They are fantastic places, in the middle of the Abruzzesi Mountains.
If you are looking for peace here, it will not disturb anyone! When you climb to reach Castel del Monte, you are enveloped by the embrace of these evocative mountains. The only flaw is that we have found closed both the observatory and the shelter of "Mussolini" and it is really a pity! So inquire well

I have recently been in the mountains of the laga, they are beautiful places for walking, hiking and trekking .... what struck me is the abundance of water. I have been to the waterfalls of Prata and Volpara, beautiful even if the latter they are difficult to reach due to landslides.

Overall there are a multitude of activities you can do from hiking at all levels, to monutain biking, skiing, canoeing excursions to cultural visits to historical and religious places. There are also many initiatives in the area, for example those aimed at making local specialties such as crayfish, particular beans etc. known and advertised.
