Disastrous. My stay was from 25 to 26 July. It was 38 degrees and there was no air conditioning in the room. Also no fan. It was so terribly hot that we were willing to travel back home for 2.5 hours at 11 in the evening. Unfortunately we could not arrange transportation. Lady at the desk was very rude. Hotel is dated and poorly maintained. What a waste of money.
Had a super stay! Come to work in many hotels, but I will definitely return to this with the family! Holiday in your own country!
After our bad experience, the management had given an extra night in a more luxurious room. Well, great! I now really understand the good reviews from the people. Class!!

Great hotel, nice place near Hulshorst where you don't immediately have the feeling of being in a hotel. Good breakfast in nice location. Great beds, clean rooms. We could hear the noises in the room next to ours but it could have been because there was a connecting door (this one was locked). Made a nice walk from the hotel, we got this walk at the reception. Located 5 minutes drive from the Zwaluwhoeve sauna.

Positive: very nice location on the northern edge of the Veluwe, much to discover in the area including fantastic cycling routes through the forests and heaths. The hotel is also very spacious with different buildings around the central building with the reception. Friendly and helpful staff. Ample and free parking.

To improve: the rooms and other buildings could use a freshening up. WiFi is free and in principle available everywhere, but rather slow and not always stable. The pool looks nice and it is nice to lie there, but the water is too cold to be really pleasant, especially for smaller children (on a warm summer day it was already like that, so perhaps colder in the spring and autumn). Last but not least, the rooms can be a lot better for a 4-star hotel: no safe, no fridge / minibar, no air conditioning ... and opening the windows in the evening and at night is not such a good idea because there are no mosquito nets, giving mosquitoes free rein.
Had a few wonderful days. Breakfast was fine. Corona measures properly applied. Otherwise the hotel is simple and could use a makeover.

I like to take a hotel with 1 of my four children so that we have 1 on 1 time. This hotel is extremely well suited for this. We really had a great time here! We were immediately welcomed warmly at the reception. The grounds are beautifully maintained. There are several buildings (hotel, meeting rooms, restaurant) on the site and they look very nice. Not that sleek modern, but very idyllic and rural. The room was very nice and the beds slept wonderfully. We had a great dinner, I had the halibut and it was tasty. My son was able to get a children's menu. We had dinner on the terrace and were served really good and friendly. The swimming pool is really an absolute plus !! We played a game of chess with the giant chess, hung in the hammocks, took a nice walk in the area and had a drink in the cozy bar in the evening. I am really pleased with this hotel, an absolute must !!!

That was by far the worst hotel we have ever "stayed" in.
1. Poor hygiene (hair from the previous visitor in the bathroom, fly droppings in the bathroom & window of the room, kettle was still filled with the liquid from the previous visitor.
2. Room is generally in a poor condition. The beds are worn out, the roller blind could not be closed completely, so direct sunlight on the bed. The insect protection does not work because it is perforated.
3. The pool is dirty.
4. We have the first two o.g. Points displayed at the front desk, an apology from the hotelier was apparently inappropriate.
Conclusion:
We lived much better for less money. Accordingly, we cannot confirm the positive reviews & pictures.
One can certainly have bad luck with the choice of the hotel or with the allocation of the room, but dealing with the complaint annoys us immensely.

Good hotel. The only unfortunate thing is that the staff at night at the bar fail in terms of service. We always had to look for personnel to serve us.
Great service, due to illness was initially canceled, but the next day the reservation was put back on, without additional costs. Super!! We were received by a very spontaneous and friendly lady. All the staff were very friendly, good breakfast, wonderful dinner. The beds very comfortable, nice and clean bathroom. Wonderfully walked and cycled. We will definitely be back !!
The Beyeard is a nicely decorated hotel in a beautiful place. The various rooms offer a perfect place for meetings, training sessions, as well as drinks and eateries. The service is good and the staff does this in a personal way.

Very mediocre. Certainly not 4 stars. The rooms are outdated and not really clean. Walls are damaged, stains in carpeting, dust throughout the room, dirty stains from the bathroom extractor and an unpleasant smell. There was no soap in the bathroom and the shower curtain was missing which made when showering the water separate throughout the bathroom. As a guest we could not use the restaurant because it was already fully booked. The location is beautiful and the accompanying garden too. The beds are good. In summary. A little better maintenance / cleaning and a little more focused on the own guests would make a lot of difference. But not recommended at the moment.

The hotel is fine. Nice rooms and good cleaning. The receptionist is also very friendly and helpful. She had told us about the restaurant and so we decided to eat there. Then we got there and they actually had a very limited menu. We also saw several people look very sour. We jokingly said to each other, "Well, they have a really bad holiday." When we left 3 hours later, we understood why these people looked that way. The service was friendly, but at the same time very slow. We both ordered a starter and this went completely wrong. At first it took 45 minutes before we got something and then it was not right. Subsequently, the staff did not come along with this themselves, while they were well aware that something had gone wrong. We also heard from other people who were in the restaurant at the same time that it took a very long time. After we indicated that we were not completely satisfied with the starter, they compensated this with a free intermediate course.
We also had to wait a long time for new drinks and so after we had finished our food we decided to go straight away. This was then also compensated with a coffee from the company.
All in all, we sat for 3 hours and during that time we ate a very small starter + a main course.
We were sorry that the service was so difficult, as the food was very tasty.
We had a wonderful weekend at the Veluwe National Park. The welcome was friendly and the room was very spacious with a large bed, bath and TV.
We had the opportunity to rent (electric) bicycles, the ideal way to get out and about in the park.
When you return, you can enjoy a delicious beer (various choices) or another drink in a cozy room with a fireplace. An attractive place to have a drink.
You can also dine in the restaurant. The restaurant offers you a good and extensive menu with tasty wines.
At breakfast you can grab tasty sandwiches with a wide choice of fillings. The breakfast is now also completely Corona-proof. Incidentally, the entire hotel takes into account the corona rules (walking routes, etc.)
Are you looking for a relaxing weekend away and do you really want to relax? Then this is the ideal place. Highly recommended!
Great location for a two-day training. I was there two years ago. There may be something renewed or refurbished here and there.
Clean rooms, nice bar and reasonable food. Staying is fairly cheap and the environment is very calming.

