I am a fan of the ordinary. Ordinary good food prepared with quality ingredients and superior recipies. It does not have to be exotic or innovative. It does have to be tasty and well prepared. The Kozy Nook has that. I have enjoyed several of their many lunch and dinner choices and my only complaint was when I ordered the "Baked Stuffed Fish" and discovered when it was served that it had a marinara sauce on top. I was surprised that the menu did not mention the sauce. I do not eat tomato with fish. As it was, my husband and I switched our meals so, I enjoyed his broiled fish and he enjoyed my baked stuffed fish. The waitress did offer to change my order, but as my husband likes the sauce we were fine.

Great, inexpensive breakfast. The fish & chips is my favorite in the area. The only downside is that we occasionally get really lousy service. They seem to ignore people they don't know in favor of regular customers.

Excellent, home-cooked style food with a large menu to choose from. VERY reasonably priced menu but if you drink beer your gonna pay ($5 for a bottle of Sam Adams October fest)! They've got the room...would be nice to see a larger bar area with more cocktail options at fair prices. VERY "kozy" as the name says...we'll DEFINATELY be back!

I'm guessing most of the reviews were from the 70 plus crowd that have no taste buds. Aside from lying about the "real" mashed potatoes that tasted like generic instant, the cacoila was a sodium bomb, the meat sauce on the hot dogs was black from being reheated at least 3 days in a row, the fountain soda tasted like weakly flavored water, the clam cakes tasted good but were very doughy from not being cooked enough, the chowder was clam flavored potato soup, the only thing truly satisfying was the clam boil stew. I will never recommend or visit this place again.

We go to this restaurant regularly, about once every month or two. The food is good and the waitresses are very courteous. The last time I had their salmon pie and it was great. That deserved a fifth star.

We enjoy to go out. Yesterday we arrived in this fine restaurant which friends recommended to us. We enjoyed a delightful time there with high-qulity meal and an efficient stuff and a great chief cook. We put this venue in our list and we will no doubt go again soon. We deeply recommend.

Pick up order took twice as long as told at 4 pm when dead, the server working the counter seemed to not know what condiments people would use with different foods, and then mocked me in a sing song voice as I left. Food was decent.
