This hotel is not worth 4 stars. Staff are very nice, friendly and welcoming. Food and drink is good, price wise just a bit too but it is a hotel.
The rooms ... eh hutches. You can hear everything your neighbors are doing, doors cannot close quietly. Dogs are welcome, fine but in the morning at 7.30 am I still sleep and I do not like the barking of a dog (depends on the guests, I understand)

Cleaning of the departing rooms starts early which also wakes you up.

Room at the pool side you are awakened by the construction workers sawn etc and at the back of the parking lot it is the gardener who is going to prune the hedge and tearing away cars.

Upgraded to a deluxe room, (+ 20) fear how the standard room is ... in the picture it looks big but isn't, bed is hard. No light in the shower, toilet paper is empty. The only extra comfort room has a bath, but ... could have paid 5 more. If it is above 25 degrees you will die in the room I think.

Tilting window with screen ... which you have to fix with a spoon otherwise it will run up continuously ... was very nice last night ...

Really looked online if there were rooms available in the area to leave here, but unfortunately!

Free WiFi .... not working in the room. While the mast is practically on the site.

Very unfortunate in any case and would certainly not recommend.

Again not worth the 4 stars, slept in better hotels with less stars.

Are you going to have a drink on the terrace ... you ask because you drank wine the previous evening, a bottle is cheaper ... answer from the service ... yes if you drink it all the way .... PARDON !!!

Check out is 12 noon .... nice check out time, no rush you think, get up quietly despite all the noise .... housekeeping is banging on your door at 9.30 am .... open up ... oh you are still there!

Uh yes ...

Truly the most 2 horrible days / nights in a so called 4 star hotel.

I didn't feel like going here for three days beforehand. During a heat wave I prefer to be at home on the coast than in the Veluwe. However, I was surprised when I arrived in Hulshorst, the heat was less oppressive, perhaps due to a combination of trees and drier air. The second windfall was the room, which had a reasonable temperature with the help of a fan. The third stroke of luck was the fridge in the hallway, whoever wants to can store their juices and drinks there - the tap water in the Veluwe is delicious and nice and cold, so it works well.
Our room (ground floor) and bathroom (yes, ground floor too ...) were clean, the bed was nice and soft. The mattress topper tends to slip a bit, so I pushed it back at night, just to be on the safe side.
The outdoor space is nice: swimming pool, chairs and sun loungers, hammocks, a volleyball court, a giant chess game, mini golf, some nice seats, an aviary, a terrace, ample parking in various places. Covered walking routes to the various buildings, nice when it rains heavily.
Great breakfast. What a job that must be to package everything in 1 person portions! Of course you can take as much of it as you want. It may be a bit easier in corona time, not everything can be packaged just like that. But the diversity is still more than enough. Delicious fresh bread, buns, croissants, a hard boiled egg, tasty juices, milk, yogurt, coffee, cappuccino, latte macchiato, tea, hot chocolate, various types of meat, salmon, honey, jam, peanut butter, and so on.
We are very satisfied with this hotel!

Beds unfortunate that the beds are 2 people and the mattresses do not fit well. I also think it is a shame that the reception and restaurant are in a different building and therefore always have to put on your jacket to go there.

Way too expensive for whatever it is.

A bit tired hotel.
Reserved by telephone for 109 euros.
They still charge 119 euros.
What can you do if you arrive late at night in the rain?

They also charge another 17.50 euros for a small dog. Therefore had to have breakfast in separate veranda, far from the buffet.

Bathroom was ok. Shame about shower curtain.

Beds weren't that good. One sloped slightly to the right.

Breakfast itself was adequate.

Friendly staff.

Reception was a bit strange .... It was still the question whether our room was available ...... In the end it worked out. Good room and a quick exit to the outside for our dog. Nice. The beds .... 2 beds pushed together where the top mattresses slid back and forth. My wife's box spring sloped and mine sagged. As a result of which I put the top mattress on the floor on the 2nd night and went to sleep on it. Had very little sleep both nights. The surroundings are beautiful and the site itself also looks beautiful in the countryside! Breakfast is good but not really corona proof. Check-out: it's okay .... Don't even ask politely, has everything been satisfactory ??? .... Biggest downside: the beds, having to sleep on the floor is really not possible!

