Since moving to Texas we've seen more shows at the Granada than any other venue. Partly because they have a great selection of artists and the fact that you know it's gonna be a good time!! The sound is always great, there isn't a bad seat in the joint and plenty of bars for libations! I'd give 10 stars if I could!
The Granada is a grand old theater, and a reasonably good concert venue, but still difficult if one is not sitting in the floor seating. Balcony seating is not sloped enough to provide clear sight lines from all seats. Sound is good everywhere, and at the concert I went to not too, too loud - averaging out slightly over 82 decibels. There's enough convenient parking in a modest cost. Not my favorite venue, but acceptable.
One of my preferred music venues. I am always comfortable and always have a great time.
Stand and dance on the floor, or get a reserved seat in the balcony, it's a good place to catch a band in a fun neighborhood.
I usually sit in the balcony for shows. I try to sit to the right of the sound board, or to the left if my favorite seats are sold out. If you sit in the rows behind the sound board, your view might be obstructed.
I like to eat dinner before the show at Aw Shucks oyster bar across the street. A fried catfish pp-boy or a Mexican shrimp cocktail before the party fuels the fun.
The Granada gets some good acts. I see some of my favorite touring bands there.
The sound in this theater is amazing. And everyone working there was so nice.
The sound is pretty bad in the back. People vaping indoors. Some drunks and quite rude people in the crowd..
Great sound! Marked off standing room on the floor can make it hard to find a spot sometimes. Also - don't trust the set list times! I missed half of grandson's set!
Great artists, but no seats! Period! NO seats....One has to stand for the entire performance. Recently attended Willie Nelson concert there...Even for a performance by a legendary artist, three hours is a long time to stand for many folks...Not a place for the faint of feet! Still, GREAT show! Wow! Sold out in 8 seconds I'm told! Go Willie...We will have to roll him up and smoke him when he dies!
Love coming here! The venue is not huge but it's personal. You are around people who love music and having a great time. So if someone you like performs here definitely go!
Cash and Mavrick put on a great concert! Facility needed to be a little cooler though very hot inside. But overall a good place
Love this place! Always have great artists and they have always been accommodating with last minute ticket purchases.
The Granada Theater other then my tattoo shop is my home away from home. Some of the best bands come through and play this venue, I have seen some of the biggest bands perform here and I have seen even more indie bands perform here and go on to be HUGE! Granada Theater has been my therapy since my relocation from NYC.
Absolutely fantastic venue, it was an amazing place to attending Digital Fight Club this year. Would definitely recommend to any group or organization looking to host their event at a fun space with easy parking and a central location for people in Dallas.
Loved the theatre. Wished it were a little bigger since this place gets packed FAST.
Great historic venue. Beers are unfairly priced though. Still had a great time.
Great venue. First time I saw a show here and now I can't wait for the next one.
Come here for the 635 praise and worship at the last Tuesday of every month!
Great music in a fun atmosphere. The Thin White Dukes stole the show. Do not miss the opportunity to enjoy them. Highly recommended for any David Bowie fan!
Great food and great service!! Loooooove the music and atmosphere
Great place to see a band. Sound is very good on first level, but just decent on second level. Pretty crowded, but there are plenty of bars to get drinks, so not much of a line at the bars. A bit pricey for drinks, but easily avoidable by eating and drinking at the many places close by, then going to Granada.
A Dallas live music institution. This is a great location to take in a live show. The lower level is general admission and there's plenty of seating in the upper level/balcony. Decent selection of beer and adult beverages (prices are okay). Good selection of assorted music genres play at this venue.
Had a wonderful time, love all the open floor room!
Granada Theater has been one of my favorite music venues in Dallas for over a decade. If you haven't check it out, I highly recommend it.
Great venue to see your favorite performers! Went to the Yelawolf show on 08/31/18 and no complaints!
Great venue! Awesome time celebrating Ottoman Turks' album release.
