Beautiful park within the city. A nice scape from the street noise and all the construction sites. There's a beautiful winter garden to visit but it was closed due to covid, so next time.

A very well-kept but somewhat bare day use park in the heart of Glasgow ... nice and spacious with many good paths, it invites you to go hiking and cycling. The resident museum, like almost all museums in Scotland, can be visited free of charge with a very high exhibition quality. If you are interested, you can bring a few hours here.

Truly an amazing place. Perfectly cut fields and beautiful vegetation combined with monuments and backdrops of gorgeous architecture and the River Clyde. This place is perfect for a run, to set up a canvas and paint or just to draw, and take as many photographs as you can while you're here. You can also play football or rugby in the large stretches of grass, and there are football fields are also located in the southeastern corner of this place, and there are plenty of playgrounds for kids, too. All around a great place that I can't recommend enough

The best park in Glasgow by a country mile love the sheer size of the place and has all that's needed for a good day out with you and your family or friends
It's a beast of a place and serves you in very good stead as the sheer size of the walkway travels along the Clyde river bank and also cuts into the citys centre from the Glasgow's merchant city to London road
Offering plenty to do from picnics to sunbathing if the weather permits it ;p

The Glasgows famous green also supports many festivals and big events from the carnival to the fireworks displays on nov 5th on an annual basis !
It's also the home of the Clydesdale rowers club and dog walking programs that can be found on social media sites and apps - these usually take place on a Sunday if I'm not mistaken !
The green is always well kept and in pristine condition all of the time ! If you walk along by the river side from the city centre it takes you through the green and onto bridgeton then parkhead via tollcross and eventually cambuslang
Past the athletes village and cuningars loop which is by far the highlight of the journey taking you over bridges and around amazing walkways just the other side of the riverbank on the very famous Clyde !
The Glasgow green I almost forgot to add that the amazing people's palace and the winter gardens which is very historic and a must see for all who have not witnessed it's epicness and great sculptured stonework with references to our ventures overseas in battle across the globe over a century ago !

Unique fountain in front of a fine museum / exhibition building, which leads to a heated botanical garden with adjoining lounge / bar where you can enjoy either a tasty soup or a coffee / tea.

Lovely open space in Glasgow. Interesting architecture in and around such as the old Templeton carpet factory building, People's Palace, etc. The flowering cherries at the entrance by Saltmarket with the McLennan arch behind is very picturesque at the moment - 1 April.
