So frustrated with our experience. Booked a Europe vacation and waswtold to purchase a throw-away phone so we could call from Europe with 24 hours of arrival (required or room would be unreserved) After lots of stress finding a phone, no one answered again and again. Called corporate and was told it was more of a guideline than required. Promised at purchase they bend over backwards to meet requests including trading condos. Only taken two vacations in five years because inventory is never available. In just the last two weeks- Agent told me their website is completely inaccurate and admits it lists locations they can't send people. Received a letter saying they are updating technology, and asked me to schedule a meeting to learn about it with the promise of receiving a Kindle Fire. Called to schedule and they reacinded the invitation upon finding out I am now divorced. They REFUSED multiple times to schedule a meeting with me. Emailed to ask an agent a question about bedroom numbers and she immediately reserved the vacation for me under the wrong name.

I feel like I was scammed in my initial meeting with them. It is so frustrating and I wish we had never purchased it. I travel with out them cheaper and with less stress to locations I actually like.

VERY PUSHY!! They hooked us in with the free vacation if we listen to their program that is supposed to make it more affordable to go on vacation for our family. We supposedly had to make a refundable deposit that would be refunded if there was no damage to the property, OR when a year passes of not using the free week stay . But if you are a larger family, you pay another $275 fee. We have 5 children so we had to pay a larger fee which is wrong to begin with because this was supposed to be a more affordable option . We scheduled our vacation for this month. The lady was quick to call and ask for our card information for the payment.

Our youngest son (16 months) was just in the ER/hospital for 3 days with Bronchiolitis. He was on oxygen for nearly a week and has just now finally begun to recover. I explained that there is absolutely no way we can travel over 15 hours away so soon with him just having been in the hospital and on oxygen. They do not care . And guess what? There is no refund, and they will not reschedule our week stay vacation even though we have medical documentation proving that our son has been severely sick, so we should not travel with him! No phone call back, but I did receive an email (picture below).

Not to mention, this program meant to save us money on vacations actually has an over $12,000 buy in. Don t waste your time nor be scammed by the facade of an affordable
vacation getaway for your family !

High pressure sales for a vacation club. Do not buy. Club club claims it can save you money on Hotels, Airfare and all resort(condominium) stays are $229 for 7 days, all for a one time lifetime fee of $3500 and a $389/year fee for the years that you book through the club.. After looking up the membership rates for hotels there was a $2 - $4 savings compared to Priceline and Booking.com, airfare was similair with only a few $ savings over other sites, I guess legally they can say they are saving you money but nothing significant, at that rate would take years to break even on a $3500 membership fee. I looked up a resort stay in China, a and there was an additional fee for about $690 on top of the $229 mentioned above, after looking up the resort itself a night cost between $50-$100, if you do the math through the club you would pay around $900 , on your own would be $350 -$700 for 7 days. They claim it's not a high pressure sales, but if you don't want to buy they will try to infer that you value money over your wife, and since it is only a couples only attendance it puts doubts in your wife's mind. So now if you don't buy you could and probably will have marital issues. If you do attend schedule for a weekend day, because that will give you time to go home and compare the club savings against Priceline, Booking.com etc, and give you enough time to cancel within the 3 day period allowable by law.

I ve been part of several cruise groups organized through Global Connections. They are fantastic to work with. And I m saying this as a former travel agent. I ve gotten the attention I need. And the group values adds have been fun. In fact I like them so much that I m having them take over a personal cruise booking I made for the upcoming year.

I paid a lifetime membership for discounts on products and travel and they have discontinued a lot of the benefits and refused to refund my money.

Steer clear.

It s sad that there are so many scams Like this in this country.

I've had my membership for 10 years and have never been able to use it. I was scammed into this when I was in college. Fast forward 10 years later I have two small children and work full-time, it's very hard to find time and money to vacation. Well I'm finally able to go on vacation, so I call Global Connections and was told that there's nothing available during the time that I want to go. I spoke with a supervisor, I believe her name was Danny and she was rude and very insensitive to the fact that they have nothing available, she told me that I should have booked a year in advance... very rude!!! I'm going to take a look at all of the paperwork they provided me with back then and possibly sue for my money back. Who knows when I'll be able to take another vacation, they've completely ruined my vacation. Steer clear of this company, just do air bnb... these time shares and vacation memberships are scams. I'm completely disappointed!!!!!!!!!!