On Tuesday, July 30, 2013, my girlfriend and I visited the hotel, we did not stay there, but only wanted something to drink and a snack. Four years before, we had done this a few times and we liked the location very well. (then Golden Tulp Hotel).
After three wines and a bitter garnish, the lady behind the bar said: since you are paying in cash, do you want another wine or do you pay immediately? We took another wine and paid. When I arrived home, my girlfriend and I felt kicked out of the hotel. I don't know the idea, but when I've eaten and drunk enough, I will decide to go home myself.
Very unpleasant experience.

We had an excellent meeting and overnight stay of 2 days here. Everything was arranged perfectly from room to dinner. The facilities and activities next to the hotel are great. Played a nice game of laser gaming. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for the second time. And again it was perfectly fine. Rooms clean and fresh. Well maintained. Nice beds excellent breakfast and nice staff. Also a nice area with a number of wellness resorts nearby. And all for a reasonable rate! We will definitely come back again.

As soon as you arrive at the Beyaerd it immediately feels like you are on vacation. My room was nicely and nicely decorated. "In the evening you can enjoy a drink or play a game by the fireplace in the bar. The breakfast was tasty and extensive, just like the lunch we had during the meeting. In addition, very nice meeting breaks, with juices, fruit and sweets. Really recommended!

I stayed here for Defqon 1 and was amazed at the excellent hospitality. The place is located in a quiet and picturesque location. With really modern rooms and bathrooms. I will without a doubt be coming back.

We had chosen a deluxe room for 1 night, but do not really know what luxury there was about the room.
In the bathroom there was mold on the walls and shower curtain, so the room smelled dusty upon entering, it was reported to the reception and I was given a spray for the smell and nothing else was done about it.
We had dinner included and therefore got a different menu than the guests who had it exclusively, we found the food to be disappointing in relation to the price.

We had requested a late check out and wellness in advance, both did not use it, when checking out, both would be taken off, but I found out the car that 1 thing had been taken off so I could go back again, now it has been updated several times.

For a 4 star hotel we expected more, for the same price we prefer to stay at Van der Valk.

Hotel is great, very nice walking and cycling environment. Neat spacious rooms, reception friendly and you can rent good bikes. BUT the restaurant was very disappointing. Dare 2 share menu chosen, tasty dishes, if you get them at least! Amuse in advance and sandwich very tasty, 1 hour later the main dish. Had they forgotten the starter, ok, we get coffee with liqueur as an alternative. Main dish was tasty, then you notice a bit that the service staff is very chaotic. They forgot us again, oh you haven't had dessert yet !!
Paid for the starter to get coffee and liquor instead, felt a bit like cigar out of box.
All takes a very long time and appearance is also that the guests are difficult, do not get a very welcome feeling. We hear a lot around us, sorry and apology. In short, hotel top, restaurant flop. Very unfortunate, detracts from otherwise very good hotel, they really need to do something about it.

All in all, a very pleasant stay. Staff was very friendly, in the restaurant you can eat well and after a long day of bicycles (which you can rent at the hotel) we could take a nice dip in the pool. The only downside was the room itself, very small shower where you almost had to stand against the wall if you don't want to have the shower curtain stuck to your back, water sometimes got very hot, bathroom didn't smell that fresh either. The rest of the room was nicely decorated, easy to darken at night and equipped with a kettle, coffee, tea, cupboard and TV. The twin beds are somewhat inconvenient as they shift quickly and there was no safe in room. Anyway, we weren't in our room that much so it was fine for us.

No air conditioning, therefore, extremely hot in the room. We were on the sunny side, but the curtains were cheerfully open upon entering. Bathroom: yellow dirty shower curtain, mold on ceiling, leaking faucet and a visit from Max Verstappen in the toilet bowl. Assisted by a helpful employee. Breakfast was good but very pricey. Normally I choose good hotels on booking based on the reviews (this one has a 7.9, no idea how), but this was very disappointing.

