Beautiful hotel for a night to sleep and have a nice breakfast. Nice room with a sea view.

Natuurlijk een fantastische locatie en heel veel uitstraling. Ook voldoende en prettige straf.
Men is aan het renoveren en dat is ook hard nodig want de kamers zijn gedateerd geraakt zeker de natte cel is niet meer wat je vandaag verwacht.
Ontbijt was prima en diner was goed met een rare dissonant dat de hertebiefstuk bij een groot aantal mensen zo taai was (blijkbaar totaal niet bestorven) dat deze maar ter zijde is gelegd

Everything quite right. Spacious room, good bed and a luxurious ambiance. The check in was a bit chaotic, partly due to the crowds. That was a shame otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

Echt een vijfsterrenhotel. De inrichting weerspiegelt misschien iets te veel de persoonlijke smaak van de eigenaars, maar service en faciliteiten helemaal goed.

Juist ook in deze Corona tijden is het hier goed vertoeven. De regels worden keurig nageleefd, het hotel is brandschoon en er wordt creatief omgegaan met de mogelijkheden. Zo wordt het ontbijt in shifts uitgevoerd in zeer royale zalen, waar de buffetten bestaan uit individuele veilige porties. Zeer royaal en voortdurend aangevuld.

Op het royaal uitgestelde terras is het goed toeven. Aanbevolen!

Shared areas are nice. The rooms need updating, especially the bathrooms compared to van oranje

I do not think it is justified that it is a five star hotel, because the location is too densely populated and the building does not look suitable for a five star hotel.

A wonderful place to spend your holidays. We have been here twice with the whole family. The location of the hotel is great for families with children. At the back there is a direct path to the beach and you can even drive through the dunes with prams or carts. Out the front and you are at a few restaurants and shopping. Since this hotel has a private beach, you have in the high season its peace while only 100 meters further Majorca states prevail. The breakfast buffet is very versatile and really delicious. Every day I ask myself what it gives today as a small delicacy. You can pay in each restaurant of the hotel with its room number and this works also at the beach house and at the beach kiosk, so you can without cash to the beach. The hotel is very child friendly even if there is no direct game room. In the basement are table football and billiard tables and there is a small swimming pool. And what many letters here. Yes, the hotel is a bit older. It's just a very traditional house, but honestly without this substance it would not have the same charm. The plan is to stay again every year and always a little longer, until at some point the porter greets me with the ghetto sofa and the hotel manager invites me to dinner and tells a waver from the youth. In this sense.....

Married here on October 3, 2018. Was not only the most beautiful and special day of my life, but also the most beautiful and impressive wedding I have ever experienced. The guests fully agreed with that. Made possible by Huis ter Duin. Incredibly beautiful location to get married. Organizing went very smoothly. I wouldn't have wanted to get married anywhere else.

Overrated room prices and service are overpriced for the service and quality you get. Has a good reputation and great location but the actual rooms and service are not worth the price.

It is a five star hotel, rooms, view, beach etc are very nice.
Service at reception and restaurants needs improvement.
Check in and check out took 45 min, mistakes in the invoice, until today I haven't received the corrected invoice.
Choice of food questionable (a can of sardines??) but maybe that's a local touch.
Beach is beautiful and not too crowded.
Helicopter tours available.

The Classic Room (which we had booked) is definitely not worth 5 stars. In my opinion, here only on the sea view rested (if you booked the because ...). I travel a lot in hotels and have seen, among other hotels with fewer stars, in which the rooms were definitely higher quality. But even in 5 star hotels I was already, where the stars were at least justified. No constant water temperature in the shower, window handle almost falls off (you have to say it was the only one in the room, does not anyone notice?). No welcome bottle of water in the room, which you find in low star segment. Orange slice for the high-priced drink at the bar, the waiter in front of a fingers? Sauna was under renovation at the time. We were told on site at the check inn. Pool area is also getting old. Parking costs 12,50 Euro the night ... All rooms should have the same standard, if you scold 5 star hotel. Really nice, is only the view of the sea ... I will definately not recommend this hotel!

I would not book the hotel privately. For the money you get more elsewhere. The staff was very friendly and tried hard to help. The location is great. Right on the beach. Our room was not special. Great for that.

Rooms, location and facilities are very good with close proximity to the beach. However, food and service is totally appalling and that s why I am giving this hotel only a one star rating. People don t just come to enjoy the sea view and eat air, they also want to get a first class service and very high quality food especially when the food and drinks menu is priced so steeply. This place is more like a German tourist trap for the rich. It is way far from living it s reputation of a grand hotel with impeccable service and delicious food. There are other hotels in the area that cost half the price and offer better food and services. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great hotel on the beachfront. It has several restaurants with very good gastronomic offer, it is highly recommended to visit the one located on the beach. The hotel consists of two buildings, one more modern than the other, so the rooms are older or modern depending on where you stay.

Phenomenal Place to take your romantic other or the family.

Were only in restaurant: it was very pricey lunch (I personally think a bottle of water for 6.50 euros is ridiculous). Well good food and could sit outside behind glass.

Spent a weekend in the past. Not at all what we expected. Impression and price created a different impression of the hotel. After checking out it looked like they were happy that we were gone again. Can happen for us not a successful hotel. Does not just want to be negative and also really want to give a compliment to the staff !!

You do not get what you pay for! It is all clean, but very old. The staff is very friendly and hard-working, but can not compensate for the shortcomings and the exorbitant prices. The pillows are cheapest quality and the bathrooms have not been renewed for decades. Pity!

Everything neatly arranged. Good breakfast great beds and air conditioning. Location could not be better only downside is crumbled concrete here and there.
