I do love this place but sadly I wasn't there, I was at Drumpellier Country Park. Not to worry I loved that too.

Disaster of a place at the World Pipe Band Championships with grassed areas very wet and muddy due to heavy movement and number of customers at specific areas. Entry fee expensive with an extra fee to sit at the Arena, which was mostly empty, people refusing to pay for that privilege. Ridiculous greed. No seating areas for the tired or needy. Toilet unit queues were common. Glasgow Council get real. Crowds were 20 deep in places. No under cover facilities for the heavy rain thunder and lightening for much of the day. Resulting in many bands retreating to sit in their bus parked outside the Green.

Lovely green open space but could do with a few more benches.

Superb! Mainly for the festivals I have been to but also good for the kids

Fantastic park, is big, walking nearly River, close to the city centre but quite. Is coffee shop and toilet.

My favorite park in Glasgow ideal for family walks and relaxing.

Large beautiful grass park area great for relaxing and strolling on a warm day. Fabulous large terracotta water fountain in the centre surrounded by bench seating (pity it wasn't working). Separate children's play area containing traditional swings and roundabouts.

Great dear green place. Plenty of events held here with the crowning gem of the peoples' winter palace and fountain out front.

One of the great event venues in Glasgow. It has held major events during the Commonwealth Games, European Championships, firework displays etc.
Outwith these events you have the Dalton fountain, People's Palace, several children's playareas, River Clyde walks etc
If you haven't visited the park or been there for several years then you will be pleasantly surprised.

Lovely tree-lined park with museum and orangerie (closes at 5). There is also a spectacular pub/restaurant/brewery across the park. Very friendly staff.

Enjoyed my time here. Good for spending some quality time

Nice park with a beautiful fountain outside the People's Palace. Some really interesting history here. Often holds festivals and concerts too.

Parts are now boarded up/off to the public (don't know why).

Well kept, great for the 100k AUOB 2019 march for independence.

I didn't liked Glasgow overall to be honest. But Glasgow green, the surrounding park, The People's palace, the Fountain this are good memories, all withing two minutes walk.

Great for young and old and if you like the glaswegian culture you'll get it here ...

The world's first public park. See the spot where James Watt had his idea for his steam engine that launched the industrial revolution, Nelson's column and beautiful terracotta Empire fountain.

Great free adventure park for kids. .bike hire lots of space for dogs or ball games ..handy for people's palace

It's a great place for morning jogging. Must be classified as one of the cleanest park in city.

walked around and had a wonderful time. took great pics but missed out on the people's palace. will go another time for that and the nearby crown court

Overall its a nice park, though its small and there really isn't much except from a small play park for kids and occasionally ab ice cream van other that that I would say its only good for taking walks or walking a dog

Very good garden with lots of greenery and place to walk or ride.

Great day out for all the family, with swing parks to cafes and near by pubs, Glasgow Green is steeped in history, why not visit the people's Palace and cafe to find out more about Glasgows historical past.

Undergoing work at present and the hot weather has dried out the grass so this area is not looking at its best.

It is really a big park. If you really want a relaxation come here and take a walk for sometime

The walk along the Clyde was wonderful and the park is great. The fountain and people's palace is a must see.

Ideal for outdoor activities. Walking, cycling, jogging etc.

Excellent free open space. Historical and close to city centre. Attractions inside the park include a museum and a winter garden with great range of plants.

Nice big park, couple of adventure playgrounds and a wee cafe in the botanic gardens greenhouse. Also West, the brewery which does nice German food is just off the green.
