Too liberal. What happened to true journalism when they report the facts only.? I don't care for your biased opinion. Allow people to make up their own mind not what you tell them to think!

They don t live up to their word, they are supposed to deliver the paper to my house. When you try to call customer service to fix the problem, they transfer you to India who doesn t have a clue about our town. Absolutely disgusting display of business.. Censored from their Facebook page over sharing conservative views and perspectives. I am no longer able to comment or share my perspective. I inquired with other like minded colleagues and they have been restricted as well. A beloved hometown newspaper turned into a liberal propaganda media machine. So sad.

I just cancelled my long held subscription to this publication. I'm tired of dealing with their inept billing department. Each billing cycle, the price increases by 30% - 40% and when you call the local number, you connect with someone in God knows where who can hardly speak English. We agreed on a semi-annual price of $122 and they send me a bill for $190. Also I might add, I had a vacation hold for the month of February that their billing department just can't seem figure out how to apply. All this, coupled with this paper's constant spewing of left leaning, liberal bias was enough for me to pull the CANCEL trigger.

So sad when a family member passes and the post star doesn't even get the obit right, spelled people's names wrong and didn't include part of what was written. Nobody bothers to return phone calls either. What a waste of 300 bucks

You re better off taking the money you would spend on this joke of a paper and burning it instead. But hey, if communism and constant whining about who s in office is your thing, then you ll love this paper!

Small town garbage. The only paper in the US that wont let u read their articles online without paying?! Thank you for keeping the community easily informed about important and potentially life threatening things. Un-real.

Horrible rag. Constantly factually incorrect and prints articles anonymously. You can't speak to anyone there because all calls are handled by a call center in Arizona. And if you ask who wrote one of these articles on social media who ever runs the account just questions why you would want to know and blocks you from their accounts.

I have put a newspaper box on my mailbox to have my paper delivered and called the post star number to advise to leave in the box. The individual I spoke with said I do not have service. Explained I have been receiving paper all along and do have service. They noted the system to place paper in box. One week later and still wet papers in the driveway I tried the online connection that promised response in 24 hours. Another week of wet papers and no response to email. Called today for third try and told would leave message with delivery supervisor. Believe will have to wait at end of driveway at 5 in the morning to advise delivery person. Would rate 0 if possible and may have to cancel subscription vs paying for wet papers I throw out. Jeff

I have received the Post Star for 50 + years. The service has gotten so bad I am probably going to cancel my subscription. On the average of at least four to five times a month I have to call the Post Star about non-delivery of my paper. It is annoying to pay for a service that doesn't seem to correct the problems they have. Beyond not receiving the paper I have to search my driveway, my yard to see where they may have thrown the paper when it is delivered. The problem is never corrected, nor is my account credited.

I regularly read several regional daily newspapers, including the Times-Union (Albany) and the Gazette Newspaper (Schenectady). The Post Star does a very decent job of covering local Southern Adirondack news fairly and completely. The Glens Falls community is fortunate to have an established media concern like the Post Star. Perfect? No, but consistent, accurate and professional.

Notified the Post Star of my new address well in advance of moving. A week+ after the move still waiting for my paper. I've called every day and nothing has been done! Two weeks of not receiving my paper, called customer service. They said they would credit my account. Still did not receive the paper, so I canceled. Got $20 back on a year's subscription with 5 months left on it and of course no credit for the missed papers!!!

It s like a CNN/DNC newspaper. There s typically a few decent local articles, which is what they should stick to, but since it s election season, they put their daily Trump bashing article on the front page.

Very politically biased, and lacks relevant and factual reports. Most of their reports are more or less just opinions of a story from a clouded mind. Skipping out on the actual facts to protect their political agenda.
Quick to publish police reports of alleged crimes, but almost never publish a story about the proved innocence. Unless they are trying to continually badger the innocent in a twisted or pointed article.
About the only thing they are good for is local obituaries...

Paper "thin" on Mondays and Tuesdays. Sports section is pathetic. No coverage, for the most part, and just box scores. Bowling gets more press than high school sports. It is a great source for gossip and personal opinions by the editorial staff. Very liberal leaning paper.

After subscribing to the Post Star for well over 25 years, I have cancelled my subscription for home delivery. I did not receive a paper for three days in a row. After contacting customer service by email (phone is a joke), a very helpful agent named Missy finally got an answer. It seems that my carrier will no longer deliver to my house, but if I want, they will deliver it to a house on my road (not near me), and I can pick it up there. Are you kidding me?!? When I signed up for home delivery, it was to deliver to MY HOUSE, every morning, not someone else's house. Neither MY CARRIER or the POST STAR had the courtesy to inform me about this travesty. I paid a lot ($260.00) for a yearly subscription. Sure didn't get what I paid for. For all their whining about losing customers, they obviously don't care AT ALL about their subscribers. I thought that maybe I would get a phone call, since I asked Missy to forward all our emails to the higher ups. Of course, no one got in touch with me. What a surprise. I DO NOT recommend the Post Star at all!!!

Newspaper claims to be hometown journalism. It is anything but. Daily anti-Trump articles recycled from the Associated Press. The two main editors are as unprofessional as they come. I ve been banned from posting comments on 5 different accounts. The editor won t publish my Letters because they make the left-wing agenda folks there look like fools. I m considering consulting a free speech attorney due to the Post Star s clearly unfair commenting policies, and censorship.
