Fantastic Arena of Sport. Great staff. If you cycle and come to Glasgow don't miss it.
Nice gym and the spa is pretty nice too but expensive
fantastic facility for track cyclists, not much use if you dont like cycling but give it a try it is exciting to watch you will probably become a fan.
Velodrome is a brilliant venue . Nothing to complain about. Welcome was great
A really nice place so it is. Went there for the first time 2 see Scottish open snooker on Wednesday 12. I lived ever single minute of it. First time I have ever seen professional snooker live
Volunteering for European Indoor Athletics championships
An amazing venue. very clean although the toilets need to be monitored more.
I went to watch the Athletics, everything was very organised. i will defiantly visit again for the spa and the gym.
Only downside are the queen's at checkouts. Brill wine selection.
Great space and has held so many great events and they offer accreditation for anyone to give the velodrome a shot.
Friendly staff. Accessible & disability friendly. The track itself is terrific.
We had a great night, good atmosphere and plenty of seating choice
Did the into class for learning to cycle on the track. Great staff, let you increase skills at your own pace which is great if you feel comfortable and don't want to hold back with the 'slowest' in the group.
Will likely do the while course and start cycling here regularly. Loved it.
Great track and atmosphere, definitely worth going along for the certification courses
Great venue for the Basketball. Worth checking out.
Superb venue...u don't realise on TV how steep the banks are at either end are or how fast the cyclists are going until u see it in real life.! Awesome!
Track is amazing, train on it all the time. Gym is also good!
Best cycling venue in Scotland full stop. After we said goodbye to Meadowbank velodrome in Edinburgh, this venue is the only option for track cycling. And it is very nice indeed - convinient location, plenty of parking, bike can be hired along with shoes and helmet. Staff are really professional and polite. Great place for amateurs and pros alike.
Hard to get into with the police blocking the roads due to football. Great basketball venue though.
Great venue. It's warm inside the Velodrome if you are visiting for the first time.
Great night at the Basket Ball watching the Rocks, Food is good for what it is :)
Visited the arena several times for various sporting events, Glasgow Rocks home stadium, home of commonwealth games badminton matches, British athletics venue.
Concession stands are very average. Sometimes they have peroni beer other times it's just Budweiser. The portion of nachos they give is anything but generous. Prices do seem to be creeping up at the concession stands.
The venue itself is magnificent. The main sports hall boasts seats in great locations, haven't sat anywhere in the main hall with a bad or restricted view. The same can be said for the small sports hall which is frequently used for BBL professional basketball games.
Lots of toilets on either side of the main sports hall, never really need to queue very long to use the toilets.
The arena is kept well maintained and reasonably clean. There is ample parking and the venue is just a short drive away from the city centre of Glasgow which is also accessible by public transport.
Staff weren't helpful and a bit rude.. good parking
Had a great night supporting the Glasgow rock's carpark was full and had to park outside but wasn't a problem.
Facilities are amazing. Was shown round the Velodrome... The staff are so passionate, helpful and knowledgeable.
Loved going to the basketball for the 1st time will hopfuly be back
Great place but food facilities leave alot to be desired.
Fantastic velodrome experience day! Loved it, staff were really helpful was a fantastic group day out. Would definitely go again
Easy to get to by car or train basic cafe helpful staff lots of parking space
Good for racing, nice to have longer home straight but not so nice when you crash.
Horrible experience, was here to watch the Snooker, if I wanted refreshments I had to actually leave my part of the venue, exit the building walk all the downstairs reenter building wait in an enormously long queue at a silly little snack bar then get all the way back, terrible experience
I wish I had pictures I could share. Fantastic arena, we went to see the Glasgow Rocks. Go Rocks!! Great big building that has a good car park, plenty of space and great access. Can't pick a fault, well maybe the food (Nacho's and hotdogs) but it suited the event. You could get lost in here easily.
An impressive stadium, especially as it's still so new and shiny. The seating is fairly comfortable and gives a good view. Parking is good and stewards were on hand to help finding spaces.
I use the gym facilities in here. They have all the up to date equipment. The staff are really noce and helpful.
Nice building but one member of staff was very rude and unhelpful. I considered making a complaint but as I don't plan to come back ever again I'd rather let my review do the talking. I came to watch the European judo open 2018 but have a bad calf strain so when I asked if I could use the elevator instead of the outside stares a female member of staff showed NO respect whatsoever and demanded that i struggle outside. God knows what she would have done if an actual disabled person showed up. Probably wrestle them to the ground.
Great stadium, parking can be a nightmare especially on match days, as it is next door to Park Head, Celtic's ground.
Good access, got in / out to easily. Olympic champions on view gotta be good
Visit to the 2018 championships. Just under 2hrs of racing. Fantastic venue, staff and seats.
Fantastic venue, only downside is that it needs an internal lift!!
Watched the galsgow rocks play, was a great evening out. The food isn't great though.
Great staff. Great track. Easy online booking. Lessons were great fun. Lots of regulars.
Brilliant place to do lots of sports and I like going here a lot because I love doing sports and good football pitches
Lovely place. Got a tour round the Velodrome although this year there was no tours scheduled. We appreciate that. Thank You.
very good indeed. be warned though if it is a cycling event they keep it very warm to increase speeds and it is boiling. well worth a visit
One of the best facilities anywhere. Top class infrastructure.
Awesome centre. Loved it there. Went for badminton. High ceilings and lot of courts.
Friendly staff and clean areas. Great basketball venue. Only negative is cafe isn't open in evening.
Fantastic arena for all different sports, easily accessible.
It is a good place for the athletes, it hosts several athletes competitions
Visited for the Glasgow Championships 2018. A great day out was had by the whole family!
Look forward to visiting again.
Fantastic location for all sports enthusiasts and those who aren't interested. Plenty of facilities to keep anyone occupied. Staff are friendly and helpful and everything is spotless.
Obviously brilliant for velodrome use.
Excellent modern stadium with fantastic parking facilities.
I race here often and have to say it is an amazing track (although the air seems to have an effect of you breathing). This review is only 3 stars however as a direct result of the security staff. They are stationed at every set of stairs, even ones that you can go down and ones that you should be able to get down. They are rude and treat you as if you are disrupting the peace.
Great facilities and staff. Great opportunity to experience riding a velodrome track.
Staff are always very welcoming / friendly / also has an amazing gym, or I'm I just being biased because it's my gym lol....no honestly
It was a great atmostphere because of the two basketball games
It was spectacular X lost for words X what an amazing experience x
I have never been in it. I drive passed it many times.
Stunnin Building. We were here to see glasgow rocks. Fantastic family night out. Good parking too
