If I could leave -5 stars I would, DO NOT put that you can call at any time for questions or email the management team if you are just going to IGNORE the existence of your customers, customer service? HA! what a complete joke, would and will never go back, thanks for nothing!
Awesome!!! Fourth time visiting, fourth time leaving impressed.
Great venue. Good performances. HORRIBLE RUDE bartenders.
Came to see Sales, left with many memories. Great venue
Feels like home, been coming here for decades. Great staff, intimate venue.
It's one of the best venues in Dallas for smaller shows from both bigger and smaller base artists. Great views all around and the fact that it's more intimate really get the crowd going. If you get lucky and hang out by the back of the venue, by the tour bus zone, you might score an autograph or two. I got lucky when Gym Class Heroes was in town. People have a great time here. Be ready to stand, though, as there are no seats. That's the only big caveat.
Had to given it 3 stars because of the two (2) male scary parking attendants incident but.... We saw a favorite ballet here, The Texas Nutcracker ballet and had coffee and wine in a plastic cool cup you can take home for memories. We did have an unprofessional, "scary" like couple of male (two men directing all cars) parking attendants verbally talk rude to us but I unfortunately had to complain because it was so shocking to us as women. But, nonetheless, the ballet was great and the theatre staff was great and the whole set was amazing and beautiful and colorful and uplifting to watch. And alot of families with their many young children were all cute and dressed up together but I noticed alot of people were just casually dressed as it wasnt like that in my day but I felt that's a good thing because everyone has a right to enjoy a ballet a long as were all clean and dressed our very best. New world now; but thats a good thing. Keep it positive; take nothing personal; and, peace. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year in 2019!
I always have a great experience going to shows here. I've seen all sorts of concerts here and each has been a fantastic time. Drinks are little pricey, but that's not a deal-breaker. Come and enjoy this beautiful venue. Just come early enough to get a close parking spot! And bring cash for parking.
My only complain is that the seats are all way too close together, there's just not enough room for the chairs in some sections and some seats like my own for a Doylle Bramhall II concert was behind a couple which made it really hard for me to see what was going on on stage. Sure the seats are risen when your seat is further back but not enough in my opinion. I'm 6ft and it didn't help, I had to constantly move around in my seat to get a glimpse of the stage and I didn't want to stand up because I'd be covering the people behind me.
Cool intimate environment to see great artists! Adrian Belew was great!
Wonderful live music venue with just the right size with the option of table seating or standing in front of the stage.
Very cool old theater featuring both big and small acts. Definitely has character.
This place needs to be supported by all who love live music
If you want the best parking this be yo man to call up
Good location to see a live show; reasonable ticket prices, decent concession prices and it's hard to get a bad seat/spot since it is such a compact venue.
Parking is a little lavking, but good location with plenty of restaraunt within walking distance.
Pretty good experience overall. Drinks were lackluster, but performer was great. Atmosphere was chill and friendly. Interesting and intriguing decor. One of few and fewer places that still somewhat capture the soul of the "old" Lower Greenville.
Interesting and unique. Feels like you're in another time when you enter the theater. I have been to this venue so many times for concerts and I cannot remember a bad time.
Love catching shows at the Granada Theater. I'm not sure how many people it holds but it couldn't be more than a 1000. I've been there for Sarah Jaffe when it was packed and you couldn't get to the bar and for the Lemonheads where they had a surprisingly light crowd. The drinks are about like any other Dallas location. $16 for a double vodka. The sound and lighting for the small venue were perfect. I love these small places were you can actually see the performers faces. Oh and plenty of parking behind the theater - it was $8 for the Lemonheads. Highly recommend catching your favorite show here.
Promises of the door opening at 11 am and they open it an hour later! First and last time here! Merrill twins aren't worth it.
Went there for a Christmas party. Loved the atmosphere and staff. Great experience!
Everything was so salty and over priced. I had the sundown burger and I was nasty.
Great place to see a live show, but the drinks were way too expensive. Seen Def Leggend and they were awesome they rocked the house....
This place has been around forever. I've been here a hundred times and I will keep coming back.
Fun place to see concerts. Unhappy that they sell you cups of water. I could understand bottles but not cups of water.
This place is an absolute gem. A historic landmark off Greenville Ave.. most definetly a legendary venue! The staff is awesome, and great to work with!
