Jennifer, the owner of Glitter Hair Salon, is a one-of-a-kind woman. Rarely do you meet a true kindred spirit in this world. She defines the term. Jennifer went above and beyond to help me, a complete stranger, during her personal time. She truely cares about her clients and sees them as people and not as dollar signs. She has made a client for life and I will refer her, and her staff, to anyone and everyone in the future. I wish there were more women in the world like her. Thank you so much Jennifer. You not only gave me a fantastic new look, you gave me a much needed boost in self esteem. You can't put a price on that. I will be returning.

Absolutely amazing place n people.. Outstanding customer service.. Listens to what you want done..Emily is very attentive to what you want and sincere.. She did an absolutely amazing job on my hair.. Even made my mother feel at home brought her back to sit down beside me made her n I coffee.. Everyone in there was friendly n fantastic.. Did not push u to buy products from them n didn't rush u out the door when finished.. By far the best hair salon I have ever been to..

I just had my hair cut and styled by Shelby at Glitter and I love what she did! It took several years off me and gave me back the youthful look I needed. My hair is thick and curly but looked so drab when I came in. Now it's full of life and beautiful! I highly recommend the shop and Shelby!

The staff is very friendly, making an appointment is easy and for the service the price isn't bad. I have hair cutting anxiety and Emily listens and definitely doesn't want you to walk away having a hair panic attack

I've had two consultations with two stylists over the last 2 weeks. My hair is difficult and in bad shape currently. Both stylists (Emily and Shelby) gave me excellent service. I did get a chemical service, haircut and style with Shelby yesterday and I am very pleased. The atmosphere was very relaxed. This is my first experience here and will be returning for color treatment. Shelby did an excellent job!!

I am new to the area so I took a chance with Glitter Hair Salon. My appointment was with Shelby and she was absolutely wonderful! The staff was very friendly and it was a relaxing atmosphere. I went in looking for a new style and color with highlights. I could not be happier with the results. I definitely recommend Glitter Hair Salon. If Shelby is available go she her!

Emily made me feel like the most important person in the room! She listened patiently and began cutting, although I insisted she cut shorter, she did her magic. I have alopecia AND fine hair. This is the BEST haircut since I cannot remember when. Pink and glitter... my favorites....YAY!! Patron as long as I live here. Make YOUR appointment, you'll be happy you did. :-)

I had two friends recommend me to this salon and particularly, Jennifer. My last haircut, the stylist really messed up my layers and gave me an uneven haircut. Upon going to this salon, Jennifer was very helpful, friendly, and listened to me. She discussed exactly what she going to do before she even started. Throughout the entire process, she explained everything she was doing. She also gave great tips on how to style my hair without it looking frizzy. She colored, cut, and styled my hair. I ABSOLUTELY love it!!!! I highly recommend Glitter Salon!

Emily did a great job, cut it exactly like I asked! She gave me some tips on how to treat the conditioner and hard water build up in my roots. She was super friendly and Jen seemed nice as well. Love the pink glitter wall! Will be back!

Glitter Hair Salon totally saved my hair that was highly inappropriate for work being a neon red. Thanks to Jennifer that works there; she transformed my hair from crazy red to a much more natural tone of violet. My hair feels much, more healthier than before I went into the salon! I'm amazed at my transformation and their decor there! It's so pretty and a very stylish layout! Aside from hair they also offer manicures, pedicures, facials, and massages! I don't know about you, but I can always use a massage! Ladies if you need a day out, Glitter Hair Salon is the place to go!

Got my hair cut here a few weeks ago and was devastated by the results. It was almost nothing like what I was asking for and the layering was not only dramatic to say the least but was not executed in a flattering way as to my hair texture(I have fine hair so any mistakes made are very clearly seen and there's no body to my hair so it lays flat which enhances the errors). She made me feel very confident that she knew what she was doing by the things she was saying but the end result was very upsetting (there was a lot of crying involved). I could have went back to have her fix it but the trust was gone and my hair was already much shorter than I was used to so I couldn't afford to lose more without it upsetting me more. Reviews I read were great but the experience definitely was not. Would have given a one star but she was nice and the place was clean so have to give credit for that.

Went in scared to try a new salon but I had to because it had been 7 months since my last trim. This was the most thought out hair cut ever. Teia was excellent and miticulous. Worth every penny.

