One of the most preferred ports in the West African region. Serves Ghana and neighboring countries.

A very cumbersome and time wasting process just to register with your outfit. Why is each step of the process so slow and time wasting. In this era of Covid we have had to drive from Accra to your office in Tema so far 3 days in a row just to do only one step each day. You also require photo id to be issued by your outfit. Even to obtain this Photo ID we once again have to apply in writing and that to after submitting the letter we have to come back next day for invoice to be raised to pay for photo to be taken after which hopefully photo will be taken and ID issued on the same day. Is petrol free. Is there no value of peoples time. In the process of such a bureaucratic process all the clearing of our containers are held up accumulating demmurage and holding up our production. Until registration is completed you do not release invoices to our company to be able to pay port charges to release our containers. DO WE HAVE TO BE TOSSED AROUND AND PUNISHED IN THIS MANNER JUST TO REGISTER TO BE ABLE TO COLLECT PORT CHARGE INVOICES AND TO MAKE PAYMENTS TO YOUR OUTFIT. THE PROCESS MUST BE MADE MORE USER FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT. PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE TOSSED AROUND LIKE THIS.
