Location is great and if you have a car you can park it in the train station parking for roughly 20 francs per overnight (depends on what hours of the day you park it at).

I am a member of the M family, so I got an upgrade. The lake view room has nothing to say. The breakfast is also reasonable (the free one is incense). The staff service is competent, and because of the difference between Swiss standard and European standard plugs, I borrowed a conversion plug. Comfortable experience.

We have a group of 12 people staying in Majestic as recommended by travel agency.
I must say I rate Hotel Accommodation a 5-Star experience, efficient and helpful front office team, nice room with great views and all you can expect about an elegant European hospitality.

However, I want to rate the restaurant L45 a 1-Star experience. Appetizer and first course was great, but the main course rib streak was dry and over cooked, more than well done. More than half of the group members couldn't even chew that so left a big portion wasted. I forwarded the problem with Restaurant manager but I got only an arrogant response "Yes it's overcooked" and he left to serve other tables. It was totally not an hospitality at all and deserved the reputation of this restaurant. I have to wait for almost another half an hour to get the response from restaurant manager again and I tried to pursue an explanation to all my guests. He refused at beginning but later agreed to offer complimentary Cognac or Whisky as compensation. However these guests couldn't have alcohol so at the end Free sorbet as extra desserts for compensation.

Few days later, another group had dinner and they even had a worse response from the restaurant manager.

Despite great view, great location, not bad food, if this is the way service experience for any diners, that's totally ruining the reputation of World famous Swiss hospitality!

Beautiful hotel. Conveniently located across from the SBB. Rooms on high floors with balcony and gorgeous lake views. I d absolutely stay here again!

Bar can be improved (little stock and barely flexible bartenders). Beautiful view, also from the rooms if lake side. View of the train station even if the decoration is in good taste.

This was a great hotel, even if I stayed for a night. The staff treated my wife and I with the utmost hospitality. We enjoyed the space of the room and the balcony was an added bonus. We also enjoyed the thick hot chocolate that was served in the bar area. I assumed this was how all hot chocolate was served in Suisse however I learned this was more of the Italian way to drink hot chocolate. Either way, this hotel is worth the stay

Beautiful hotel with great location in Montreux. Recently renovated but keeping the soul of the building. Views from the restaurant or the bar terrace are amazing. Loved our executive suite with lake view.

Very nice hotel only yards from the lake shore. Get a lake view room. Breakfast buffet was fine. I'd have given it five stars but the air con in the public areas triggered my hayfever for some reason.

Amazing views from the restaurant and terraces. No where else near the lake in Montreux has anything to compare. The food is excellently prepared while the staff look after you like a friend.

The rooms tend to be a little on the small size. They are modern and all of them have air conditioning. My bathroom was nearly the same size as the bedroom.

The hotel is very convenient for both the train and boat station.

There is now no direct access to the lake from the hotel which is unfortunate. Some very long steep steps must be negotiated to get to the lake waterfront and promenade.

Too bad the terrace opens from 3 p.m. on Sunday and in the afternoon we can eat nothing with the kitchen closed

Pretty nice hotel, very large clean rooms facing Lake Geneva, no doorman to take bags or valet to park cars, we had to unload all our own bags and then drive down the street to a parking garage.

Montreux is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The hotel was quiet, clean, and had great staff and a quality restaurant

The hotel is very close to Transfortasi, so it is very easy to walk to the city

The hotel is located in a strategic and central position, a few steps from the station and a short walk from the station. The rooms are nice large and well kept and the view is exceptional, directly on Lake Geneva. Breakfast quite varied and of quality

Very nice hotel and friendly and helpful reception staff. We enjoyed three nights here for a business trip in early November. Great location close to Lake Geneva, restaurants and train. Enjoyed the scenery, sights and train access to many activities. Nice sauna that nobody seemed to use. Annoying defective electric light buzzing in room and not allowing us to sit in overlook area of Lake since we did not want a cocktail kept it from five star rating.

I love this place. Less upscale palaces but a serene atmosphere and a breathtaking view from the terrace.

Perfect and very pretty the view of the lake but there is no parking space

The service is really to review! At the entrance the concierge yells at you to greet you, the service is rather slow and not very reactive. For the price it's really limited. Just handy because next to the station when you have less than an hour to kill.

Once the lake view is done. The interiors also make you feel like you are in the Mediterranean, and the service is friendly. Air conditioner is fully equipped, and it is in front of station and traffic is very convenient, too.

Friendly staff, fast check-in. Beautifully appointed room with fluffy robes and slippers provided. L'Occitaine products in generous amounts. Sparkling clean. Dreamy view of the lake and mountains from the balcony. I would have liked a tea kettle.

Thanks to the friendly staff, I am delighted to stay! I love Lake View on the 7th floor! It is not a sparrow in the morning, but tweets? It sits on the balcony and it sings a song ^^ It is near to the station at all! Because bus stop and restaurant are all near,

Waiting time unworthy of an establishment of this level (40 minutes for 3 cocktails and a coke at the bar). Second negative experience, I give up.

The hotel and hospitality was great! I particularly liked the view of Lake Geneva from the charming little balcony of our room as well as from the restaurant.
I find it unfortunate that the establishment does not offer a real SPA corner (just a hammam and sauna) and that there is no parking service for hotel guests (CHF 33.- parking for one night ).
Also, we ate at the hotel restaurant in the evening. It took us 45 minutes to get our dish because our order was completely forgotten. I find it a long wait time for this type of restaurant.
The really good thing about this hotel is the amazing view of the lake.

Excellent location! A very easy access to public transport and to the promenade. Nice views. The building looks impressive.
Staff is friendly but sometimes service is a bit slow. I think this applies to most of the places in Switzerland though, so not a big problem.
The rooms are clean and very well equipped. The washing stuff is L'occitane and it had been topped up regularly (unlike some other hotels).
I'd only recommend that more pillows should be supplied as there is one pillow per person and it is quite soft.

Nice and classy hotel. Excellent view from the breakfast room. Staff at reception area are friendly. We arrive early and they managed to give us the rooms.

Every year again, super nice and pleasant! The food is not as great as the hotel, but good.
