Gran Hotel Ercilla 4* Review

Disappointing the reform of the Lobby Hall. It lacks that cozy atmosphere it had. Now more than a relaxing space, it is a correct cafeteria but without charm. I suppose the logistics and the practical part will have prevailed, but nothing to do with its previous design. Exquisite attention by staff.

It is close to places of interest, there are pintxo bars in the streets around. The room is fine. The treatment of the staff is good. If I do not give 5 stars is for the parking, it is very small, there are not always seats and sometimes you have to leave the keys of your car to move it. For that, 30 meters there is a public one.

Central and with good facilities although a renovation would not hurt the furniture of both rooms and common spaces, it seems to be between modern hotel and something from the beginning of the last century.
Acceptable and varied breakfast. You can order hot dishes and have put Nespresso machine recently.

Old facilities, cleanliness leaves to be desired, uncomfortable dock mattresses and poorly soundproofed rooms. The only good thing is the location, as long as you do not come by car.

Spectacular location ..... everything is excellent. Pity it does not have a pool. Beautiful terrace area on the top floor.

Stayed for one night during december for leaisure. The room was simple but confortable. Everything very clean, but the shower controls were a bit rudimentry. The staff and location were impecable.

Good location. Parking garage under the hotel where the car is parked by staff. The windows were washed upon collection. Value for money was good. To be recommended.

We arrived and could not leave the vehicle in the parking lot as the ceiling was very low.

Emblematic hotel of reference in the heart of Bilbao, elegant and with good services

Located in the Indautxu neighborhood of Bilbao, this four-star hotel is superbly located. Near the Guggenheim, the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum, the English Court ... Very close to Deusto. It is a lively neighborhood, with a lot of life. There is a subway entrance very close to the hotel. It has many places to eat or drink.

A couple of weekends ago we were at the Ingles bar having a drink, Cuba libre of Barcelo rum and beefeater's gin and tonic.
Sitting on one of the sofas a pleasant space, terrible drinks already served by a rather unpleasant waiter.
The height of all the price 30 !!!!! Two glasses already served ?????
The worst served and most expensive glass in all of Bilbao, a disgrace.

Great hotel to stay in Bilbao! Its a 4 star hotel that offers pretty much everything within the service category! Beautiful modern decoration, with service oriented staff! They have 24h roomservice, with a pretty good menu. The price isnt to bad either, aproximately 100 for a regular room. There is only a 15 min walk to Guggenheim-museum, and other interesting places in Bilbao! A warm recommendation from me.

Good place to stay, excellent food in their restaurant fantastic staff. Unfortunately some of the noisy festival goers disturbed my sleep but that was not the fault of the hotel.

Plece is great to explore, we explored most of the city by foot
