Got my exam done here. The service was great. The thing that lead me here was all the great yelp reviews they had. So felt like i wasn't taking a chance. After I gotten my exam,
I placed my order and what sold me was that Kevin knew all his stuff. He broke it down to me pricing compared to costco. So actually I was saving a couple bucks from purchasing w/ them rather than
costco. As well as in ordering my year supply I get an awesome rebate. Best part is if my prescription change and I no longer need these contacts, they are willing to take them back and swap them out for me
no charge as long as I haven't opened the unused boxes. I don't think costco offers that. I'm happy I can't complain thanks Golden Vision :)

Bad dealing, despite having medical insurance, they force you to buy a poor medical framework at a high price so that your application is accepted

My grandma (Faida) is a patient here, and has been extremely happy with the service. She recently had an appointment with Dr. Fan and found her to be effective, made her comfortable, and spent time talking to her throughout the appointment. My grandma was very pleased with the experience. Thank you!

My family and I have been seeing Dr Lena Chang and Dr Jennie Fan for the past 20 and 10 years respectively, and it has always been the best experience for eye care at Golden Vision Optometry. I had personally been to several optometrists in the past and none of them can compare to Golden Vision for the level of friendliness and respect for the customers. The doctors' and staff pay close attention to details and always explained thoroughly what needs to be done. They have very modern and high quality frames and all my glasses made there were flawless. The place is also very clean and the wait time is usually less than 15 minutes except for Saturdays.

Not so good of a service. We arrived at 9am and ready to get some new glasses or repair my old ones but they were not so caring and told us that they can't do anything til 10am

I went to check my son's visin , everything was quickly and good , I like them because they have good staff and I don't have to wait long time ,

Been coming here for over 10 years, consistently great service. Highly recommended.

They have very bad services and when I take my daughter for examination the doctor couldn't make a decision and she said " I can't give a diagnosis for your doctor because I don't know and you should take her another vision "
So I called my insurance and they said you should wait another 2 years for the next exam.

The take 25$ deposit if you don't go there they take it but when you get there at the time and finish all thing they will not give it back if you didn't remember, when I check the card and I see this

I am a first time patient here and was a last-minute walk in. Not only was Dr. Chang willing to see me, she spent extensive time evaluating my eyes and fitted me for contacts. They happened to have a machine I have never seen before that is able to take a picture of my eye without dilation. The pictures revealed all of my eye rather than only a portion near the center of my eye. Upon looking at my right eye, Dr. Chang saw a small tear. She consulted with Dr. Yu, a retinal specialist to also look at my eyes. I feel that it was meant to be that I went to Golden Vision Optometry today and that they would catch this. They were all very patient in answering my questions. I found everyone here to be very friendly and professional.

After talking my kids there for six years they started to give me hard time by not letting me book an appointment for my kids and instead they telling us to walk in when we do walk in they tell us they are completely booked. The truth is they don t want us here because of the type of insurance that we carry but they don t have the balls to tell us that. What an inhuman way of treating people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great staff and Dr Chang is awesome! I was treated with respect and was felt right at home. I have no hesitation in referring Golden Vision Optometry.

This is the second year I have used Golden Vision Optometry. Prior to coming here, I had struggled with my glasses and the prescription being right. The doctors here are very professional and knowledgable. I made a very last minute appointment for me and my 7 year old which was accommodated with ease. I did not have to wait long before being seen. The assistant was great with my 7 year old who had difficulty with one of the eye tests. Judy who helped my son and I select our frames is so kind, patient, and friendly. Her smile just puts you in a positve and uplifting spirit. Glad I made the switch!

I have been coming here for years. Always good personal care and never have had any of the issues described in other reviews.

I would strongly recommend Golden Vision.

Every time I go to this optometry I always end up with problems. I decided to buy contact lenses from them once and they were perfect. But the second time I ordered them they irritated my eyes so much. I then came to find out that those lenses were expired/defected. Not to mention, their 1-year warranty isn't what they say it is to be. Overall, they are very rude and not helpful at all. They don't care about what their customers have to say.

I went in today early in the morning the staff was really friendly I was helped right away and I was in and out in less then 20 mins I definitely recommend this place if your looking to buy glasses that are great quality

They are not as good as most people think. Their service is lousy and it takes over an hour to even be noticed.

I've been visiting Golden Vision Optometry for a few years now, and I'm very happy with the service and quality of care!

Dr. Lena Chang is very friendly, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented. She took the time to answer my questions and explain each process and diagnostic test in my comprehensive eye exam. (My dad has age-related macular degeneration, so I'm especially vigilant in guarding against ARMD.)

Dr. Jennie Fan clearly answered all my questions about the results of my eye scan.

Zach patiently captured several images of my retinas, after I accidentally blinked during the image capture!

And to top it all off, I absolutely love my new pair of Raybans!

Walked in for an eye exam. Everything was fast and easy, got my contacts right away. All the staff were helpful and friendly. Dr Chang was really amazing.

I've been a patient here for almost 20 years, and have referred others here with great results. Always a perfect experience in dealing with front office staff or any of their doctors. The equipment they use is well maintained and constantly updated. They also invest in a very deep inventory of glasses and contacts so sometimes you can get your contact lenses on the spot as opposed to waiting a week or more at other chains.

Word of advice to others - Check your insurance coverage before going... Or even signing up with the insurance. My insurance changed many times over this period and some companies are not as good as others, so it's really not the clinic's fault. So you might want to one-star the shady insurance companies... not the messenger.

Great service, very friendly but usually the appointment is 40+ minutes later than scheduled time

I ve been coming here my whole life but today I had an especially great experience. The staff at the front desk were very courteous and pleasant. I came 10 minutes early for an appointment at 2:30p and they did not hesitate to get me started right away. I went in for an annual eye exam and was seen by Dr. Jennie Fan, who was fantastic. Not only was she very knowledgeable and empathetic, but she went above and beyond to answer my questions that I had about my poor uncorrected vision and vision requirements for military aviation. She dedicated what felt like an extra half hour to help address my questions and concerns about my eye health, for which I m very appreciative and grateful. Thanks a bunch to a great team experience!

The staff and doctors are all courteous and helpful.

Consider this optometry as the last option .Never buy glasses from here.They charge high for the glasses and then reduces with insurance and make u feel that u paid less for it,the truth is the amount u are paying is the actual price of the glasses u buy.Until u pay for the glasses they will say something and will never keep their word later.Horrible experience ..will never and ever go there or will refer to anyone i know..I had a loss of around $250 by getting a normal glass from there.The Doctor is helpful but never buy glasses from Golden Vision Optometry.

I am new to the area and saw Golden Vision Optometry was in my network for insurance, as well as close to my new home, so I decided to give it a try. I am glad I did! I didn't wait long upon arriving. I was taken in for a few simple tests before seeing Dr. Chen, who is absolutely so friendly and knowledgeable. She prescribed a new type of contact lens which has worked wonders on my dry eyes. Everyone there I encountered was courteous and friendly. I am really glad I found this little gem in the heart of Irvine!

Please don't consider this optometry. I had to pay $100 for an eye annual exam. They also billed the VSP insurence almost $300 for my visit. Horrible experience.
