout in the shower had a bunch of gross black mold and 2) The bed wasn't made properly (bottom sheet wasn't pulled down enough, leaving the bottom foot of the mattress uncovered).
Great room and large bathroom. Convenient location.
Great dinner at Ruth Chris in the Hyatt lobby. Steak was perfect, and also relatively affordable with their classic special. Super convenient for dinner before a show at the Paramount, as well.
Very spacious good quality room (we had a toddler with us and managed to put a playpen up in the entry way), luxurious bathroom with seperate tub & shower, good but very firm mattress (we have a Casper mattress at home - this was a stark contrast), city & obstructed water view all very nice, wonderful staff - the concierge sent our little one a plate of milk and cookies. Parking is pricey but that's average for downtown Seattle. We used the self parking option in a public lot (the same one is used for Valet service) and saved $20/day. The room was quite expensive to me at $350/night but that seems to be the going rate and there are great benefits to being right downtown: walk wherever whenever and no parking once you get there, it's a short walk to most attractions and Ubers are easy to find if you can't make it.
Scored a great room through priceline. They even upgraded us to a nicer room on one of the top floors.
A friendly front desk person spontaneously upgraded me to a suite, which was spacious and luxurious. Location is great - convenient for downtown and public transit. Price was very reasonable.
One of the best Seattle downtown hotels, quiet rooms, awesome service, choice of valet and self parking, easy access to the conference center.
This is one of my favorite places to stay when visiting Seattle. The customer service is fantastic and the location is conveniently within walking distance to everything.
Quiet lobby. Was there for a meeting. Very pleasant.
What a great place to stay! Beautiful accommodations! Great amenities!
Love staying here. Highly recommend the club level!
Clean and modern appearance with expansive conference rooms.
Nice location. Nice Staff. Not quite as luxurious as I would expect from a Grand Hyatt, however it was a pleasant stay.
Hotel was imaculate. Rooms are a good size and many we had a view, we were on floor 19 and could look out on the city. The hotel takes care to make your stay comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with many basic toiletries, including a couple pairs of simple slippers. The rooms have a live bamboo plant and a doorbell. Also, each room has a large bath and separate shower. I was impressed.
Best hotel in Seattle for me. Also top fitness room.
Staff did everything they could to make our stay exceptional, we will most definitely be back!
What a great hotel. It's centrally located in downtown Seattle. It has nicely appointed rooms and the staff is very friendly. My only complaint would be the cost of parking but that seems to be a cost one can no longer avoid.
Luxury delivers. The location is excellent for night life, sightseeing, or eating. The rooms are well attended and comfortable. I'd stay here again, no question.
Great front desk service, great location and beautiful rooms
Beautiful entryway! Friendly staff and comfortable stay!
Love staying at their chains. The entire stay was 5-stars.
Perfection besides the two doormen/luggage men that worked inside. One was a short Indian and the other a talk white man. They had perfected ruining people's says.simply with there presence
It was kind of expensive for the amount of food you got.
Attended for a professional event. The staff were on point and amazingly personable. I didn't start the night but the service provided was top notch. The building was really clean and I have zero complaints!
Perfect location, great price for such an upscale hotel. Everything was clean and fresh, the staff was kind and helpful.
Very friendly service. Lots of food close by and 10 min walk to Pike's market. Across the street from convention center so very convenient
Location is great, easy access to the rest of downtown Seattle. Rooms are nice and big
Very nice room, pleasant view of the city along with a large bath and a glass shower. Extensive room service options.
Grand Hyatt is a high end hotel but you guys have a very poor customer service at the drive way he is Asian didn't get a chance to catch his name he gives a poor service he yield at me. Please get rid of him grand Hyatt management.
Like the hotel, but thought the staff could have been a little more accommodating when we inquired about switching rooms
Spent almost a week here for a work conference. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Every staff member I spoke with was friendly and helpful.
NYC deli is attached with an entrance from the hotel. Staff there was also great and it was really convenient having access to a deli without having to leave the hotel.
Gym had plenty of equipment to get in a good workout. I would like to have had heavier free weights but the handful of machines were plenty heavy to do what you need.
I ve nothing but great things to say about this very nice hotel.
Dinner at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Kitchen got our order wrong twice! Server was great but food was only above average, and for $250 for two diners, I expect more than above average, I expect it to be superb.
We had a room on the 26th floor overlooking the opposite side from the Seattle center. It was not the most inspiring view but was better than looking at it from the 2nd level! The rest of our experience at the hotel was stellar - attentive and helpful staff. We had access to the 27th floor lounge as well and it was a very nice perk. I liked the breakfast served in the lounge that was included in the room charge. Room was very spacious and we'll maintained. Great bathroom and we used the soaking tub too.
Excellent room, clean and with good room service. Spacious bathroom that included full size tub. I used the Hyatt app to check in and check out, plus get some extra amenities like a water boiler with quick service from staff. Good central location a short walk from public transportation and many sights + restaurants.
Perfect location and beautiful room with a great view.
Stopped in for appetizers and drinks at Ruth's Chris at the hotel. As always, the food and service was excellent. The area is set up well for food/drink/conversation.
That is a 5-stars Hyatt, so do you know what to expect. Friendly staff and awesome location.
Location is very convenient, I love the new modern renovations and the games around the lobby/lounge! The bar tenders and front desk where more than accommodating! Seattle
The hotel was good. The lights in my room were not working but the guys there fixed it the next day. The elevators looked a bit worn down.
Staying in a corner suite. The room is quiet and nice, but a little "old" feeling in the furnishings. Sofa is not very comfortable to sit on but the bed is very comfortable. The TV interface is slow and awkward to use and offers very few channels (basic cable, the networks and starz). Staff is friendly and attentive from what little interaction we've had.
Attended a work event at this location. The catered lunch was awesome.
Good facility to host our professional conference. Staffs were very professional and helpful.
Really nice environment. No loud noises at all when staying in the rooms. The price was pretty reasonable as well. Rooms were big and comfortable. Location is really close to the convention center and walking distance from several restaurants.
Clean, modern, updated, wonderful staff. Easy to get in and out of. Quiet.
Great room and location for ECCC. Can't beat the price when split with a group
The front desk staff was amazing. The valet service was quick and polite. Just got married and they sent a complimentary bottle of wine and truffles. Thanks Regina. Great place to stay.
Beautiful hotel with a great view of the city! The room was so luxurious and all of the staff was so kind.
No frills place. Plain clean rooms with just enough amenities for business.
Great place! Rooms are beautiful! Gym and Spa area are great places to check out! Views are amazing!! Only downside is that walls are thin and in room dining is quite pricy.
Great location. Hotel is clean and friendly. Bathroom is spacious and bed is super comfy. Starbucks conveniently located downstairs.
Sunshine (a beautiful young lady) checked me in fast and efficiently. Rooms are a good size, bit of street noise from cars and a well specked fitness suite.
It was a great price for a great hotel room. All the basic as well as a few upgraded amenities for a regular priced room, will definitely be a guest again
Amazing view, fantastic service, loved the amenities and the location, would highly recommend.
Friendly and very courteous staff! My husband and I highly recommend this home-away-from-home.
Great location to explore Seattle from. Starbucks connected into the lobby and a sushi place.
Great service and geest rooms. Just minutes from everything.
