Always a nice place to visit. If you want to see the hand of faith Nugget you walk between the high limit area and the poker room and it is right in the corner of a corridor.

We stayed from 9-24 thru 9-28 & had a great time. Our room was clean & adequate. We were hoping for a more modern & better bathroom - tub had chips out of it & the shower head wasn't that good. But I will give it 4 stars because everything else was wonderful, including the staff. We usually go to Atlantic City but were glad to travel to travel to Fremont Street. Perhaps again in a few years - it's a long trip from Pa.
Had a good visit to Las Vegas. Lots of things to do and see in the area. Including the Golden Knights winning in an overtime shootout. Also took a realty TV series tour that included the pawn stars shop, counts customs, the toy shack and Rick's restorations.
Hotel has clean rooms and excellent staff. The pillows were far too soft (basically deflate when you rest on them) but a quick call to the front desk got us some better ones straight away. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. TVs are a little dated and have some display issues. Great place to just stay the night and enjoy Fremont Street.
First off freemont street is the best! If you come to Vegas this is the best and luckiest place in the city. Second the Live music gives the place a festive vibe. With the Sky screen giving the whole street a perfect setting. Now the Golden Nugget was where i won most of my cash back in Vegas. Im this is the place where i could have won a car on a machine(i didn't ). Definitely a must see if your in Vegas or want to see where all the classics were filmed.
Crowd on Friday night unbelievable! Parking is SUPER EXPENSIVE!!! BE SURE TO GET VALIDATION!!!
Decent room, very clean. The cigarette smoke in the hotel (not the room) was off putting but I understand that's just Vegas. There is no kettle or coffee machine in the room so maybe bring your own if you like tea before bed or those Starbucks instant coffee packs.
The pool was closed. :-(
Those hologram fish in the tanks are amazing.
Amazing buffet. Not the cheap Las Vegas food we all love and look for.
But the quality amazing. Grilled sirloin and prime rib neither needed a knife, I cut with my fork. Now that's tender.
BEST PLACE ON FREMONT ST! of your looking for ancient but then access to everything this is the place for you!
Good service. Clean room. Nice view. They do not have a laundry room. The shark pool is neat but super cold. Rooftop pool is 21+ and warmer.
Awesome Casino, by and large. Really enjoyed my time here back in December around New Year's.
Spent two nights here (@the Golden Nugget Rush Tower) with my little family this past week (during spring break). We loved it! We enjoyed the shark tank, the pool, and room service was great. I loved that the room is really spacious and it's beautiful. The bathroom is huge and I loved the overall design. This was my first time visiting Las Vegas, I'm not sure if I would visit again but I know that if I had the option to choose on spending a night again at the Golden Nugget Rush Tower I definitely would. Highly recommend it!
Their choice in security staff is beyond poor.
But one can't expect much from any casino in las Vegas. I was harassed by multiple staff for walking through to get to their McDonalds for I was there on business terms and wanted to get a quick bite to eat.
This place is a hidden gem. I travel to Vegas pretty often and I have managed to avoid The Golden Nugget due to the impression it's an "older" hotel.
I have to tell you, this is in my top 5 for the dozen or so places I've stayed. Especially if you enjoy the Freemont Experience.
There is a great selection of restaurants and as well as a great spa.
Dont forget the pool. Its beautiful and includes a water slide that travels through an aquarium full of large fish and table side service.
If you looking for a vibe that's off the strip I absolutely recommend the GN.
Went to the lounge at the four queens it was nice drinks were good not watered down!
Our room was unfortunately dirty and the bathrun had mold around it. It was a lackluster experience
Clean and comfortable rooms, the pool was great for our kids and plenty to do without having to get back into the car and driving anywhere very relaxing
Great casino near Fremont Street and that area. Very fun in and around this casino. They have AMAZING restaurants here as well. We played a few rounds of Blackjack at a table here and actually came out with some small winnings! We had a lot of fun visiting this casino.
Right on Fremont St, it's off the Strip but there's still a ton to do. It's bright and lively. The hotel is nice, the room is clean and nice. The walls are a bit thin though, there isn't much for noise reduction.
We did a staycation at the Golden Nugget. Very nice hotel, good restaurants but there were 2 items that were disappointing. First was are room did not get cleaned and second all the blackjack tables, except for the $25 one, you had to play this $1 side bet even if you didn't want to. I feel you shouldn't be forced to play a side bet.
We visited the Golden Nugget while we were walking down Fremont Street. We stopped in for dinner at grotto which was very good and I would recommend it if you're looking for a good Italian restaurant on Fremont Street. We also walked through the casino which seemed fine although we didn't do any gambling there. Overall seemed like a nice place and I would go back
Real nice atmosphere but the slot machines are very tight
Nice waitresses and staff. Good gambling just a bit too vintage on inside in some places.
