Lovely green space in the centre of Glasgow that is very popular. Great riverside walks from the Albert bridge up to Dalmarnock bridge. Main attraction is the People s Palace a famous Glasgow museum. Unfortunately the Winter Gardens are currently closed for repairs (April 2019). Well worth a visit.

People's museum is well worth a visit. Chronicles the history of poverty in Glasgow with recognition of those who fought to eradicate it. The green is just that - a large green area but plenty of space.

Great place to go on a nice day. Not as long a walk as kelvingrove and definitely less bams. There'll always be a quiet little corner to find for yourself or plenty of people to meet if you're in to that kind of thing.

Glasgow green is a great place to go for a walk and clear your head. Some times around the year there are events on which is great because some are free such as the firework display that happens every year.

Along with Kelvingrove Park and Botanic gardens, Glasgow green are my favourite Glasgow parks and the ones I use mostly by walking, jogging or cycling through. Glasgow green in particular has lots of memories of my childhood as I was brought up in Bridgeton and we lived across the road from it in Greenhead Street. I was there the other day jogging and took the wintry photo.

Nice place to take the kids to run about and play and have a picnic. We came during the European championships 2018 and had another of activities and things to see for kids. It's just off the city centre and 10 minute walk straight down the hill from high Street station. The park is very bis and runs all the way along to the people palace which is a nice place to take the kids.

Glasgow green always been a lovely big park, my last visit was to the music festival Transmit, I would definitely go to another as they are well organised with security and police. And after the atmosphere of everyone walking through the town to their method if transport is buzzing.

Nice park for a quiet walk. In addition to the monuments there is the museum of the inhabitants of Glasgow, very interesting to learn about the history of the city and its citizens over the past 300 years

Ah good old glasgow green safe to say I have almost grew up in this place from back when it was a congregation point for single mothers to meet up with there kids and sneak the odd can of diamond white to the more recent days of being a safe haven for the goths emos and other alt style people of Glasgow, I'd avoid going here on the weekends tho unless you fancy being shouted at from a fat goth lassie covered in Buckfast called olga wile her stick thin emo boyfriend nicknamed feels holds her back other than that during the week on a nice day it is a great place to walk the kids
