Went in for a hair trim with Sylvia that was supposed to be easy and came out with a hack job. It was my first time there. Won t be going back to Sylvia, that s for sure.

I gave the salon a try about two years ago with Michele, a curly hair senior hair dresser and don t get me wrong - Michele is amazing at it and she was the reason to keep visiting the salon. However, truly horrible experience was to schedule an appointment a week ago with Michele, and on the day of it, the front desk lady let s me know that the appointment was actually made with a different stylist Rachel??! So Michele is fully booked and my special plans for the day are ruined. Such experience won t have me revisit again and I rarely write reviews but it s truly disappointing that front desk don t keep track of who your stylist is and can make such mistake, on top of that saying that happened before that they misheard the name over the phone. Women with curly hair will understand that you don t trust ANYONE to do your hair, especially a haircut and a blow dry on your anniversary day.

Quality stylists....been there for years, they know what their doing. Always leave with a great cut. She Cori or Chris. My favs!

Great salon with talented hair stylists and a clean, nice atmosphere. They have a nice waiting area in the front where you are offered a beverage while you wait. Loved the long head massage and hair wash before I got my hair cut! Definitely my go-to salon and location can't be beat right on King Street in Old Town.

Amazing color amazing cut by an absolute professional and perfectionist!

Zero stars! Zoe ruined my hair. Worst experience I have ever had in my 40 years. I just asked her to trim the ends and specifically said do not texturize too much (asked for a little thinning out because I have very thick hair) as I was growing my hair out. She pulled out men's electric clippers, without discussing or asking me beforehand, and began running clipper through my hair. I said no stylist had ever thinned out my hair that way (I was very nervous but trying to be polite and give her benefit of doubt). She hacked my hair...it's chopped, uneven and now totally frizzy. A dog groomer could have done a better job. She actually asked me twice if my hair looked even. She has no business cutting hair and charging $85 for it. I'm furious.

Pretty good Brasilian blowout service. I liked the stylist who treated my hair but was put off by the loose dogs in a professional salon. I made a surprised face when I saw one upstairs to which I received an ugly facial expression from the owner of the salon and dogs. I could've used a heads up when I made my appointment because I would've chosen a different place. I have strong dog hair allergies and think its unprofessional to have pets at a place of business in general.

I was recommended this place and had high hopes. I don t like leaving bad google reviews, I really don t. I m giving it two stars only because the people who worked there were nice. I showed the lady cutting my hair a picture of what I usually had done and asked her to do my roots and tone + a trim. The only noticeable difference was the trim. I spent $300 total and there is ZERO difference to my roots or brassiness. Zero. I feel like I got swindled. Bleach blondes- this is not worth it!

I haven t even had my hair done here in over a year but I can t stop thinking about how Raquel has revived my hair twice. I m a natural light blonde and ruined my own hair by dyeing it black. (Teenaged years..) She helped me phase it out on two separate occasions and It came out AMAZING both times. She was pouring sweat both times by the time she was finished and my heart broke for her because my hair is so curly and thick but she did such a beautiful job and never even complained. Bless this woman. 50/10.

My usual barber, Tawny Bottiger, switched to this location recently from the Gentleman s Quarters. The shop is great, and I will keep coming back because Tawny always provides a very patient and high quality cut. Will enjoy returning to this location.

Thank you for the WONDERFUL stylists and easy location in Olde Towne. Parking is tricky. Appointments usually take longer than expected and the prices for services are known only after you get them. My costs change at every season but I adore my stylist. Just have to tolerate the oddity of a dog running around randomly yapping at customers.
