People's palace is a excellent visit with the history of the east end. Followed by a lovely cuppa in the tea room.

Fabulous night at my first Proms in the Park
Great atmosphere . We arrived early and got a great spot. Camping chairs are a must.
Lovely park with plenty of amenities. Some great little walks and some lovely flowers.
It's a nice play area for the kids however there seems to have been some recent vandalism. The people's palace is a great place. Slot of history here too.
It's just such a family friendly afternoon in the park. Great for family catch ups and the dog gets his afternoon walkies too.
Great place to go and enjoy all sorts of sports and great place to see people's Palace is a great wee place to go alor of history and great food and drinks.
This park has everything! Well maintained lawns, trees, river Clyde, winter gardens with cafeteria, cycle route and walkway, football fields, 2 rowing clubs and large dog play area. An excellent place to visit. It is also possible to meet geese and maybe feed them, they always seem to be asking for food!
Nice place especially for dog walking. People palace is worth seeing as well
Went to transmit here! What an 2018 summer experience! Great space for walking dogs, babies or for BBQs during the summer
Love Glasgow Green, beautiful park to walk around with a great big sand park for the kids at one end and then another swing park at the other side for smaller kids, also has the peoples Palace to visit
Beautiful space with lovely surroundings. I rented a bike and cycled through the park and alongside the Clyde. Impressive buildings and monuments plenty play areas for children.
Firework display was great. Fab place in daylight hours also.
Just a park, a classic resting place with a playground, there are few benches near the playground.
Great Park with loads to see and do, can usually spend an hour or two just wandering round
Great day fab music, water station, bar and lots of food. Loads of toilets.
Decent enough park especially during the sunny day i was there. The buildings make it a bit special a good place to stay for an hour or so and enjoy the usual peace and quiet.
Beautifull place... great for an eve walk...fresh breath.... close to city centre aswell...
Unfortunately everything was shut including the playpark
Good day out at the People's Palace, shame the botanic garden is closed just now but the weather was great and enjoyed a walk in the park afterwards.
Glasgow green has good walking/cycling routes alongside the river Clyde, also has a cafe that serves very nice range of coffee
Terrific green space for public consumption, just to the East of Glasgow city centre.
You can walk by the Clyde, visit the People's Palace and, at the East End of the park, the West Brewery makes some cracking beer.
Awsome park very well maintained. Good for morning walk
A large, peaceful park perfect for getting away from the city without travelling out if it. There are also riverside pathways that are great for walking, running, and cycling.
Here for hockey matches. Basic facilities in stands. Inadequate parking when hockey and football pitches in use at the same time. Pretty easy to get back to motorway (M74)
Amazing place to go with friends and family and kids
5 asides cheapest I've been to, recently refurbished pitches, helpful staff
Beautiful place for a walk . Clean air & greenery all over.
Stunning place. We are so blessed that @GlasgowCityCouncil keeps our park spaces so nice. It's an important part of our city and investing in huge green spaces and awesome play areas makes living here great. If you're a visitor be sure to visit.
Absolutely brillant
The place is huge
Plenty of dog walkers
Runners walkers so much to see and do
And its all just a stone throw away from the town
Really great place to go for a walk or have a picnic.
In the grounds of the People's Palace you will find the Workers memorial garden and today the plaque was unveiled to tell the story of the equal pay claimants that died before their payout, an oak tree is planted in the east side garden , a place for the people of Glasgow .
Good place to spend the day in the heart of glasgow
James Watt memorial, People's Palace, Doulton Fountain, Templeton Carpet factory, Nelson Column, lots to see.
Great place to go with the family, kids can have fun in the play park while adults can sit nearby or go to the museum
