The Residences is a nice to place to say in Karen....

The Residences is a nice to place to say in Karen. The rooms are large and very comfortable and the staff is friendly. The only quirk is the hotel's connection to Karen Country Club. It can be good or bad depending on your preference. All the facilities --like food-- is there, which is a 0.6 km walk down a gravel path. They have a golf cart to run you back and forth, but when its raining, it can be a hassle. That said, I quite enjoy the walk in the morning to breakfast. I've stayed here twice, the first time in January 2018. At that point food service was pretty slow, but they improved significantly. I've had no delays in service at all this time, and the food is quite good. Overall, a nice, quiet, secluded place to stay. Highly recommend.