Great small venue, sound quality was good. Just be there early to get a spot with a table
One of our favorite midsize venues in Dallas. Located in a great neighborhood for food and drinks.
Loved the ambience. My buddy and i were the only black folks, but it was great music. The country and western band was extremely lively!
Acoustics are spot on, just wish it was more open towards the front of the stage.
The Granada Theater is one of my personal favorite venues to see live bands. It's intimate, the sound system is great, and the crowd is always good. You can see the band great from anywhere in the venue.
We had a great time listening to live music from Texas artists!
Saw The Rose We Rose You Live and the venue was great, had perfect viewing. While waiting outside in line there was shade and it was a nice place to visit and see a concert. Parking is great it's really close and safe.
The Granada is one of the better venues in Dallas. Even though the ceiling stands as tall as Treebeard, the atmosphere is intimate, and the classic theater decor mixed with new age lighting and screen displays compliment any show. Which they have plenty of. It sits on Greenville, so close your eyes and point in any direction and there's something to do. There are two levels and a bar on each, so you don't have to leave the show to get quenched. I highly recommend it.
(See? I said Excellent)
Great old theater with a really appealing variety of shows and events. There's a great balcony and the floor is graded, so there really aren't many bad views in the whole place!
Undeniably the best venue in town if not north Texas - and I ve seen them all
I really like this venue. The tiered standing room at the front gives you a good view from just about anywhere, and the balcony area offers some seating if you prefer that. They even have a water cooler set up in the lobby, rather than forcing you to buy it (though a bottle is only $3). The only possibly negative thing I can say is that it tends to be extremely loud in there, so I recommend bringing earplugs.
Great smaller venue where there is no bad seat or view from GA. They have plenty of bars (3) so you don't have to wait and the dividers between the different levels of GA are great for breaking up the crown and giving short people a chance for a good view. The stage is high which also helps for better viewing and you're able to get right up next to the band. I loved this venue. It's also is a cool area with plenty of bars/restaurants in walking distance.
I like the lower Greenville area of Dallas. Parking is right behind the theater. I think it was like $10? A nice venue that features some really great smaller acts.
Dope. I'll be back. Feels old school and new school.
Great venue! No matter where you are in the room you can see super well!
Well aged yet maintained venue that packs in great acts of all different genres week after week. Exceptional sound system (do recommend you stick with the nonoiseearplugs for metal shows) with easily accessible bars. Rest rooms are at the top of the balcony for those vertically challenged.
My favorite concert venue in Dallas. Intimate, fantastic sound, clean restrooms with no lines, easy to get a drink.
After several years of being out of state I came back for a show. Sure did miss it. Glad that The Granada is involved with The Tower Theater in OKC where I live. Great historic space, The Granada, lots of memories, and potentially more to come.
Great venue for a more intimate concert experience. Decent acoustics. Gen adm standing room is tiered so everyone can see, with mini-counters to set drinks or stuff on while you enjoy the show. Multiple bars so no long lines for drinks. Beer selection could be a little better, and snacks would be nice. But overall highly recommended. Been there for many, many shows over the years and never left disappointed.
Great place to be physically and verbally assaulted by an employee with no repercussions. Managers were well aware and employee was not fired.
Been touring around the world for more than 10 x years, and venues like Granada Theater and their awesome staff make my job a dream! Just perfect!!!
Great place for live music, definitely check it out.
Needs better handicap accessibility but a fin place
Best place for a concert, not too big not too small. A chill place to hang and watch live music!
I've seen many shows here and it is always awesome. One of my favorite venues.
I took my daughter, and she was excited, gave me a special feeling in my heart,
Excellent music venue with smaller artists that never cost a whole lot to see. I really should go here more often!
Had a great experience at The Granada Theater. Staff was helpful and friendly. Spent my 40th birthday here and met John Lydon backstage. The acoustics are top notch and ambiance is great. Loved it!
Awesome intimate venue! Classic! Retro! My daughter and I saw Cavetown here! Had a blast! Be prepared to stand for 3 hrs! No seats! Eat at the Sundown Granada! Be banded and skip the line and enjoy valet parking!
Intimate show venue in an old movie theatre. Cool. Cool. Cool.
Absolutely gorgeous. I had a great night. Definitely see a show at this venue if you can.
Watched Junior Brown perform here, several times. I love this place.
Great little spot for live music. The murals on the walls are great, appear to be original but if not, did a good job of replicating old feel
