Friendly staff and fantastic honey (and much more)! I'm glad they're also an online retailer which means I can get some of that awesome Meadow Foam honey later in the season after I return home. It really does taste like marshmallows

I love going to GloryBee. I use them as my primary source for raw honey, but they have a lot more. They sell honey and other sweet syrups, they sell bees wax, soap making ingredients including the glycerin and scents, and they also sell bee keeping supplies and even bees.

This is a cool gem in Eugene! They have a TON of honey and honey related products. Their honey is good. Just be warned their honey comes from across the US and internationally (such as Europe). Their Willamette Valley Meadowfoam honey is really, really good. It has the flavor of marshmallows, vanilla, and cream, with a bit of a smoke and earth finish. It is GREAT in homemade cups of chai. The RAW Montana White Clover honey is also impeccable. It has a delicate flavor but is to die for. This place is a must for anyone in town!

I've been buying my Organic Raw Clover Honey from GloryBee for few years. I always loved what I received. Unfortunately, I'm very disappointed this time. I bought two 1 gallon bucket, one for me and one as a gift. The honey is from Brazil. It's very runny like something else had been added to it. Very sugary like you are taking spoons of sugar. Doesn't taste honey at all. I've never experience this before even with super market products. The costumer service wasn't helpful either. I understand honey is based on what bees eat and produce. Because of that I'm spectacle of what the bees had been feed for this honey. Sugar? Don't buy this now. Perhaps wait this fall. I don't like to write bad review but I thought this would be helpful for readers.

I use glory be for most of my beekeeping supplies, their prices are good and the people are super friendly.. Except for one lady in the office that answers the phone.. She is not friendly at all! Glory bees products are of good quality And very convenient as they have both online ordering available and a retail store outlet at their Eugene location. I recommend highly

They a great selection of products and equipment for hives. But unlike other Bee supply stores that offer free shipping for 75 dollars or more. Glory Bee offers it for 125 dollars or more, so I tried to purchase some things for my hives that was over 125. They still wanted me to pay for the shipping because it weighed more and cost them alittle more then what they were willing to pay for to send it to me. Like I mentioned before, great selection of products but just the small things are actually free shipping. If you buy enough of them??

I have resided in Lane County since 1994 and moved into town for an Lane Community College Degree in computer designed construction. In 1998 I started on the path of a bee keeper through a short lived experience with bees in my younger years. Glory Bee started me on this path and although I pick up all my supplies direct from 3 different retail stores as GB expanded. i am just a backyard farmer and I am training my neighborhood to discontinue pesticides on property they control. So Thank you Glory Bee for everything and more.

Sold us material without specifying that it could not be returned, were unhelpful in terms of information for disposal of the non-returnable material, and was generally flippant when asked questions regarding the purchased materials. Know what you need before going in.

The staff is AWESOME!!! Friendly, EXTREMELY knowledgeable and ever so helpful. The bee classes were very informative and helped a lot. As we think of more questions, they're always great to give us answers. You can also get a 50# bag of sugar to feed your bees for $30 !!! Good people. Go see them soon!

Beware diseased bees! I purchased a box of bees during bee days in 2020. 28 days later bees started coming out of the hive with deformed wing virus. Glory bee comped me Boric Acid pattys and I treated them. In August I treated them again with Thymol. It s Thanksgiving day and bees are coming out of the hive without wings. Really a heart breaker as all my equiptment was brand new. I wired the frames and installed wax foundation. I have been a beekeeper for 10 years and have never experienced such poor quality bees. Glory Bee told me the bees had been treated before the purchase but that wasn t the case. I would give the staff a 5 star rating. They were great. As of March 2021 the hive has perished.

I will never recommend this company. The customer service is horrible!!!! Also, I purchased some products online, which said instock and they really weren't instock. Someone contacted me to tell me they couldn't send my order, but they also said they didn't know when I will receive my refund. That didn't sit well with me. I still haven't gotten my money back and no products. I am not happy at all.