Emily is AMAZING! After moving to the area, I spent a lot of time trying to find a salon where I felt comfortable. At the time, I had a mid-length angled bob and struggled finding someone who could make my extremely fine, straight hair look good. After seeing pictures of their work on Facebook, I booked an appointment with Emily right away.

The entire staff is seriously the best. Everyone makes you feel so welcomed and comfortable. I've only worked with Emily, but have seen Jennier and Teia's beautiful work in person and am incredibly impressed.

Emily is without a doubt the best stylist I've ever worked with. She's AMAZING at taking my ideas and images and giving me exactly what I want. I've seen her about 6 times in the past year and half and walk out thrilled with my hair every single time. I cannot recommend Emily and the entire team at Glitter Hair Salon enough!

Exceptional talent, and I just joined the staff! Every person here has amazing skills and the Salon offers the finest products, dry winter skin, hair issues, waxing - the skillset and the knowledge and the caring atmosphere take it over the top!

Love it! Every time I go Jennifer takes sick good care of me! From a wax to a color to a cut she is who I want working on me. I'm getting married June 2014 and she will be the one to do or hair! Love her costumer service, commitment to excellence and amazing personally! Found my salon for years!

Jennifer has cut my hair and done my hi-lites for years but she just did my hair for fall/winter and I let her do her thing and just go for it. I let her do what she wanted and really take me out of my comfort zone. It looks awesome! I LOVE IT!

Jennifer did an amazing job on my haircut. It is hard to find a right hair stylist for my Asian hair. I used to go back to China to get it done. Jennifer Cooper at Glitter Hair Salon is AWESOME! She's not only very friendly, but incredibly knowledgeable. She asks for your input and what you want the end result to be, but offers suggestions based on her vast experience. I not only love my haircut, but she also answered all my questions about color that alleviated any of my concerns so I'll be calling her for that too!

I'm writing a review for Glitter Hairsalon from my husband's account. May I mention first that I had a wonderful experience beginning to end. I was scheduled to have my haircut with one of Jennifer's associates but instead Jennifer cut my hair. It's been approximately two months ago, on a Saturday afternoon but as I remember we had inclement weather and Jennifer was so courteous as to give her associates a day off. Jennifer personally called me and gave me the option to still come in or reschedule. I was excited and desperately needed a cut so I made the decision to still come in. When I arrived Jennifer was so welcoming with her genuine smile and personality. She was a delight to be around! I'm sure that her team is a delight to be around too. I plan on scheduling my two daughters to come in very soon. I certainly would trust the team to do a wonderful job on all three of us girls.

Today was my first time at Glitter Hair Salon and I absolutely LOVED IT!!! I went from straggly, long, "hombred"(yes I mistakenly did it at home) hair to beautiful healthy hair with caramel high-lights and low- lights,which I absolutely love. Jennifer Cooper cut, foiled and styled my hair beautifully as well as making me feel comfortable and special all while maintaining a professional atmosphere. I have soft, wavy, very thick hair as well as an extremely high density, but surprisingly enough Jennifer concurred my hair with ease. And did I mention she waxed my eyebrows. Generally I have not liked big, "frou-frou" salons, and I have found small salons to be gossipy. However Glitter Hair Salon manages to keep the professionalism from larger salons while keeping the personable touch that comes with a small salon. They manage to do so without drama and gossip. I truly recommend Glitter Hair Salon to everybody!! :) So lets all get GLITTERED!!!!

This salon is a hidden treasure in Martinsburg and I am happy I found it. From the moment one walks through the door, the friendly and professional staff welcomes you. I have finally found a hair stylist instead of a person who cuts hair. I highly recommend Maggie. She will make you look and feel like a million bucks!

We loved Amy. She certainly highly recommended for my daughter's first hair cut and she did great. All the staff were friendly and professional. My daughter had fun and beamed about her haircut. They also provided drinks and the decor was playful fun. Very appropriate for a little girl or any woman.

