Nothing was too much trouble very helpful reception and concierge staff excellent standard of all meals with plenty of variety
Room spacious and well equipped all our expectations were exceeded

The hotel is built on a slope, so looks different from every perspective, looks smaller than it is visually. 10 floors, the lobby (main entrance) is located on the 6th floor, looks very splendid. Our room had a side view to the sea, on the penultimate day, a tank was refilled, it was incredibly loud and smelled bad (to the bathroom)
I had a birthday in the period of our trip, no surprise on the part of the crew, even in response - nothing!
The prices at the restaurant pool and tiki bar (especially for the drinks) very expensive (6 for a strawberry smoothie-with crushed ice instead of milk) so it is saved on some corners, hopefully for the countless employees who are employed there , They are only shy in the 'Spice Restaurant' (by the boss in a suit) does not make a good impression for us. Otherwise, we liked it, you get on request adapters for the British sockets. Walk to bus connection about 15min. We really liked the hotel's own "beach" so you can really choose whether you want to swim in the sea or pool.

Cold reception, cold restaurants - optically and climatically, relatively boring hotel. From 7 p.m. onwards, the bar smells like dinner too. 7 nights in Malta are 3 nights too many in this hotel. But: nice, if expensive rooms. Breakfast in the room is a useful facility. Maybe it's better in summer.

Friendly staff, beautiful view, peaceful and comforting, 5-minute walk from Valeta. Thick carpets are in the rooms, had allergy, but the staff said it was meant to be replaced with new ones.

Top location by the sea and not far from the old town of Valetta. Large rooms, but should be maintained and renovated.
The breakfast is good and as a European you can find everything you need. You should eat in Valetta, wide range of restaurants and bistros. All in all a great hotel. From me there are 2 * stars, because the house is very inflexible to guests' wishes. Doesn't really care about his regular guests. After three years in a row as a guest, the quality of service has deteriorated every year, this year this hotel saw me as a guest for the last time.

Nice hotel and great location
The hotel has a lot of services such as renting a car and a boot trip to gozo islands and blue lagoon.
I deducted half a star because some of the staffs aren't nice to the gueet. In ardition, I deducted the other half of the star because the room looks a little bit old. Other than that, everything was perfect. They have indoor and outdoor swimming pool and gym. It is a complete resort that has most of the facilities you need. They have a WiFi but is a little bit slow. They serve food 24/7 which is good because in Valletta everything closes at 22:00.

The hotel makes a very luxurious impression and the prices are accordingly. The view was good.
The staff and also the condition is still second class.
In the morning you could hardly sleep in because the cleaning staff was quite loud.
The stay was definitely not worth the money.

Lots of issues with credit card machines. Couldn't pay with Amex, despite the fact they accept it. Spent half an hour checking in, due to trying all sorts to make it work.

For those who like a hotel lobby with a pianist

Good food, specially extrem good food at dinnertime by the pool at "tiki restaurant".
Friendly staff, quiet rooms, nice views from the 4. floor breakfast room and from the 5. floor dinning room over part of the valettaa grand harbour

Lovely hotel with excellent service. Steps from the capital city of Vallletta. Always a lovely place to stay and offers great accomodation. Very nice buffet breakfast and dinner offered.

It is an old, visually beautiful hotel. The rooms are large with a large bathroom and balcony. The furniture is antique and the television is a blurred, cheap product. The bus station and the city can be reached on foot in about 8 minutes. Front office and concierge are professional and very friendly. No employee understands German, not even the concierge. The evening cover service is very friendly and corrected inaccessibility several times that were neglected by housekeeping staff.
There is piano music in the bar, changing every day. Unfortunately, in the back of the bar, from the open ground floor, the smell and noise of the evening buffet rise up.
The outdoor area is spacious and perfect. The wellness area is out of date and the whirlpool too cool. The breakfast room has a beautiful view. The buffet is clear, not varied and the juices are made from concentrates. It always depends on which restaurant chef is on duty, so there is attention and friendliness. Often the staff is only concerned with themselves. In the case of serious complaints, it is not considered necessary to apologize to the guest, not even the restaurant manager. It's a shame, but only a 3 star level in my experience.

Large luxurious hotel located next to marina within walking distance of Valletta town centre, well positioned for restaurants, tourist attractions and hop on hop off tour buses, large clean and comfortable bedrooms with balconies, some overlooking marina and pool area.

What a joke. One would think that the very high room prices would equate to very high quality service. But no! We were in the check in queue for more than a half hour our room was not ready at 3:30 pm. We were told to take a seat and they would call us when ready. They never called. If we did not go back to the desk we might still be sitting there. The very least they could have done was offer us a glass of orange juice or s glass of beer. No hope of that. Not even an apology.

75 quid all you can eat xmas buffet on christmas day. Delicious! Attentive staff that have the personable touch, without being overbearing. Exquisite decor. Convenient friendly cab service with their own cars. Lovely staff. And the pumpkin parmesan and parsley ravioli was out of this world delicious, as were the roast potatoes, and the rose and lychee gateaux. Amazing views also.

Disappointed by the smell of mold in the rooms and corridors. The building is beautiful indoor and outdoor but the maintenance is awful. The service is not prompt I requested a corkscrew, it took more than 40 minutes after my request to get one. Hairdryer are small, with not power if you wish to dry long hair. It is not a tragedy, but not even a five stars

Hotel is a 5 star hotel, but the rooms are old-fashioned and the bathrooms are worn, mattresses are okay. Staff is friendly but very inflexible when it comes to requests. Breakfast buffet is ok, cafe well, big eggs and omelette station. Swimming pool and loungers are fine and clean. Price / performance ratio for a 5 star hotel is not appropriate.

This is an excellent full service modern hotel, perfect for business or indeed leisure. It has spa, outside pool, and very nice views across the northern harbour from many of the rooms, most of which have balconies and are extremely comfortable with smart bathrooms, and all the in room stuff (tea and coffee making, safe, fridge etc). The hotel is very modern, yet the public areas do have some charm and character. The service at reception and the bar area is professional and warm. In terms of location, it is only 10 minutes walk up to main gate of Valletta (the hotel is just outside the city wall, and is architected so that from many angles, it appears to be part of the city wall). Breakfast buffet is awesome (expect to put weight on here). Dinner is also a buffet - however, although it is nice enough, the standard of food is a long way short of fine dining. Although the hotel describes itself as 5 star, I think it is better described as very good 4 star. It doesn't have the exclusivity of a genuine 5 star place eg as you would find in a major European capital.

I stayed 7 days at this hotel. The unpleasant thing is that we had to leave a deposit of 350 euros as a guarantee. The deposit was blocked for 30 days. At the end we were charged with 7 euros, one for each day. As much as I paid for the room, they could add up the price. The furniture is very old, dirty, the plates at the restaurant are from grandmother's, ceramic weather. I received a room for people with disabilities because they did not have another one. We were lied, they said that's what they asked for. Reception staff and manager acknowledged that they did not have any more rooms and the next day we were assigned to another room.

I rated it 4 stars

I rated it 4 stars
The worst thing to try in this hotel is two things:
1- The restaurant
2 - non-fresh water
The most beautiful of what distinguishes it:
1- The rooms are spacious
2 - beautiful view
