Went to see Minus the Bear and they performed to perfection. The Venue was nice and open and the sound was great. Do not forget your ear protection when listening to music at high levels people!

I ve only been to the Granada a couple times. I went to see The Misfits and P.I.L. and both shows were great. Hopefully I ll be able to see other shows like that in the future. It s a really cool venue.

This is one of my favorite live concert venues in Dallas. It's a very intimate setting due to the size. There's not a bad seat (standing) in the house. Acoustics are great. They also host some big name artists, so it's great to see your favorite band and not have to us binoculars.

My daughter waited 8 hours to see Lewis Capaldi. She was the only person there for most of the day. Closer to the concert, people were showing up. Some of these people went and ate at the restaurant and then said they said they could skip the line. So my daughter went and asked if that was true. They said no that they would let My daughter and the others in her line that were waiting the longest in at the same time as the line skipping people. So, she didn t eat, knowing that sbe would still get in first without eating there (which she would have if she needed to or knew about this). When they opened the doors, they ONLY let in the restaurant patrons (lime skippers) and NOT my daughters door (the people that waited the longest in line!). Needless to say, that was Pure EVIL to do to a 15 year old FAN who waited ALL DAY!!! Not a happy mom here. I will tell everybody I know how UNFAIR and RUDE the management at the Granada Theater is!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing music venue with phenomenal sound. The restaurant next door is also extremely delicious. I love this place and will be coming back for a long time. They book the best bands and never over charge for tickets.

I saw Reckless Kelly at the Granada a few months ago. After letting the trip sink in a while, I have realized that the experience at the Granada made my whole trip. Willie and the boys were amazing as usual but moreover, the friendly staff at the Granada and the ease of getting drinks made the night. Thanks guys! PS I flew from North Carolina just to go to the Granada!

Super awesome and great concert venue! Now, they have balcony seating and then they have general admission. I don't have the money for balcony seating so I can't say what that's like. But I can safely review the general admission! There are multiple sections where there are these half walls and the floor is a different height and that's because the Granada used to be a movie theater and that's where the old seats used to be. If you're bad with big crowds -and there are usually crowds- then I suggest you find one of these walls to hold onto. Especially come hydrated and in light clothing! It gets super stuffy and it feels like the AC isn't even on at times. I have seen numerous people pass out from how packed in and hot it is. So just come prepared!

The bathrooms are nice and clean. They have dixie cups and water by the merch tables. Pretty sure they also sell liquor if that's something you're interested in.

Officially my all-time favorite venue as of October 2019, nudging just over Atlanta's Variety Playhouse and The Social/Beacham in Orlando.

The tiered standing room is fabulous for shorties like me and each divider-wall even has a ledge for drinks, purses, and jackets. There isn't really a bad spot in the place and we had no problem getting to the front when we wanted to (whilst still having ample elbowroom).

The building itself is gorgeous and the bathroom kempt (and MAGICAL once you realize the door isn't fake lol).

The staff are nice and the security sensible, plus they maintain a free self-serve ice water station at the front.

Tip: The exits can get pretty congested, so get any merch before the show is over as the line can get really backed up.

I went to see The Record Company whom played a great show!! The Granada itself is a historic building so it is wonderful to be able to revive it, however the women's restrooms could use some work the stalls are black and theres not enough lighting overhead so its difficult to see. The main stage area was very echoey so a few adjustments for acoustics would be great.

Had a great time at the Dodie concert. There are two levels at this venue which helps with space and allows audience to see the stage. There is also a bathroom on the balcony level so that was handy to find out instead of walking back downstairs.

If you re handicap consider yourself out of luck. You ll probably only be able to hear the show instead of seeing people perform. I asked for handicap seating and they gave me a chair. They told me I could find a place to sit. The only place to sit was in the back where I couldn t see anything. It would be nice if this venue reserved a spot for people to sit who are unable to stand. Kinda bummed that I didn t get to actually see one of my favorite bands play tonight.at least FOH and the LD did a good job.