The restaurant was more than half empty when we arrived for Our 20th anniversary dinner. Waited about 15 minutes to get water and drink order. Food was OK, but took 45 minutes just to place our order. Nice and casual.but NO Service. Asked about a cake, a cupcake, cookie, or desert. Got nothing. We left very disappointed in slow bad service. Probably won't go back.
Seem to be overused, not clean, no amenities. If you're not going to do what they want you to do it is very expensive. Their staff seems to be bored, over run and just as soon not see you. I walked through the casino several times and did not see a single, not one jackpot. I saw a woman with her light on, on her machine sit for over 30 minutes before someone came to help.
I always stay on the strip, but this time my Sis in law talked me into staying on Fremont! The golden nugget was very nice and we had such a great time for the 4 days we were there we didnt even make it to the strip. I will definitely stay here again.
Rooms for disabled people need more attention from the managers..
The Golden Nugget is a great Fremont St. hotel. It has everything you want in a hotel. The Casino is vast. The restaurants are great, especially the Claim Jumper. The pool has a shark tank in the middle of it and you can slide through it. My husband and I stayed for a week and had no problems or issues. We will stay here again.
I enjoyed my time there it was nice as soon as you walk in, they had a variety of slots.
The casino was very clean and exciting. The staff was helpful and friendly with all questions I had. Definitely a good time to walk and look around as well. 10/10
Fantastic experience, even won $700 playing roulette...will definitely stay here again.
The casino was really nice and had a few restaurants inside as well. The staff was nice and weren't particularly excessive
Great rooms.. nice place. Will definitely come back
Breakfast, bloody Mary was great. Loved the atmosphere, plus the giant fish aquarium.
Wifi was very patchy but other than that clean, lovely and elegant.
Really large, really clean and very very nice. The employees are very professional from valet to all restaurant employees.
Crowded but not uncomfortable due to the vast size of the casino.
Plenty of room for all and a great selection of slots to play if one chooses. Many gaming tables are available.
Very nice environment.
Highly recommend.
We brought our adult children for the first time doing slots. Everyone had a good time!
Not the classiest hotel but I enjoyed being there for work trips. Definitely not the hotel I would go to for a Vegas vacation/ baecation
The Golden Nugget Hotel is located right on Fremont Street. Even though its further away from the strip, they do have bands playing and events that go on at night, which makes it fun. The hotel also has a shark tank pool, which is pretty neat. The Golden Nugget Hotel is a pretty nice hotel to stay at on Fremont Street.
The hotel room was comfortable in the Rush Tower. A nice comfortable king bed and a couch with a chaise lounge. The bathroom was very large and modern. Drinks were as expensive as they are on the strip. The buffet is mediocre and what you'd expect.
Great stay overall. The rooms were ok, our bathroom door didn't lock and our phone didn't work but they took care of everything else for us. The pool was amazing and the hot tub was almost too hot, almost. Dealers were friendly and willing to teach newbies! Will stay again.
Kinda ran down but in the hart of the party. Machines were loose enough. Old time Vegas feel.
Best night of my life, I had so much fun here, the place is great, I like everything, the atmosphere, the people, the staff, the food and drinks, everything.
Dere was quite a quite but we finally got our food and it was awesome
We are staying in the Rush tower in a corner suite and it's sweet!
Very nice hotel the food was really good I recommend the place and the location is amazing. I will definitely go back
Came down to gamble. Good spot to play and drink, right on Fremont. Great location
The poker room and the pools the best of all the rest
Mike from valet is the reason we keep coming back! Fremont is great but the attention and service Mike gives is beyond what anyone would expect.
Claim Jumper restaurant has lost my business. Server was surly, my fish and chips were cooked in old oil and had burnt pieces of another customers coconut shrimp on them, the fries were cold and soggy and when I complained about it, the server was argumentative. There are too many other places to eat where the food and service is much better and cheaper. Possibly one of the worst dining experiences I can remember.
Dinner was AMAZING!!! Also best strawberry cheesecake I've ever eaten! Waiter/bartender was helpful and personable. Excellent experience!
So this is the first time I've been to Vegas and I gotta say wow. The hotel is super clean and nice. You could deff get lost in it so ask for a map, but the prices are fair and they offer military and also a players rate. My parents have been to Vegas countless times and they always stay downtown so learning the ropes downtown VS the strip helped alot. Would fursure stay again.
Barbeque buffet on Saturday has an incredible variety of food to choose from like different kinds of meat: churrascos, my favorite! It has a plenty sides dishes to serve with your meat: the mashed potatoes was prepared so well, creamy and very good seasoned. Cheese and charcuterie section is to died for ! Attentive and friendly staff. It wasn't crowded at the time we had dinner 6:00 PM. Kid friendly. Highly recommend it!