I bought the GloryBee raw and unfiltered California orange blossom honey from a local supermarket and when I opened it, it didn't seem like real honey - the texture and smell were off, and the flavor lingered too long. I ran several tests on it that I found online and it didn't pass any of the tests that I ran that indicate pure honey. I threw the entire jar out. I'm a big fan of honey for health reasons and I've done these same types of tests with other honey and most did pass the tests (a few did not). Here are the tests that I ran: 1) put the honey in the bottom of a bowl with some water and swirl and if it's pure, you'll soon see a beehive pattern appear in the honey 2) burn the honey - pure honey will light 3) heat the honey - pure honey will not foam and will carmelize quickly 4) pure honey will not dissolve readily in water.

Great place, exceptional honey.

Great place, exceptional honey.

Also - it's worth mentioning that the "Vandersys Family") reviewer is apparently a competing honey producer (Vander Sys Family - Bear Mountain Honey) just kind of on here slandering this place. A quick Google search cleared that one up.

I visited GloryBee for the first time today in hopes for some local honey to help with my and my husband's allergies. An employee by the name of Jennifer ended up helping me and she was both very friendly and knowledgeable. She pointed out items I wouldn't have known to look for without direction and I left extremely happy and excited to try out what I ended up purchasing. Jennifer's customer service definitely stood out and made my first visit there a very pleasant one.

This used to be an amazing place to shop. As they have grown they have completely lost an interest in customer service. If you choose to shop here expect a return call in about a week, various restrictions on payment options, and various difficulties making a purchase due to all their corporate policy. Closed our business account and now shopping somewhere else that actually wants our business.

Remember the old saying, If it's too goog to be true it probably is...I purchased a 40 pound pail of Glory Bee's alleged "tropical blossoms" honey for $120. I was skeptical at first but decided to give it a shot anyway. It arrived today and as soon as I opened it I immediately suspected that the honey was fake. Keep in mind that I am an experienced mead maker who knows honey. I decided to do my fail safe tests to either confirm or deny my suspicion. I dropped a tsp of the "honey" in a glass of water and it totally dissolved without any stirring. Pure honey will not dissolve in water. I then placed a small amount of the "honey" on a paper napkin and it immediately melted right thru. Pure honey when placed on a paper towel or napkin remains solid on the napkin. I also placed 2 TBSP on the "honey" and put it in a microwave safe dish and heated it for about 1 minute and it foamed up instead of crystalizing. Fake honey will just foam up and fall apart. I then called Glory Bee's customer service to report my concerns and the lady on the phone did not even care. She first stated that the honey comes from a 3rd party which isn't my problem. She refused to even hear my concerns. I even offerred to send live videos of me opening the item as well as of the tests performed to no avail. She did offer to send me some type of certification in writing stating that it's pure honey. I told her that does not prove anything especially since Glory Bee doesn't even produce this stuff. I will be filing a claim with my CC company for Fraud. Do not purchase "honey" from Glory Bee.

It's true, most of their products come from China and other Asian countries and they re-label them as their own product. What a joke. I have no respect for that. The appeal is good, as long as the shopper doesn't know where the merchandise REALLY comes from.

The problem I have with this company is honesty which comes down to poor customer service. I question and cannot trust the claims they make about their products due to the unscrupulous manor with which my order was dealt.
My order was canceled by the merchant due to a shipping mix up that apparently occurred on their own website. Meanwhile I was expecting the order to arrive today so called only to be requested to reorder the exact same product with a $30 increase before shipping. (Product increase took place May 1st.)
I had ordered a frozen product which requires two day shipping according to their website. After the website had automatically selected two day shipping with no other option but overnight I introduced another product. The website was very clear that the additional product would require to also be shipped out with two day shipping. I was certain two day shipping was selected for the entire shipment yet the website was giving glitches throughout this entire exchange. I had to keep redoing the order to keep from having extra items added to my cart that I didn't order. What I mean is items would double so if I said I wanted one I would get two if I said I wanted two I would get four.
In the end I was certain in my imagination that I had placed this order with two day shipping. In our call today the company told me they had sent me an email about the cancellation. I only have the order confirmation email I have not found a cancellation email.
Having expected the order to arrive today I admit to being disappointed in the authenticity of this company.