Had a wonderful holiday together with my friend and dog! Lovely and nice staff who recently did everything possible to please the guest from the crowds and heat. Nice rooms, nice pool and definitely worth repeating!

Hotel has a beautiful location, and a super good employee at the reception I caught something from a colleague who called him "Wes".
However, we have experienced a few negatives that we would like to share.
The room was not really fresh and had a pretty old look and many dirty blood stains on the wall of beaten mosquitoes (which you have a lot of trouble at night) a dirty smelling shower curtain does not make you feel fresh after the shower.
There are some chickens and roosters roaming around which looks very nice, but in the morning you think very differently than this at + - 06:00 !!! Spending hours in front of your window for hours.
We came here to refuel for the busy time that awaits us but came back very tired.
We rented 2 electric bicycles for our planned long bike ride, but the battery of 1 of the bikes was soon empty, so the bike ride was very exhausting, when we came back, "Wes" made this bike directly from the account and made a drink of the house offered (top!)
Booked in the hotel restaurant for 20:00 the same evening, on arrival there was no table free and we were referred to the (deathly quiet / boring) bar after asking how long this was going to be the answer we see what we could do and got another drink from the house.
Too bad are the half cocktail glasses for 9.50, which look frayed and poured into dirty glasses.
Again staff super friendly a few do not quite know what they do or should do there but in general (partly because of the cocking cock 2 mornings) not worth repeating for us.

Breakfast was superb! Tasty and lots of choice.

The website is not correct.

Booked a room with a terrace, because we brought a dog, but we are now in a really small room without a terrace! And the maid of the cleaning can't handle it or she doesn't know she has to report defects.
Shower curtain is downright nasty, and the well is clogged and the door cracks terribly.

Great for a weekend away. Not to be repeated.

Great for a weekend away. Not to be repeated.
+ points:
Nice room.
As many towels as you want.
Spacious bath.
Friendly staff.
Ample parking space.
-points :
Head of the bed was full of greasy fingers ... Little effort to clean seems to me.
Heating did not work, duvet does not warm you .. Thin
Prices in the Bar are really crazy. 2 drinks 2 beers, bitterballen. You can pre-order a whole meal at another restaurant.

Cozy!

What should have been a relaxing weekend away has just left us tired! I really can't believe this hotel has 4 stars. Check-in is possible after 3:00 pm but we had to wait until 6:30 pm (!!) before we could get into the room (in the Ruif). And what kind of rooms, rather lofts that smoke musty, extremely dusty and walls that were covered with the finely beaten (bloodied) mosquitoes. Lamen hoods and bedside tables full of dust (while the cleaning crew had just been ?!). The hallway and rooms are extremely noisy due to the thin walls and doors that slammed rock hard throughout the hall. A nice shower is also not an option, given the extremely weak jet and sewer air. This building is extremely outdated. There is no fun in the hotel, nowhere a nice opportunity to sit as nice because there is no atmosphere at all. If you then walk to your room late in the dark, there is no light, so you have to shine with your phone. Breakfast buffet way too busy. On departure we were not asked whether we had a pleasant stay. In short: NEVER AGAIN !!

Book here no BBQ Deluxe if you want to eat delicious and fun! We arrived with a team of 18 colleagues at the Apollo Hotel on Sunday, October 27th for a nice dinner together. The space had thought the hotel this was a dark garden room where 200 men fit in and we felt with 18 people very uncomfortable. The BBQ itself was located outside, where it was darker and too cold, and we were also considered himself to bake our flesh. The luxury salads that were there were hussars, fish and salad which were straight out of a bucket of Sligro shoveled. There was dry bread and fries in a bain-marie warmhoudbak. There's already too lightly fried fries are not much better. Although we did a couple nice not to create a fun atmosphere in this place. The price of 35 euros per person for the BBQ is ridiculous. A grand disappointment.

Welcoming reception, the room was neat and everything was intact. And working. The bed was good, the food fantastic in a nice atmosphere. However, I only give them 3 stars because it is very. The wearing of masks was badly supervised and if the staff saw it, nothing was said or done about it. Many guests did not wear face masks in the reception, restaurant and public areas of the hotel. I would have expected the staff to have taken better care of my health. Really a downer.