I'm always a little paranoid when getting my hair cut and especially when finding a new stylist. I did my research, found lots of great reviews for Glitter, saw some nice work on their website, so I decided to give them a try. I wanted sort of an alternative style cut with lots of layers and razoring. I spoke to Jennifer (the owner) about it while making the appointment and she recommended a stylist for me. She also said that if the stylist or I felt worried that she would be happy to give a consultation to make sure everyone was comfortable with the plan. In the end BOTH stylist ended up cutting my hair. My stylist Emily hadn't done that sort of layering on longer hair before and wanted to see how Jennifer would do it. Emily did a great consultation, was very upfront and honest, super friendly and polite. Because of this fabulous teamwork and cooperation, I feel like I got a really great hair cut! Love the drama free atmosphere. And apparently they're constantly learning, drawing from each other, and continuing education in hair - which is the way it SHOULD be! I'm looking forward to seeing Emily again in the future, because I'm pretty sure I've found my permanent salon

At the end of the workday I had a pre-cut meeting with the owner to discuss my desires. Jennifer even offered to stay and cut my hair that evening. The day I came in for my appointment I was very pleased with the professionalism, competence, and overall impression of the salon. I received the BEST cut I've had in over 12 years!!! I have thick hair and have been cutting 2-4 inches off every month or so since arriving in WV, just hoping to fine a salon that can properly thin and style my hair. Well, I have found my salon and hairdresser!! YES! totally recommend this salon to anyone who suffers from super thick hair that also has cowlicks and swirls (aren't I special?) and cannot find a trustworthy hair stylist who will not only listen to you, but is extremely competent in her trade. Lilli did a fantastic job with my cut! She cut each section of curls and didn't comb it out first! She's done a great job coloring my hair before too. If you are looking for a great curly cut, go see Lilli!

I am new to the area so needed to find a new hairdresser to color and cut my hair. I used reviews to help me decide on the Glitter Hair Salon so I made an appointment with Jennifer. I now feel I have successfully made the move as I have found a great person to do my hair, Jennifer. The Salon is clean and professional. Jennifer listened intently as I described what I liked done with my hair. She offered suggestions if I asked and we had a nice time going over what she would do. I didn't feel like I was rushed like I have been at other places and she made me feel she would do what I really wanted. She also is gentle and careful. The coloring was the best I have had as she was able to keep my highlights and match the color very well. The cut was great also. After setting up my next appointment I went out feeling wonderful.

I moved here a few months ago & was in search of a hairstylist. I was very satisfied with the service & feel of the salon. Jennifer is great she listens to what you need & explains what she is doing. Another thing I love it seems they space out thier appiontments well. They are never in a rush and its never overcrowded with people. I really recommend it !

I went in with about two inches of roots that needed bleached, and left with an uneven result. My roots still don't match the rest of my hair even after bleach and toner. For $120, you'd expect a much better experience. I'm not satisfied at all with what I left with.

I always hated going to get my hair cut because I've always had unpleasant experiences and no one could ever help me figure out what style would fit me. Jennifer did the opposite and helped me over come departing with my long hair. She explained everything she was doing and also gave me tips on how to style my hair. I found this salon on a whim.I loved the name and thought let's give it a go. I AM SO GLAD I DID. I can't say enough great things about Glitter...First, the shop is absolutely beautiful and always clean as can be. From the time you walk in to the time you leave, the girls of Glitter are beyond accommodating and welcoming. I have been to other salons and have felt out of the loop and I have never felt that way in this place. Secondly, the prices are beyond reasonable and you really do get what you pay for. I know some people balk at the prices of salons, but let me tell you this salon makes it worth every penny. You see the difference in not only the talent of the stylists here but also the quality of the product. Finally, my stylist from the start has been TEIA, and i cant say this enough: SHE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST. I brought a picture of what I wanted and she walks you through everything that is gonna happen. She is willing to hear your opinion and i appreciate her advice. She goes above and beyond to make what you want to become a reality. You can always count on her to listen and make you feel like a million bucks. She is so sweet and I love going to her and seeing the beautiful color and cuts she accomplishes. She is has brought my hair from blah to fabulous and I would recommend anyone to go and try Glitter and ask for Teia. You will not regret it. Thank you Teia for making my hair look amazing;)

Martinsburg NEEDS this salon! Jennifer gives you such personal and attention and care. My hair came out perfect- just the way I was hoping! She shared her thoughts and ideas and gave me just what I wanted. The salon it's self is very clean, adorable to look at, and the staff is friendly. They had taken the time to look up who was coming in so they knew my name when i walked in for my appointment. I will be going back for sure!
