The hotel has a very nice view and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. Younger staff will prank you specially during breakfast. Totally unacceptable for a 5 stars hotel. The bartenders in the bar next to the reception are not the friendliest and can become quite aggressive.

The hotel is beautiful, but I've been waiting on a room for quite some time. Had a reservation. Check in is supposed to be 3pm, but because I got here early I was hoping to get in my room earlier due to a long flight. It is now after 3 and still no room. At this point can't give more than 3 stars, and should probably be less.
Update: I was finally able to check into my room sometime after 4pm after having initially arrived at 10am after a 9 hour flight. When I checked out I had been charged extra for a number of things I didn't receive, such as parking (I wasn't driving), breakfast (I never are at the hotel) and a complementary bottle of wine, which I never took because I don't drink. The wine was offered as an apology for the late check in. Everything was supposed to be removed from my bill, but I missed that the wine charge was left. Needless to say I am very unhappy about being charged for something that I didn't even receive and that was supposed to be complementary in the first place.

The largest hotel in Noordwijk. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. The views from the seaside rooms are the best in the area. Enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend the hotel.

Beautiful hotel, but the administration could be better: first they wanted to give us the wrong rooms (old part), then breakfast was charged, while this was included, to then charge an incorrect (more expensive) room rate. The result: they had to draw up a new invoice 3 times. Not neat for a 5 * hotel

Nice location, also the beach tent of house in the dune. But we were there this afternoon and there was enough space on the terrace, but because the kitchen couldn't handle it, we were not allowed to sit on the terrace. Then we sat down at the hotel on the terrace. But the service was very poor. We had to wait a long while sixth man walked into the ministry and few men sat on the terrace.

The hotel reminded me uncannily of the Overlook Hotel in Stephen Kings Shinning, which fits the year of construction. Quiet location, right on the beach, very friendly staff, professional handling, very good beds with 2 pillows! Detailed cleanliness is in need of improvement. Breakfast good.

Superb location, always impeccably dressed. At the barrier we were first barked by the doorman who thought we should read better. When we turned out to be right, the gate was opened and we could park without saying anything further or even looking at us. The hotel itself always looks great and the staff at the hotel are always very friendly. The food and drinks are always well organized and you can easily walk to the beach.

Prachtig hotel !

Place is very out of date, everything looks old, old style, no renovations, no modernizations or what so ever. Outside square is rusty and beach side, something that i quess is supposed to be called garden is not developed at all. Also the sound of the wind is so loud there, like the windows dont have the sound proof system, at all.
I dont reccomend it for those high prices that they have

What an atmosphere and ambiance. We enjoyed our stay at Huis ter duin. The dinner in la terrace was also great and the service left nothing to be desired. What was striking was that our booked charming large room was not 30m2 as described. The bathroom also deserves some attention. The toilet roll holder came off the wall and the toilet sometimes continued to run. But besides that like to come back again!

Certainly a grand hotel. A huge concrete monolith on the shore of Noordwijk that somehow reminds me of the hotel in The Shining.
Saying that, the rooms are a good size, well equipped and the food is generally well done.