Staff was nice and working quickly to get everyone in the door.

Really unique venue. I love the atmosphere here. I traveled from houston to dallas for the show and it was worth it. I saw the Wombats here last night and it was absolutely great. The sound was beautiful. The venue workers were also extremely nice. I was absolutely pleased with the venue, sound and everything. Bathrooms were nice too!
The area is super nice too. Lots of places to eat and gas stations if you need to get anything while you're in line waiting. There is a restaurant in ties with the venue that you can skip the line with but I'm not sure if it's entirely worth it, but the food did look and smell good!!!
Will be back again because it was a great time!!!

The sound for hard rock is always a bit on the low end for my liking. They need to open more exits in the venue, getting out of a crowded show is tough. Drink prices are fair. Restrooms are adequate. Security is good.

This is one of my favorite venues to see concerts. It s close proximity to different restaurants and bars is second to none. They have four bars inside and one bar in the lobby. Included pictures are from King Krule and RKS.

Cool venue in trendy lower Greenville Avenue area. Its tight on space and the seats are from 1983 comfort wise but it's a good , intimate place to see a show. We saw the Fixx this time and had a good time
The Granada grill next door will validate parking if you eat there to save the price of parking but you will pay in price and slower service. Food was ok.

The venue is small and personal. There are two levels. The acoustics are not the best but you can still enjoy the show. The space in the first level in the front gets a bit tight so its hard to move around. There's also a bar to purchase drinks once you're inside.

Parking in the back for $8, with easy access to the doors. Bars in the lobby, as well as on the main floor inside the show room. Good sized space, but not too large make for a more intimate show than a full sized concert hall. Just watch out for drunks crossing the street while you navigate the potholes outside!

Went to see The Distillers. The sound was mixed badly - so loud that the vocals were washed out. The lighting was also badly managed as the lighting was directed at the audience and silhouetted the band. But we did get some of the 12 seats in the upper balcony in a general admission / stand up concert.

Excellent venue and great variety of shows. Sound quality has been top notch for every site I've seen. Standing room area is stadium style which usually means a view of the stage isn't hard to find.

I saw Knower at the Granada this past weekend, and it was my first time at this venue.

I enjoyed the intimate environment with no chairs on the main floor. Having the crowd up on their feet, able to dance around a little, adds a special energy to the show. Stage lighting was excellent.

The ticket prices are absolutely killer. $20 to see live music of this caliber is a steal. The complete opposite of the Ticketmaster bot price inflation BS that plagues every large venue and big-name group. I didn't have any drinks, but they seemed to be reasonably priced as well. Water was free.

I didn't give 5/5 because I was disappointed in the sound. Firstly, it was just way too loud for the space, especially for a band in the jazz/funk/fusion realm. Loudness isn't just a Granada problem, it's been a live music problem ever since things went electronic and sadly it's rare to find a venue that gets it. Bring your own earplugs, or make sure you get the ones offered at the front (kudos to the Granada for offering), because the volume they set is 100% gonna give you hearing damage if you don't have protection.

But besides my grumpy-old-man volume problem, the EQ was also way off. You could barely decipher Sam Wilkes's sick bass licks through the low end mud. Genevieve's vocals were sometimes hard to hear, other times impossible to hear. Luis's drums were too hot. The hard floors and ceiling of the venue didn't help.

Given all of that though, it was still one of the best concerts I've ever seen. I'd go again.

Cool venue. Very hippie chick interior. Impressive acoustics. I love the cascade of first level that way you can see over the people on the prior row in front of you. I love how close the audience can be to the stage. Very personal. The lighting A+. Also the marquee outside. Very nice!

Tickets are typically overpriced, the beer is stupid expensive, plus a two drink minimum. Used to be seating in here which was their only saving grace, sad to say that's not the case anymore.
