We really enjoyed this hotel very much. Rented bicycles at the reception and cycled through the heath, the forest and along the sandy plains. Harderwijk is also a very nice stand with many terraces on the boulevard on the water. The lovely heated pool also allowed us to relax. There is a large lawn with hammocks. The food and rooms are also perfect. I really had a holiday feeling!

Mix of renovated and outdated. Friendly but slow staff. Not suitable for large groups. Food was below par, presentation of the food disappointing. No repeat for me ...

We visited the Christmas fair in 2015, a great event definitely worth repeating.

Atmospheric hotel with great food in the restaurant, beds are too soft / saggy for me. Neat rooms with spacious bathrooms.

For the price we paid through holiday auctions, reasonable, dingy.

Stayed here two nights last week with the EF Tour travel group of 36 and the circuit breaker tripped. I called the front desk at 9:45 PM to have them fix it and they never did. I even called the next morning at 6:15 AM and still no one bothered to flip the switch (they sent security to my room instead). I had one lamp light that worked and had to shower and get ready in the dark and via cell phone light. Finally at 7:45 AM the power was on, but unfortunately my group departed at 8:00 AM. Heard on the bus that there were several rooms on my hall that had no power either, so this is a definite problem with outdated wiring and poor management who can't be inconvenienced to check the circuit breakers or help customers.

Nice hotel in top location. 1 minus point dining you have to do when booking. Because we booked with 2 hotel rooms (4 pers) for 3 days. Not a day could we dine everything was full. !!! Unfortunately. Prefer to mention in advance. Apollo hotel group. Everything else top. 10+

Good hotel as a base for Veluwe and Harderwijk. Next to the hotel is a huge outdoor sports / event location (nice as a company outing).

A very beautiful, nice and cute hotel in the middle of the forest, which has a very nice outdoor swimming pool in warm weather.

It's just a shame that such a nice hotel has really bad and grumpy staff.

Drinks you ordered were collected with difficulty.
We had to search for staff for more than fifteen minutes to get our food that had been ready all this time and was now cold ...
They put something on the bill because the staff does not know what kind of drinks they pour.

At breakfast they had forgotten to put down coffee and bread, so we went home without it.

When checking out there was a lady in front of us (about 80 years old)
who very carefully asked if it was normal for young people from the village to also use the swimming pool, because they had not had a health check and they found that a bit exciting because of corona.
The answer was that she shouldn't go swimming herself, and they didn't want to do anything about it.

Standaard kamer prima inclusief badkamer. Ontbijt was prima geregeld I. V. M Corona maatregelen.
Klein. Puntje : Hor van dakraam kapot Hebben dit gemeld en werd direct actief ondernomen.
Wij Komen zeker hier terug.. Ook de omgeving nog niet alles Kunnen bezichtigen.

De kamers zijn netjes net als het restaurant.
Wat mij opviel is dat de mensen die er werken erg vriendelijk en meewerkend zijn.
Het hoofdgebouw staat los van de kamers wat ik wel grappig vond. Weer eens wat anders

A very well cared for hotel definitely recommended breakfast fine itself more than good room very neat pool fine einelijk nothing to complain about 1 point after and that was the weather but that nobody has in hand we will definitely go back. Great hotel in the evening I had to go with my daughter to the GPs what a service we were brought and picked up very friendly staff really ready when you need them.

Very quiet area, nice room with shower / bath and large TV. Beds are wonderful. The breakfast is neatly arranged. Friendly staff. In terms of location in relation to Harderwijk and Elburg, where we came for, very conveniently located.

The hotel is really nice, clean, and quiet. Every member of the staff was professional and kind. The food was excellent. There is a bird house and free-roaming chicken!

Een heerlijk hotel! Zowel het terrein van het hotel als de omgeving is prachtig. Fietsen, wandelen er is genoeg te doen. Ook het ontbijt en diner zijn goed geregeld en erg lekker. De kamers zijn sober, maar van alle gemakken voorzien. Wij zaten in het gebouw de hoefslag.

Incredible for the price. Basic rooms, but beautiful outdoors and a nice sauna.

2x spent the weekend in connection with training on location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice environment, cozy bar with wood burning stove. Rooms are different and standard. 1x had a room with new bathroom, living room outdated. Other times when I stayed the other way around.

Pros: breakfast, friendly staff, location, pool, feels small-scale. Negatives: dining room and conservatory feel uncomfortable. Incorrect lighting and too much reverberation and walls too bare. Too bad because the dinner was really delicious! Outside terrace offers enough possibilities but still looks shabby and uninviting. And a pity, nothing in terms of fun after dinner. A cozy bar with a good bartender / woman, nice music, outside or inside with the necessary measures could be a plus. The latter (uncomfortable in the evening) is the main reason for us not to come back again. Put some cozy seats in the grass by the pool area, there was now a chair here and there. As a result, it again looked uncomfortable and unkempt (yes then you have to send an employee there in the evening to put everything neatly again for the next day, but make it "inviting" ...!)

Had wonderful days with all friends! Nice pool to chill with a tasty duvel on tap. The food tasted great and the service was great! The activities we had at veluwe events (4x4 driving, power gymnastics and quad driving) were also great! The instructor silvan did a great job and entertained us well! The hotel and veluwe events is definitely recommended for young and old!

My mother and I had such a great time again, we were so wonderfully spoiled there, despite the corona and the breakfast, everything packed separately, which must have been a job, the dinner was super tasty, the staff took their time for us were very helpful and personal attention it really felt like coming home neat room we also had used the bikes fine. We were sorry to go home again, we have already sat here 3 times. . we will of course go again next year in one word super.

I was here for work and we are well looked after by the staff. Food was diverse and very tasty. The rooms were also clean and quiet.

After our fun and active afternoon at Apollo's neighbors, we went to De Beyaerd for a deluxe bbq. A reception in too large a room that did not match our group of 18 was already a bad start, then we were shown the bbq outside.

In the dark we had to shine ourselves to see what our buffet was. After 10 minutes the staff had found some lamps and a kind of semi-lit situation was created, anything but atmospheric.

It is of course logical that the bbq is outside, but to serve all salads, sauces, side dishes outside on a cold October evening while there is a large room available is strange. There are also doubts about the quality of the deluxe food. Salads from the bucket, just cooked fries and meat that looked like from Aldi. At a price of 35, - per person you expect more than this, I hope the hotel does something about this.

Not the expected appearance of a four star hotel. Fabric threads on the ceiling, stains on the wall. Noisy. Restaurant in Corona time fine, but strange that the choices for dinner (time and menu) are not sufficiently offered