Nice hotel, several separate buildings where the rooms are. Great beds. Sloping roof with windows was a bit tricky at night. Was afraid to hit my head. Breakfast well arranged now with the corona. Perfect soft-boiled egg. Also eaten there in the evening. Also fine. I assume that I will end up here sometimes. Beautiful surroundings.
The photos do not show the reality of the hotel. The rooms smell damp, the carpets are in poor condition. And the room is very old. It's hot and there's no friobar.

What an attractive hotel! From the reception all paths lead with canopies with nice music to the outbuildings. The standard rooms are fine. You can reserve a sauna that is very large for two people but also very luxurious. Then the staff! Very helpful if you have booked something wrong (lady at the reception) or if you want a tip to go cycling or just a nice little chat (Esther, we really enjoyed it with you!). Tasty food, nice breakfast buffet and we will definitely come back.
We regularly go a weekend away, but this is highly recommended !!

I think it is really cool. Only the swimming pool outside may once be properly cleaned.
Room 119 smelled musty. Beds weren't too comfortable. Mattress was clearly put to the test;) Room was right next to a country road so were woken up early. We also took the option to check out at 14:00, but because the additional breakfast is only offered until 10:30, you are automatically bound to get up on time.
Staff was friendly and plumbing was good, as well as breakfast. We cannot judge the dinner. Otherwise looked clean and tidy, and was in a beautiful setting.
And a hotel to relax in! And with this weather great that they have a swimming pool!
The Apollo Hotel Veluwe de Beyaerd is in a beautiful location. There is a nice outdoor swimming pool. The greenery around the hotel is well cared for. There is a large parking area. The breakfast is good there. The rooms are spacious.
There was a heated pool on the site, unfortunately the pool was freezing cold. Room was clean but the shower had a very soft shower spray. Breakfast was scarce in my opinion and fresh orange juice came from a vending machine.
This hotel has 4 hotel stars but I would give these 6 stars without any problems. Of course not hotel stars, because there is no elevator and some services are not offered. But with more stars it would make it priceless. Even with wet weather you come dry from the room to the breakfast room. Handy in a country where it often rains. I am here for the second time now and it feels like home.
When we arrived at the hotel, we were disappointed by the amount of positive reactions.
The room was dirty everything was old and worn The hallways the upholstery the pool was full of leaves and other rubbish on the bottom butts everywhere. It seems more like a hostel for youth than a nice relaxing weekend away in a clean neat environment. We got back into the car and vice versa.

Het is netjes maar wat gedateerd. Een wasbak vol met barsten hoort gewoon niet.
De boxspring bedden hadden de nare eigenschap dat je na een paar uur er bijna uitviel doordat het bovenste matras van het bed afschoof. Het ontbijt was wel fantastisch !!

The family room was really perfect. Children enjoyed a nice bath before sleeping and then each slept in their own bed. The bunk bed was appreciated by the oldest of the three and the other two wonderfully in their supplementary and made-up bedsteads.

Family hotel in the Veluwe. The general environment of the hotel and the facilities are quite pleasant. a swimming pool, a few covered paths between the buildings to stroll around and a spacious terrace.
However, the hotel lacks efficient organization. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but for example the daily round in the rooms is very random (often no refilling tea, sometimes trash cans not emptied, ...)
The kitchen could also be better. We ate in the hotel 4 times in the evening, and every time steak was served. Moreover, the quality was not always that. I don't expect a star meal, but for the same money you can bring a lot more and more varied. The staff clearly had good intentions, but something is still missing. The concept of 'food sharing' also offered little added value in the way that it was implemented (compared to real food sharing such as tapas or finger food). It also often took 3 to 4 hours for a full meal. If you are still with children, or want to do something in the evening, that is really too long.
In short, if you are looking for a place that is family friendly, you can go here, but do not expect quality and efficiency in all areas.
Nice hotel with nice rooms. Good food and drink. Everything is well taken care of.
As a couple we slept there for 1 day (14-15 September 2019). Lots of parking space (which is also free). A few chickens roam freely in the area. + there are also some animals in lofts that you can view.
We had taken the Deluxe room. If this room is top and bottom (except the shower curtain, which is old fashioned)
The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and will be replenished quickly.

Everything great apartment from service in the restaurant. It was way too slow and not attentive. Tables not cleaned from previous guests. No one took drink orders or offered menus. Has to ask for everything and it was the same for all tables. Some just got up and left! It was a pity as everything else was perfect.
Particularly friendly staff great environment clean rooms. Very generous breakfast which is well complemented until the end. And indeed you are woken in the morning by birds which gives me a lot of energy. Room and bathroom with no real luxury but everything there is what a person needs. A HOTEL TO CERTAINLY RETURN
The hotel is in a nice area where you can walk and cycle. The room we had was spacious with good beds and a wonderful bath. The breakfast was good.
