Pretty cool offices by corporate standards, a great venue for forums and events :)

Best company in the world. The view from the cafeteria is unreal, you take in the entire Darling harbour view like nowhere else :)

Fun and friendly working environment! Everyone there is approachable and willing to help out! Office space is young and vivid! Lots of free, healthy food :)

I am dissapointed with google review. As a business we should have the option on whether or not we have to use google review. Google review is not a direct reflection of a companies service.Google employees are not helpful.

Great place to visit, cafeteria great. Also has a good toilet.

Thanks google for sorting out the TV app issue. I worked with the online forums but Sydney weighed in. Took a while but all sorted now. Love the Google.

Why not! A customer who has never used the services of a small Aussie businesss can rate them a 1 out of 5, and there is nothing the business owner can do. Should be no different for the big guns.

Always great to visit. It's closed off for the most part, unless you know a Googler or have a reason to visit. There's a Google logo on the wall in the Foyer and a Google Maps Trike opposite the lift. The coffee shop downstairs also has Google coloured stools as well.

Wen to the Google office on Friday - 48 Pirrama Rd, Pyrmont NSW 2009 to check about something. The receptionist at the staff is SUPER RUDE. She said " We don't give out company internal information" where was I clearly told her 10 times this is a public event I am asking for.

Also, as I was leaving I asked if I can have the company phone number and the answer was NO YOU CANT (yes almost screaming at me!). Well if I want to clarify something.. oh well!

Google do consider replacing this person. She is horrible at her job.

Front desk contacted for a serious problem (they charged 5K on a not-existing ADW account) very unhelpful and mean. I didn't received any answer from them, they just hung up on me twice.

What I would give to work here: ALL OF THE THINGS!!!

Very disappointed. I have been a supporter of google and some of its innovations, I particular love android and adwords helps my business. Now I have a review on my site that is in breach of defamation laws, however Google don't seem to care. This is a fake review by someone who doesn't identify themselves. I get that reviews are there to assist businesses better themselves and help consumers make a decision, but when its defamatory and hurtful the line needs to be better managed by google. Having read most of your one star reviews, most of them have the same issue. Time to listen to your customers Google.

Horrible service. Just a money grabbing behemoth and nothing else!

I was assured a call back by a Google My Business representative before 5.00pm today. Despite all the promises and assurances this has not occurred as I expected. I also requested a contact for the Google complaints department this has also not been forthcoming.

This saga has continued over the past 8 weeks. When will Google start to take business seriously? Its only fair I review your service like my customers review mine. Terrible service and I ve been disappointed once again by your lack of care from your MY BUSINESS team.

Please advise when someone will help me list our business locations preferably a senior manager who will take a simple request seriously.

I was lucky enough to meet with our fantastic google ads consultant (finally put a face to the name!). Brilliant service, great coffee and beautiful offices

As a business owner I have tried to communicate with Google on a number of occasions, who have no real customer service. They removed all my positive reviews due to a glitch, and now all i have is one bad review from a customer who hasnt even used my business! I havent been able to get Google to rectify it!!! Not impressed. You're actually misrepresenting my business, and I can't do a thing about it.

You guys need to front up and solve this.

EDIT: Got a partial resolution, G has lost a bunch of my reviews from a double listing of the business at the same location (annoyingly it had two for some reason) the second listing had about 10 reviews that just went to the wind. Got the other reviews back (about 1/2 of the total), but still have the review from the customer who never used our service (our only 1star review, all others 4 or 5). I am still leaving this as an open item on Google, as I feel these two issues are still outstanding (lost reviews, incorrect review). It is important that reviews are fare and no review data loss occurs.

Impossible to connect via a mobile phone. No response after selection is made just a repeated message.

Very poor service from Google Play, in relations to possible unscrupulous and unethical inducement of minors to make unprotected purchases. Very poor showing!