Nice evening with friends. Free movie night on Wednesday's. Appetisers were okay.
Hard Nights Day played this night and we had a Wonderful time . Thank you Granada Theater .
Great place for small bands and intimate performances.
Great venue!! Very efficient with wrist banding and checking bags. Made the process very smooth and easy. I didnt like the twitter board though.
So much fun. Loved the bands and the drinks were great.
1st time there. Reminds me of a little converted theater in my town. Enjoyed Victor Wooten live concert.
Great place to see a show! Easy entry, good bar selection, we enjoyed it
Thrilled to see the Ricky Derek Christmas show here! What a lively venue. The show is fabulous!! Puts you into the Christmas spirit. Excellent bar & easy parking.
Overall ok venue, one small issue... The sound system is not so hot. A lot of reverb and bass overpowering the artists.
It was sooo good! It was the perfect size! Loved it so much!!!!
Amazing experience at the theater, not too big, not too small. You have a really good view of the stage wherever you are.
Outstanding old theater books many great local and national touring acts.
Not a fan of the sro no need to be rude about not having WiFi
Great place to catch local bands and little known artists.
Cool small venue. Have always seen great shows there. Intimate setting
Grungy. Acoustic pretty good. Would go to a concert there again.
The stages were good but it was badly handled. They didn't put up the group's name until about an hour before the show.
I went here to see cavetown on 10/27/19. All the artwork is so pretty!! It was more cozy than a normal concert bc it only holds a small amount of people. Yes, there is a bathroom very close by to the concert room. The entrance to the building is small and has a bathroom. The entrance opens up to the venue! Theres two levels. No chairs on the first one. I don't know about the upper one bc I was down in the pit. I would come here for a concert again.
Craziness.. but they really did try to keep it as organized as possible... hard to do with so many screaming girls!
Such an amazing event and venue. Its great to be able to catch a cool show in a historic location.
Watching Desparado (Eagles tribute band) best I've ever heard and service awsome!! Thanks for a good evening!
There's no other place you can get a good sound or view for the live music. Portugal. The Man 2016
Nostalgic historic venue that is beautiful. HOWEVER, acoustics are very bright to really appreciate the instrumentalists. They've done a great job of tiering the standing section so most (not all) get a good view.
Enjoyed the concert. We'll be careful about the artists we see there because of the acoustics.
Great for small concerts! Had a lot of fun here at this fun, historic venue.
Typical theatre prices for drinks but a nice atmosphere
Nice little standing room concert Hall. They always have something going on awesome here. I most definitely recommend checking out the website to plan a visit.
Needs updating. Looks the same as it did in the 90's.
They take care of every detail. Best place in Dallas to catch a concert! Wonderful venue is very clean and in great neighborhood. Great acoustics so you can enjoy the great music.
Great music venue in the M Streets area convenient to Lower Greenville with great options for music, food and special events like Bugs & Brews or their theme parties like the 80's Prom.
Omg, I went to a Devin Townsend show in this Theater and it was just an Awe. The theater is gorgeous, proffesional and it just sounds amazing. I will definitely come back for the next ones.
This is a great standing room venue. Not a bad spot in the house.
Saw Devin Townsend, it was amazing. Venue is great. Lights were awesome.
Is theater ain't never been before but I heard about it they say it's real good so get out stop the stop by there and you enjoy it
Such an awesome, historic, intimate theatre. I ve been here several times now, always enjoyed the experience immensely. Recently Tallest Man on Earth came to town and put on a fantastic show, he and the venue did not disappoint in the least.
Great venue! Good view/distance from the stage even if you buy GA tickets. The only downside is that it's hot in the restroom and it's pretty dark inside the restroom especially in the stalls. And it's not a seated venue. It looks like we're far away from the stage in the pictures but we were actually pretty close. #KPOP
One of the most beautiful theaters I've ever been to. It is small, which is great for a very intimate feel at any show.
