The onlyn thing i did not like was the staff at the snack Bar was rather rude i couldn't find the blue berry muffins for my kid and when i ask them they would point and say its over their instead of assisting helping me find it which would've took less then 2 secs and when i tried too get their attention to tell them i only see banana nut they would ignore me and keep helping other customers like i didn't matter and the manager was on the phone not paying me any attention after i already purchased the muffin with out seeing what i purchased and i couldn't find where it was and eventually i just told them if you can't help assist me i will just get my money back and then she finally helped me.

Nice hotel, great staff. Little things were off that could have made it 5 star, like the number of glasses, towels, etc could have matched the number of guests instead of us having to call for more. Pretty crazy expensive.

Very enjoyable stay! The rooms don't get as cold as I would like, but everything else was great! I really enjoyed the bar and the food there. Chicken tacos were tasty! Whiskey peach tea was good too! The scenery and atrium made for a good experience for this fledgling traveller!

Perfect stay!! The hotel is new, clean, huge, and we got a great deal! Stayed 2 nights and was not dissapointed. Stayed on the weekend thinking it would be packed but they still upgraded us to top floor for a beautiful view no questions asked ! All service was great. Bar was jumping at 1am and my german bartender was a complete babe. Nice and tentative ! Shout out to the grand hyatt. Keep it going fellas.

I frequently stay at Hyatt properties when I travel for work and it's always a pleasure to stay at a Grand Hyatt. This one in San Antonio is no exception. The property is basically a part of the convention center so if you're coming into town for that you can't get closer. The Riverwalk is also very close. You can access it directly from the Ruth Chris steakhouse on the lower level but it's a long walk to get to the heart of the Riverwalk from there. It's better to just take the short walk on street level.

The rooms are spacious and not overly so. You don't feel confined but you also don't feel like there is a lot of empty space with no use. The beds are incredibly comfortable with lots of pillows as well. Basic amenities are great and I didnt notice any signs of wear and tear in the room I had.

I didnt get to eat at the hotel because of other obligations so I can't speak to any of their dining options, although there are many with wide variety.

The staff is very helpful and pleasent from the front desk, to the housekeeping, to the doorman. It's a great property and I highly recommend it.

Grand Hyatt had been excellent. The staff is very helpful and polite. Rooms are what you would expect, by perhaps just a little small. Comfortable needs however, and they offer anything you could every need.

Had a great stay, my room was clean. My window was clean, it says a lot about a business when they keep their windows and glass doors cleaned. I slept with my window open and had an awesome view all night long, I felt as if I was staring at a painting on the wall. LOL, my sisters had a room cross the hall (over the pool view) and their window was not to clean and the view wasn't the greatest.

Did not stay in a room but had a 3 day conference there. The hotel was always clean and the staff were prompt at taking away dirty dishes and trash. Never had a problem. My only complaint was how exoensive the gift shop is

We made our reservation months ahead of time. Upon arrival we notice that self parking was paid... not only were we spending 200.00 a night but we were never told we had to pay for parking at @ $31 a night on top of that. Rooms were ok, could be more spacious and amenities like free breakfast or something since it was so expensive. Pool area and gym and great and location to river walk was perfect. We moved our car to the parking garage across the street and only paid $10 a night. Hotel staff wasn t as helpful as they should be in this type of hotel, bar area was horrendous. Waiting for a drink took forever and the prices are outrageous. 1 margarita and 1 crown and coke was $25.00. I expected way more for my money but I know next time to rent a vacation home.

The hotel is large and directly next to the convention center, which can be convenient. The lobby almost has a Vegas hotel feel to it, and the rooms are nice and reasonably priced. Also, no problems with hotel service.

Excellent service. Beautiful facilities. I asked for a crib. The crib came with an actual crib sheet and a baby sized blanket, as well as baby shampoo, lotion and baby powder. The crib was in the room when we arrived and I was able to put my little one down for a nap immediately. It was such a relief after a long day of traveling. The front desk service is top notch. Facilities are gorgeous. Views are amazing. A great hotel.
In case you're not familiar with normal crib service in a hotel, they usually just give you bed sheets, which is NOT what you want in a crib with a baby.

Location is key, and this place has it. For a large establishment it felt very private and personal. Rooms are top notch and pricing is very affordable for anyone wanting to visit the Riverwalk

The entire hotel smells like a cleaner fragrance. After about an hour it starts to hurt your nose and give you a headache. Over night it gives you a sore throat.

The smell comes out of the HVAC vents, even when the system is off. We had to literally tape a plastic bag over the vents to help reduce the smell.

Calls to the front desk and talking with the cleaning staff didn t help. They suggested a small desk fan, which didn t help at all.

Bathrooms are outdated.

Valet is over $40 per night. Self park is $37. I think the valet park is near a dumpster, because every morning our car had a bad smell during our stay here - didn t happen at any other hotel on our trip.

Great hotel with access to the fun and scenic Riverwalk, a Ruth Chris Steak House and nice/comfy rooms! Someone else's review mentioned small TVs and I agree, but wasn't an issue for us because we were out and about for the whole trip.

I visited for lunch at Ruth Chris steak House which is on the lower level of the hotel. The valet was prompt and professional and the part of the lobby of the hotel that I was able to see was well appointed.

Room was tiny, like a dorm room. Shower had no water pressure. The t.v. is big but their cable was constantly losing signal. No continental breakfast for 230 a night(usually 300). Do yourself a favor and stay at embassy suites right down the road for half the price, a huge room, and the most beautiful lobby I've ever seen. This Is A Horrible Hotel!

Clean hotel, great location, but... no parking and they do charge for parking $31. Also I had to call in multiple times for them adjust my bill because they over charged me. So that s why it s 3 stars.

Had a great time at this hotel. Great staff that is willing to work with you and help you out. Located right on the Riverwalk, everything is right within walking distance. Everything was clean and neat. Enjoyed my stay in the hotel as well as the conference rooms that I met in.