AdWords"magically" changed our monthly ad spend from $2K to $6K and tried to blame it on us. We did not authorize, action or agree to any of these changes.These "changes" were made on a Sunday morning when our office was closed. NOT HAPPY GOOGLE. They refuse to even discuss.

Trying to contact Google since so many days for using my name and contact number by fake google maps listing, I got a call once from google that it will be done within 24 hours, no action no response. Very frustrating and unexpected that the world is relying on rating of company s website whose own reviews are very bed on its own website. Very shameful google .

I am fed up with Google refusing to take a competitors phone number out of a listing in google places. It was put in by the competitor and we have edited the places but we cannot remove the competitors number. NO one answers a phone either. Bad show. Be responsible google and DO NOT BE EVIL AND NOT REPLY TO OUR REPORTS OF A PROBLEM.

Amazing workspace, people and views from the office.

Great office, amazing people and enviable culture. They have a pretty handy search engine too!

Do not use Google Shared Drive (yet) - cannot move between content manager folders even though it says you can, cannot share folders with external clients or partners, if you did not create the file then you cant move it the author of the file needs to do that so takes days to move hundreds of files as you need to copy them individually. Stick with Dropbox (for now). Oh and unlimited space is not actually unlimited. Gmail a little clunky too. (I would have given 2 star but know some great folks working at Google.)

Love the product - hate the service (or total lack of it !!!)
I recently purchased a Google Nest WIFI and a Google Nest Mini - love the products.
HOWEVER Google sold them to me at a fixed price in AUD - then a higher price appears on my credit card - PLUS an OVERSEAS transaction fee on both transactions!!!
I have written to Google Aust with NO response. SO I tried calling them - after going through their automated telephone service I reached a voice saying it will transfer me to a receptionist - 20 minutes of silence later - NOTHING !! I have done this twice - and still NO connection

A visit to Google Sydney would be valuable while waiting for the replies for our applications. My friend and I spent hours walking and finally arrived Google Sydney.
A harbor and wonderful sights surround the building of Google Sydney, with a cafe outside and restaurant inside.
A colorful word "Google" can be seen through the gate.
We went to the fifth floor and saw doors closed. People who input codes may pass.
Fortunately, a kind man at Google Reception waved to us and we finally got into Google.
Because of his detailed explanation, we finally realized only the invited's could be guided inside.
A vivid wall is behind the Google Reception, with leaves and vines, making the room like a garden. A swing is near the door, made of the rope tied on ceiling with a tire.
On leaving, I saw two women holding plates coming from downstairs and noticed there was a kitchen. We couldn't see more for no permission.
While staring at the buttons in the elevator, a passing woman came in and help us press a button quickly only at a glance at us. Kind people with rapid reliable actions are there. The ground floor is nice place to relax our legs and enjoy the environment.

I attended a Free Google nonprofit tools-seminar on Monday as a representative of Alfalfa House food co-op in Enmore. I was positively surprised of the service and to what length they had gone to make us feel important and welcome! Not only are the nonprofit tools at google greatly important and valuable for us, also the people working there are passionate about their jobs helping us achieve the best result possible. Thanks Google and Kirsten Van Rooij!

Not often you get invited to the google Australia HQ. Neat spot. Love their Pirrama place but their ODI location is pretty cool too (and soon overtakin most of Fairfax)

The Google Australia Head Office is located in Pyrmont in Sydney. To enter the office space you need to either work there or be invited by an employee. I was privileged to be invited to the Google Maps 15th Birthday Media presentation and lunch. The various floors and office spaces are fun and well designed with awesome Harbour views.

Love the mass of bike racks out the front. Great to see a company encouraging cycling to work!

Google advertising is EVIL! It is not a fair forum and Google wont help. They never help. Good luck speaking with a real human. Competitors can post any nasty unture statements they like to ruin your business. Google doesnt care. Google + Sux. I wish i had never heard of it. Woopdi they have given themselves great pay and a great office and free food. I hope you choke on it. Stop patting your self on the back and try listening to small business and actually doing some work instead of having meetings and discussing how good you think you all are. PS. Lets see if you keep this review, or delete it. BECAUSE ITS TRUE!!!!!!

