Unfortunately most of it closed off for some event or other.

Great to get the opportunity to play here but the piped noise into the changing rooms was very annoying during the team talk.

The People Palace was closed. The green is nice for a walk. It borders at the Clyde.

Great place in the heart of the city. Amazing for dog walkers, families, events, cafe with facilities and a bar and restaurant.

The People's Palace is for those with an interest in social history , particularly Glasgow history. How did they manage laundry? What was prison like? This is where to find out.

Amazing open space in the east of the city with the River Clyde flowing straight through the middle. At the far end of the park you'll find the Peoples Palace and amazing place to find out about some of the history of Glasgow or you can simply relax in the small (and a little expensive) cafe in the greenhouse.

Nice n crisp for a social distancing run/walk n coffee with your mate

Best place on a Glasgow Summer's day - ice-cream, Frisbee & a superb play park for the kids.

Absolutely brilliant it's well looked after . Loads of people sunbathing having a lovely time place spotless . Unfortunately didn't have phone with me to take photos

A green lung for the city and one of the few really clean places

@trnsmt.. For a city center festival, Chvrches and Friendly Fires were awesome. Killers were awesome x2..

A wonderful place within the city to spend a lazy summer holiday.

So many things to do and all in one park. Huge green area and walking area for picnics, cycling, walking, resting or studying. 3 playgrounds with different themes. 2 of them with sand! Indoor gardens when the weather is not that great and a cafe. Plus there is a museum and a beautiful fountain!

Really nice space for a walk, couple of children's playgrounds....one for under-12s and a larger, adventure-type playground. Great for dogs.

Nice place to sit or relax, not much to do but what is there is enjoyable.

A place to rest and meet people when it gets too stressful in cozy Glasgow. Should have visited man! In addition: a wonderful view of the Tenntents brewery

Lovely park to walk round, playground for children and the People's Palace is a fantastic insight into Glasgow life.

Been there to see firework. Its a really big place to host big events.

To be honest Glasgow Green is popular for a lot of functions for the public and the police use it for horse training, very popular area.

It is a great place, with free admission and quite a lot of stories from Glasgow.

The a dear green place, a lovely place to take the family for a walk the Clydesdale. The People's Palace is a great place to spend an afternoon with lots to look at and a place to have a meal, situated in the middle of the park.

It's a good place to visit. Especially on a colder day in Glasgow.Happy to visit and enjoyed alot!!!

This park is also very beautiful, both for how it is kept and for taking place along the Clyde river. Definitely worth seeing

I love this place in it nearly every day I learned to swim there about 1955 but the council nead to do more to save PEOPLES PALACE.

Located on the North bank of the River Clyde within the east end part of Glasgow City. Bordered by London Rd, The Greens Ave, Saltmarket Street and St James Street. Close to Bellgrove Station and a short walk from Trongate and Barrowlands. Basically a big park split up into a Sport Complex Area, A park and in summer restaurant area called People's Palace. Nice to take your dog for an afternoon walk or simply to exercise. The pathways are very well kept and the place is pristine. There is few parking spaces available so if you can avoid bringing your car or park on the other side of the river in the Gorbals Area. On days when there are functions or live performances, the entrances will be regulated by Police Scotland and you will need to take a detour if you don't have a pass. I used to play football at the sports complex on the St James end of the park. The facilities are open till fairly late and there are many regulars and they normally post for exercise buddies on Meet Up app or just via the noticeboard within the main building. Furthermore the pathways are wheelchair friendly. No dog fouling or littering is tolerated and no toilet facilities are available except for those at the Sport Complex. Great big park that usually has some event or other taking place. Really nice bit to unwind when the weather is good.

A big open green space, with lots walking opportunities and children play areas. Attached football pitches also offer additional entertainment at weekends! The park has a long radical history worth checking out and used to be the gathering place for May Day celebrations. It also has the People's Palace a museum of Glasgow's people and it's fighting spirit!!

A nice park for a walk with some nice views. We were visiting Glasgow and enjoyed a cool morning walk.

Well kept and very open. I cycle here a few times a week, and it seems popular with other cyclists too. The kids park is good too, completely enclosed and I enjoyed it when I was younger.
