That Hotel is really rubbish. For that price it is terrible.
Stinking rooms (i changed once but it was the same).
Windows were dirty, i mean really dirty.
Dont go there, for the same price, or even cheaper, you get much better hotels in perth !!!

The place was nice but it there was a few things I could honestly say needed improving it was:

- Firstly the air conditioning in the rooms, mine was blowing warm air and the dial to adjust it was broken.
- Secondly the room was quiet stuffy in general because the windows couldn't open.
- Thirdly the fridge wasn't exactly cold either, our ice creams melted in the freezer and it was leaking water.
-Fourthly the TV, the remote was backwards, the volume down button was actually up and there was limited to watch.
-Lastly the bath and toilet, the bath was tiny, I could barely fit in it, I did say there was no kids coming yet I got a kids bath. .. And the toilet was in a weird spot, it was too close to the wall I could barely reach the toilet paper to the side... It was just abit awkward.

But in saying this the staff where friendly, it was a clean quite hotel and it was convenient to get to places.

Our stay at Quality Hotel Ambassador Perth (or known as Perth Ambassador) was exceptional! We loved how, in a very reasonable price, we had a comfortable stay for our 4-day trip to Perth. Our booking includes a free breakfast at Cafe 196 with a wide variety of food choices. The bed we had in our room is truly comfortable. Our toilet is equipped with a shower and also a bath tub. Towels are of great quality and it has an available floor towel and at least 5 face towels. The complimentary toiletries smells nice and good for those who are very particular with toiletries to use. The Wi-Fi connection is fast and our devices were continuously connected. TV reception is good. Room has a kettle and a small bar fridge. It has a study table with a desk lamp. Our room is facing the sunrise, a good way to welcome the day. Location is good as it is just few walks away from the Perth Mint, the Esplanade/riverside and the bus stops (bus is free within the CBD aside from the CAT buses). It is also close to Pan Pacific Hotel where our tour to Rottnest Island picked us up and drop us off. We were also able to leave our luggages upon the 10am checkout and claim those before our departure at 9am. The Perth Ambassador is truly recommended for budget travellers who are seeking comfort for their trip to Perth.

This is my fourth time staying here. I tried two other hotels in Perth one cheaper and other same price range. Prefer Quality Ambassador, definitely my go to when in Perth. Plenty of free and paid buses run straight past or 15 min walk to Hay St for all you need. Few minutes walk to park and river. Helpful service from staff. No problems when having to extend stay on short notice or having luggage looked after. Clean and quiet, no noise from other guests , minimal traffic noise. Being from country I struggle with city noises and cities! One side of hotel currently an empty lot so yup there is graffiti on wall to that but considering most times when you look out a hotel window all you see is another hotel, I like the vacant lot. It allows light in your room and privacy. TIP: standard rooms are more spacious. Premium rooms refurbished and modern but less floor space. Personally I like this age of hotel over the fancy modern shiny ones. It's clean, comfortable, quiet and relaxing place to be.

It advertises that it has airconditioning, but it doesn't! It is centrally heated and the rooms do not have any temperature controls at all! The rooms were way too hot, especially at night!!

The room itself is simple and fine, bed very comfy. I am still waiting to receive my bond back even though they had told me that they were refunding the bond at checkout. Almost a day later and I still have not received the refund. Not only that but they were making it complicated and a hassle to receive the bond.

Affordable and convenient in the city. Close to restaurants and the free bus service. Staff went out of their way to help us during our stay. Would highly recommend for the weekend getaway.

Some hotel staff accomodating. Cleaning of rooms very poorly done, 3 people staying in a room (3 single beds) and only 2 towels left most days. No mugs cleaned most days. The third bed in our room was the most horrible trundle bed we have ever seen, hollowed out in the middle with a huge dip, perfect nook for a dog to curl up in but not good for much else. Hotel room bin was not big enough for any rubbish and at the point where rubbish was left on the desk (paper, 2 wine bottles and some shopping bags) our $100 bond was threatened to be taken, we had to request a normal sized bag for rubbish and spend the 2 mins putting it in ourselves. Average hotel, best of luck which staff are working on the days of your stay.

Good value hotel located in a business district.

Good value hotel located in a business district.
Friendly reception staff giving little explanation, too bad ...
Parking at the back of the building but paying ($ 12 per night) and without direct access to the hotel, not practical when you have a lot of large luggage.
Front room with a little ocean view corner between two buildings.
Basic room and a little run down. Air conditioning hard to find but works. Bathroom with bathtub (handshower) and shower but without ventilation, too bad.
In the hotel there is a gym and washing machines.
There is a bar with an hour of happy hour for amateurs and a restaurant with dishes however arbitrary and tasteless but at relatively fair prices.
The room is impersonal like the whole hotel elsewhere.
The staff (who are the same as in the bar) are nice but quickly overwhelmed.

Not the same quality as the other ambassador inn around Australia. Rooms are old. Aircon was not working and the room was very humid. When I asked the response was the aircon is central and can be either set in cold or hot and because the whether was neither of them so they switched it off centrally. That made the air almost not breathable. The water hit water was not hot at all, I am wondering it can cause some health issue as if the water is not hot enough when it goes through pipe it can develop bacteria:( not recommended at all.

Pretty awful. Had hundreds of pounds of luggage, no help offered, just pointed at a wobbly cart. they don t have toothbrushes or any hygiene products of any kind and are not very helpful. A sleazy motel would give you the same experience. Rooms are very old and dated. Not recommended at all.

Shower, bathtub are separate, and hot water. The way to go is the best, and in a short time the bath tub will be full and it will be hot water. It is a cheap hotel at this price. The rooms are large and comfortable. There is also a warm response from the employees. I stayed for 5 days, but there was no inconvenience.