I have contacted Sydney google office couple of times to find some information and they have never been helpful!!

Dodge operation, really. Removing points without proper notification at all, it's not ethical.

It's simply impossible to talk with a real person. They have zero customer service.

You would think the leading search engine would have the correct times for opening.. i just called 5.45pm and got message that office hours are 9am - 5pm. whereas your google listing shows 10am -6pm. Waste of my tme to call.

Google do host events occasionally for meet up community, really appreciate the support.

This facility has many unorthodox problems and we can all be yay, no this was a great place to unfold on google however i would be inclined to ask why 3% of the internet is google and other web services yet chrome or......internet exploror

Amazing place, people really friendly, where knowledge grow up!

I was invited to a City Experts event hosted by Google called "Sampling Sydney". The event encouraged Sydney Syders to review restaurants, venues and other places in Sydney on google. The event was attended by about 200 people and was a great opportunity to meet new people.

I snacked on canapes which included salmon, little burgers, blood pudding and prosciutto. I downed Sydney Cider and a few sneak cocktails while participating in some of the events that evening. It was a very well organised event.

The activities included human bingo whereby you had to find someone who for example had eaten at Gelato Messina or who had the same shoe size as you. Cornersmith was also hosting a session whereby you could make preserved lemons. I tasted some of their tasty dips as well. The mustard was really nice.

There was also an opportunity to review some of your favourite places in Sydney at the chrome book table and also there was a massive map where you could post up your favourite places in Sydney. I went for a local in West Ryde in Tatsuya! Represent.

I'm looking forward to more City Experts events! Start reviewing Sydney!

i have a problem with my google account and the girl at reception in sydney simply anded up saying sorry i tried thankyou and hung up!!!! omg that is incredible poor customer service to hang up on a customer no matter what the issue is!

With respect, I am a reviewer and reviewed two businesses with definite issues. Unfortunately, google does not publish it (i suspect the owners object to my candid review). I could tell the businesses were using "rent a crowd" (first timer reviewers) to give it a five-star rating when I know the reputation is terrible. With poor reviews, it is up to business owner to have there right of reply as assert their views. You can not censor what people write and when facts were presented (e.g. Court judgments in the form of website link). It is a matter of public service. I sincerely hope you that you will improve your service. Wish you all the best!

TERRIBLE!!!!! I've having an issue with Google My Business constantly removing my edits to reflect the correct information for the past 11 months. Every 2 days my edits get removed, I call them every second day to fix the issue but just get the run around, its like ground hog day. Apart from killing my business its incredibly frustrating that once I do the screen shots and reply to their email so they can escalate it, nothing ever happens after I respond. ANGRY is a mild way to put it.

In such a great location, working space and looks over the pyrmont bay, which is priceless.

I went through the most of the reviews provided by people whom somehow do business with Google, and I have found that I am not the only disappointed one!!
Most, almost all, + ve comments are about Google's geo-location and their food..., presumably written by their employees... .

Google is a massive cooperation that has the ability/power to do better, indeed, but why they don't, remains unknown, at least to me.

Without the presence of small or large scale businesses, Google is absolutely nothing but a Website! The foreseeable future may not be as good as it is now for Google, as some fresh competitors may make Google a history, considering the fact that Nothing Is Impossible!

for nearly 5 years a Google You Tube employee stalks me all over the inter net - This is common - as I have found out they are all so over qualified for there jobs that they stalk individuals interfering in there life for there own amusement and for something to do - they rarely get promoted with in Google because no one ever moves on and there already over qualified , so they take out there dis pleasure and frustrations on ordinary unsuspecting people like you and me - Google pays them to do this so they can stalk individuals for years at a time pending on the sick and psychotic nature of the employee - The Sydney You Tube Australia Google office telephone number is actually an Indian call centre based in India - Not in Sydney at all