Went to the golden nugget because I was checking out Fremont st. The pool and slide are wicked with the large aquarium in the centre and going through it on the slide is great. The ride share pickup is a little hard to find because it is at the side of the hotel. The casino seems standard.
With out a doubt the best hotel downtown,it'd more money but well worth it,lots of restaurants,i saw a show there(lita Ford),plenty of gambling going on,machines everywhere,it cost more(less than the strip),very clean rooms, wonderful maids and very helpful personal to attend to your needs!!!wish they had more of a loyal program for folks like myself that go back to 2005,but they can count on me to be back again!!!!!love that place ,
Golden Nugget is a decent casino in the Fremont area. The casino has an open pool area with really nice beddings. They also have a lot of restaurants on the property. The staff is generally nice. If you are driving and plan on gambling for a little bit after enjoying the Fremont Street experience, this is a great place to park your car. They validate parking with purchases or valid game play.
Classic Vegas, great staff. One of my favorites on Fremont...
e beds were absolutely amazing! Rooms were nice and clean. Would highly recommend this hotel and conference center for any event. The food served at the conference functions was great.
Classic downtown Vegas. Great archetecture and lots to see to bring back memories of what Vegas really was all about. Rooms are very clean and big and welcoming. I stay here above others.
Chart House was amazing and great service! My 50th birthday weekend went perfectly.
The casino was nice lots of machines, the room was clan and spacious.
Love this resort specially because they are pet friendly. Check for deals or call them ahead of time.
I went to the golden nugget when it was raining. Freemont st was not as cool, because it was raining.
I love to stop by the gold nugget display that is in the lobby that was found in Australia under 6 inches of dirt
Nice casino off the strip. Buffet was good and clean. Slots were not as right as those on the strip.
Great hotel, love that it s got an aquarium in the centre of the swimming pool! In addition, the open space can get you a much needed sun tan for those sun tanners out there . It also has a great selection of food and restaurants. I d say it s worth the price!
Pool excellent w. poolside beverage service. Excellent restaurants. Loved Grotto and Claim Jumper. Attended wedding in chapel. Best reception ambience and food ever. No complaints.
Wish it was smoke free, but more fun then the strip
Great guest services. Great amenities. Poor elevator service. For such a publicly well known casino, having to wait 10 minutes for an elevator - ridiculous!
Great hotel in prime freemont street district. The big call to this casino is the pool with fish and shark tank. Has a water slide that goes through the tank
it was a nice place just didn't like that our shower didn't work the first day tub was plugged. But they fixed while we were out for the day. all in all it was good the maid was wonderful. the bell hops were great room service wonderful. check in was long
There customer service was lacking. The hotel operator was rude. Tried to get a late check out on a Tuesday morning only for a couple hours and was told no but if I paid half of what my room was (which was 600$) that I could get a late check out till 3pm , why would I pay 300$ to stay an extra 4hrs , smh (and I didn't check in till 1am) never again.
IT'S GOLDEN!!!!! BEAUTIFUL ALWAYS... THE BEST EVER!!!
Nice looking but rooms could use updating. Half the plugins didn't work. Phone in room also did not work.
Great old school hotel!
Great location....close to everything!
Front desk staff could be a bit less abrasive but oh well.
Highly recommend this hotel!
We love going to hang out and get drinks and sit by poo
Came for a family vacation. Did the aquarium pool and waterslide with the kids; they loved it. Plenty of places to eat. Been a while since I've been on the strip. Fremont is less crowded. I guess Vegas hasn't been "family friendly" in a while. Rooms are big enough to have Nerf gun wars. Totally recommended btw ;)
I actually went there the first timee because you got a free buffet if you signed up for the players club and the buffet is really good especially on seafood night. The location isn't convenient to the strip unless you live out that way or traveling to CA. They do have a nice poker room but that's not enough to get to Drive 15 miles but it is right off of 15. It is a nice casino with lots of player club promotions
Good casino and very good restaurants. Located on freemont street with tons of entertainment and drinks. The rooms are clean and housekeeping is good. Very busy place and non stop movement of people. I believe at the time we were staying in the casino it was a 75% to 25% Asian ratio. They must promote very well overseas.
Nice place. I had visited one of the restaurant in this hotel. Very authentic chinese with great customer service
Great place to play on Fremont St. We played here for a few hours. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dun games to play.
For not being on the strip this place is pretty great. The staff was really accommodating and made check in simple and fast. The rooms are spacious with modern decor and very well lit. They also have a shark tank. And its on freemont so there tons going on outside.
Beautiful and complete with a casino, food court, shops, gondola ride, spa, gym, and so much more.
Valet, check-in, and check-out were all a breeze with the super helpful staff who were available for assistance during a busy Thanksgiving holiday weekend. We really appreciate the great service!
