Homely place to stay and enjoy the serene environment

Fantastic bird life. you may think that you are in national park, whereas you are at the heart of Nairobi city. Great service. keep up.

Seems like someone is skimming a little too much off the top of this place. Service is atrocious. The rooms are blah if they're working correctly. The door to the bathroom was broken as was the phone. They charged us for water. All in all would rather stay somewhere that doesnt have the pretense of luxury that actually functions.

A peaceful stay with great amenities. Not that much on the food menu to select from and the WiFi is not strong enough to get proper work done - which makes sense as it is a golf course.

The Residences is a nice to place to say in Karen. The rooms are large and very comfortable and the staff is friendly. The only quirk is the hotel's connection to Karen Country Club. It can be good or bad depending on your preference. All the facilities --like food-- is there, which is a 0.6 km walk down a gravel path. They have a golf cart to run you back and forth, but when its raining, it can be a hassle. That said, I quite enjoy the walk in the morning to breakfast. I've stayed here twice, the first time in January 2018. At that point food service was pretty slow, but they improved significantly. I've had no delays in service at all this time, and the food is quite good. Overall, a nice, quiet, secluded place to stay. Highly recommend.

The residences are a beautiful place to stay. Was at the club and decided to have a look at them. Beautiful exterior and interior. Prices are high. There's a weekend package that includes a round of golf or two if you are interested.

A private place that has pretty much most if not everything and part of karen country club. Great staff and services! They are keen on security. Love it!

I rarely give 4 stars but this place does not offer you anything less. The lush lawns welcome you as you get in, with an awesome ambience, clean fresh air in the forest-like set-up. The cottages are amazing and priced well too. Just in case you need a getaway not far from nairobi. A few pics on the review as teasers. A detailed review later..

So serene! The staff is very friendly, most especially the room stewards!!! A great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city!

Stayed at the villa and was great. A pleasant place away from the hustle with lot of trees around. The restaurant is adjoining the golf course.
