From day one of our contacts with Goldberg Group there were no problems. They are responsive, polite and professional but more then that they all actually care about making the transfer as comfortable as possible ....and they did !! I will definitely recommend them to all of my friends.
I left 4 message with no returned call. Finally after the fourth message I got a TEXT back saying that I would have to speak with someone else. Very unprofessional. I paid a $45 application fee and couldn't get the common decency of a phone call back? We really believe it had to do with the people who were interested in renting the house were in recovery. We understand...unfortunately it's happens too often.
Scammy application process. Both you and your spouse have to pay a separate application fee. None of this is mentioned when they ask you to fill out an application or on the site to fill out an application. _ Sketchy business practices for sure.

Highly recommend Dave and his group. Dave provided property management services for us for 3 years and then was the listing agent for the sale of our house in Silver Spring. Dave and his team were great throughout and were very attentive to some trying issues with tenants in our property. When we decided to sell, Dave oversaw all aspects including setting up the staging of the property with another company. We had an offer in 2 days of listing for sale. On top of all of that, Dave is a very nice guy!
I would recommend Goldberg Group Property Management. In my case the tenants terminated contract early and Goldberg did a great job representing my interest in that case ensuring I was appropriately compensated for early termination.
Their marketing and tenant screening ensured that I got good tenants. That is critical when renting a house. They were supposed to do walkthroughs every six months. I never received feedback as to whether that was done and the results. So that would be a suggestion for improvement. Also Dave Goldberg included in the property management agreement an exclusive right for him to be a listing broker in the case that I decided to sell the house. I did and he was tremendous as a real estate agent. His ideas and advice in preparation to sell the house were 5 star on a scale of 5. I feel GPM provided tremendous value to me both as a property manager and as a real estate agent. I would highly recommend.
I used the Goldberg Group for over 5 years on my rental property and for the most part never had an issues. They found quality tenants who signed multiyear agreements and left the place (overall) in pretty good shape. I just recently sold the property and I leverage their services for the sale and I couldn't be happier. The transaction was was very quick and they handled everything except my signature - highly recommended!
Dave and his team were great examples of what a property management team should be. Knowledgeable, responsive, and they keep the property owner's goals in mind when making recommendations. I was a renter of the same property from 2015 to April 2020. The company did not follow through on some requests or was slow to respond, but the urgent things like a roof leak were taken care of promptly. I used one of their recommended cleaning services and received my deposit plus interest after I moved out.
I went through two very unsatisfactory management companies before finding Goldberg Group. Since they took over my property several years ago I have been very happy with them. I move frequently for the military and am often many time zones away and it's crucial to know someone competent, honest, and prompt is taking care of my property when I can't be nearby. I rented a condo from Goldberg Property Management in November, a beautiful condo in Germantown, and I must say it has been a great experience. From the leasing agent and all of the maintenance people, everyone has been wonderful to work with. The unit is a little older, so it seemed that most of the appliances were all failing. Anytime I placed a work order to have them fixed or replaced, they were extremely accommodating and made it very convenient for me to be home when the workmen came out. A freezer part broke last week, and John the repairman was so pleasant and efficient, it renewed my faith in good service. I am so pleased with the service I have received from Goldberg, I would recommend renting a unit from them to anyone. Thank you guys for the great service!

Hiring Dave Goldberg and his group to help us manage our childhood home as a rental was one of the best decisions we possibly could have made. He and his group have been a dream to work with, as we ve found them all to be personable, professional, and incredibly responsive. I talked to other home-owners as well as other rental management companies over several months when we were looking for help, and all three of those things seem to set them apart from other management companies. However, their knowledge and experience may be what makes me the most grateful to have found them. Maybe because they aren t part of a larger franchise, and because Dave and his group have a lot of experience working together with properties in Montgomery County, they are a cohesive team that handles everything seamlessly. Also, initially, the house needed a lot of work, but Dave and his recommended contractor had great suggestions and accomplished a tremendous amount for less than we anticipated. (I almost want to move back in, as it s never looked this good, and the basement- also remodeled and adorable- has never been this dry!) I can t recommend the Goldberg Group highly enough.

Dave and his Team have been amazing from Beginning to end. I rented my house with Goldberg property management for 4.5 years. They take care of everything for you from repairs to tax statements with a commission rate that is unbeatable. From the start I found Dave to be a straight shooter and an honest person who really is looking out for his client's best interest. When it was ready to sell my house, Dave also stepped in and helped me do that as well. He knows the market and my property the best so it was a super easy process in selling my house through him. His commission from selling my house was amazingly low and generous from what others have offered. I know this review sounds too good but it's my honest impression. Give him a shot! I would definitely work with him again if I had property in MD. So naturally I highly recommend his services to family and anyone who wants peace of mind, good value and an honest rental experience.

Even though we had tenants in the house that could not accommodate many showings, he not only secured an offer but got us the price we were looking for.

I have had few dealings with property managers and my experience with Goldberg is mixed. The owner, Dave Goldberg, is responsive and helpful. He once got in his car right away and drove to the house to let me in after I locked myself out . Things get done fairly quickly and the contractors that I've had so far got their jobs done quickly and well. The glitch is that if your problem is small as a tenant it is big to you and you need someone to come and deal with it. I have found the maintenance people who work for Goldberg are pretty mediocre and sometimes just don't show up. We've had problems with small things like locks on windows and doors, ceiling fans that don't turn off, and they have never been addressed. The new maintenance team notified a week before Thanksgiving about a loose ceiling fan did nothing even though I was concerned it was unsafe for a house full of people.
I rented a property from the Goldberg Group for 3 years. Their person in charge of all the maintenance requests, Denzel, was amazing. He responded quickly and got the issues resolved as soon as he could. Lena, Dave, and Natalie were all great to work with as well. I would definitely rent from them again!
I'm active duty AF and moved into the area over a christmas break. GGPM was very helpful in expediting all the paperwork and everything needed for our move. We were able to get movies into the home we chose quickly and without any issues. They have kept in close contact with us during the first month to make sure that everything in our home is comfortable and as expected. They're always professional to deal with in person, via email and over the phone, and I would recommend them to coworkers, friends and family.
I chose this company to provider PM services for a condo in Bethesda. They had it on the market fast and it was rented within 3 weeks, this is wonderful especially since the condo was available at the start of the slow fall/winter. They were professional to work with and was helpful with being candid with us about the prospective tenants. I appreciate having such a positive experience.
I accompanied my girlfriend to view an apartment in Palisades - the first apartment she viewed in DC. The agent, Sam, was very unprofessional and rude. He arrived with a change in price, claimed that the apartment had already been professionally cleaned when it was in a horid state, and spent the entire time with us texting on his phone. It is better to go to a more costly agency/apartment in Georgetown where, at least, you will be treated with respect and professionalism.
I ve had a great experience with Goldberg Property Management. David Goldberg has been responsive, on top of things, and very easy to work with. He and his entire staff have always been professional and proactive. I have been a homeowner for 25+ years and needed to rent temporarily. I wasn t sure what this experience would be like, as I have typically been the owner of my own properties and have rented them to others. I have never had a property manager handling any of my properties that has done as good of a job as Dave Goldberg has done with the property I have rented. I would absolutely recommend him going forward and will use him myself for any future home purchases, property rentals, etc.

Astonishingly bad. There was no formal check in| check out process for tenants. His contractor caused more damage to the property. In the end, having them manage our rental property was a very expensive experience for us.
