Unique location with breathtaking view over Lake Geneva
The hardware equipment part of the hotel is very good. For a 4-star hotel, it is indeed of a considerable standard. The location of the hotel is also quite good. It faces Montreux Gare, and when you go down the stairs next to the hotel you will directly face Lake Geneva. Most of the rooms can also directly see the lakeshore scenery, which is quite enjoyable, but the training of personnel may need to be improved. As a person who stayed for 5 nights, the results seen when returning to the hotel room every day are different , Sometimes the restrooms are placed in different locations, sometimes the equipment is not changed, and sometimes even the towels are forgotten. As for the restaurant, the view can be said to be quite beautiful, especially when the weather is good, the sunset view is very pleasant; and in terms of personnel quality, most of the staff have very good attitudes, but some have very bad attitudes. Both me and other table guests are quite despised and ruined the entire dining experience. Hope to improve.
We were on the subject of work in the country and one of our partners suggested us to have a beer in the afternoon on the terrace and we were already having dinner. A spectacular site, elegant, with incredible lake views, very friendly staff and the food we loved. Without a doubt, highly recommended

Beautiful views over Lake Geneva and so convenient for the railway station. It was very misty /foggy/raining when we stayed but the restaurant has wonderful views across the lake. This is our second stay and I can highly recommend.

It was a nice surprise! Terrace with a beautiful view, very friendly staff and charming restaurant with very nice menu for Sunday family. Unfortunately due to the heat we did not have much appetite but we will be back!
The hotel is beautiful and the terrace has a wonderful view. Unfortunately we have had a bad experience with the service and there was no excuse for the complaint - not even when checking out through the reception. Overall, therefore, disappointing.

Service and food are exactly what one expects of a first class restaurant. As to that a nice choice of veggie dishes, a beautiful sunny day, and a fantastic view of the Lake and there's no room for complaints. The recent remodel is much more open and spacious than before. I'll be back!

What a luxurious hotel! Probably the nicest on our 2 week Europe trip. Room was ultra modern, spotless and clean, VERY spacious with a large bathroom and sitting area. Across from train station and in the heart of food/shopping. We would absolutely stay here again. I talked to three different staff members at check-in desk and each were very nice and seemed to care about my satisfaction. Good value for $, since Switzerland is expensive.
The location of the hotel is amazing, two steps away from the train station and close to all tourist spots.

Disastrous experience. I booked a deluxe lake view room, ended up in room 612, certainly the smallest I've seen in a 4-star hotel. The only thing that corresponded to what the official website showed me during the reservation was the view of the lake. Shameful!!! To point out my disappointment by mentioning that we were there for my wife's birthday did not trigger any reaction or commercial gesture. Basically we are Swiss so we are given the rotten rooms. 1st time, last time and I will not fail to make them the ad they deserve!

This hotel is beautiful, the staff was great, and the location was amazing. The hotel is located across the street from the train station and on the other side of the hotel sits the beautiful lake Geneva. The hotel has a fabulous patio that overlooks the park, lake Geneva, and the Alps with a breathtaking view of the sunset. I would highly recommend this hotel and location if you are in the area!
The hotel was in a very good location and just across the street from a train station. Room was an average size but big enough for two people. We were on the 7th floor and our room had a small balcony with a view on the Lake Geneva. Daily breakfast buffet had a variety of choices and food was fresh and tasty. We would definitely stay again.

Absolutely one of my top vacations. But, the bathroom was tight and I could have used more pillows on the bed. The hotel is in a prime location. It is clean and the staff was amazing. The lobby and restaurant areas are beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel. GET A BALCONY ROOM!
The best place to stay in Monteux without a doubt.
Perfectly located, the view of the lake Geneva and the Alps is breathtaking. Rooms are updated. Breakfast is reasonably priced, was $60 for two people bufet. They even give you ticket that gets you free train rides and half of to museums like Chaplin world and Chateu de Chillon. Was very pleased, being picky about hotels. Wil definitely stay there again.
A wonderful hotel in a perfect location. Right opposite the railway station so very easy to get to and user as a base for visiting other places. The coffee if the lake from the balcony is breathtaking. Your get the same view from breakfast to which is also delicious and fresh. Service is excitement and there's a spa on the top floor too. Couldn't ask for more!

We had celebrated birthday of friend and coincidentally Swiss Confederation Day. Breathtaking view with fireworks organized by Montreux authorities. Bravo! As for hotel, I can t say anything about the rooms, as never been there. However the restaurant and the bar area have a breathtaking view on the lake.

Nice historic hotel. We had a town view room which was perfectly adequate, but I suspect the lake view rooms are worth the little bit extra.
Great hotel with beautiful scenic lake view. Conveniently located across the street from the train station making it a great central location for our familie to visit the areas nearby. Hotel desk staff friendly, courteous and helpful.
WiFi is very spotty indoors but probably just setup wrong as they have plenty of hotspot routers in the hallways. Food in the restaurant was good but prepare for a two hour meal due to slow or not enough wait staff. Watch out for bird droppings on many of the restaurant chairs and tables. Otherwise an elegant establishment.
Excellent location close to the Central Station and nice clean rooms. The hotel is old but quite recently renovated. The staff was friendly and helpful. One thing surprised me a lot though. When I arrived at the room I found one bottle of wine in the minibar already opened. Even though I was of course not charged for the bottle, it was irritating to have to spend time and energy on the matter.
Always an excellent address. A magnificent cigar smoker. A view of Lake Geneva that is worthwhile. A good address.

We very much enjoyed our stay and were very happy to receive an upgrade to an Executive Junior Suite, one of the loveliest rooms we have stayed in. The view of Lake Geneva from our balcony was stunning. Our room was spotless, very well furnished and with excellent amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Spent 240 CHF for a partial lake view and could only see trees. Spoke to the receptionist and she was absolutely dismissive with no care or concern.
