By far the most crooked company I have ever dealt with.. took me behind my back and put a ccj on me without so much as a court date or letter.

Cant get hold of them..
There online form doesn't work.
They are not answering calls.

The best bit is the ticket will be rescinded shortly as it was wrongly given. I just have no idea who to report these people to.

Working for corrupt parking companies, using a vacuum in private parking law to charge astronomical sums from public even where there is no machine to pay. Make themselves uncontactable & years of top credit history wrecked by false claims we hadn't paid, avoid avoid.

Shocking company. I have just received my first letter from them. They have told me their client is going to take me to civil court for a parking fine which I don't believe is due as I had a valid ticket. All companies involved (I assume from other posts are run by the same group of Directors) have no customer service and I intend to take this further as what they are doing should not be legal and they obviously rely on people giving up the fight. Any ideas as to who I should contact regarding their conduct would be gratefully received. S

Unprofessional legal company and I intend to report them. Sent me a letter before action which they now claim is not a letter before action. I can't respond to the letter online as it clearly states online I dont owe them anything, yet Gladstone say I do. Asked for the form to respond to be sent on email but they are unable to give me a timescale for this when the letter states I have 30 days to respond! All this for a parking ticket for not displaying a permit when the permit is on my dash board and can be seen in the photo. My appeal to the fine was rejected as apparently the car park inspector doesn't have to look in the window! I fully intend to go to court to defend this. Good luck to anyone dealing with this company and please report to the legal ombudsman as I intend to do.

My mother has been sent an invalid parking charge claim which if she does not deal with will apparently leave her with a CCJ. Who is up for a class action lawsuit and criminal proceedings for attempting to gain funds via deception? Please also report to police immediately.

No correspondence from them, then notice a CCJ on my credit file from them, try to ring to sort it out but only a payment line available. A little dodgy if you ask me!

Absolute cowboys who pray on the vulnerable, at no point was my supposed 'parking fine' dealt with correctly! Now put a CCJ on me having heard nothing from them in months. I honestly do not know how they are allowed to operate, they need shutting down.

One of my workers contested a parking charge in late 2019, by mid 2020 these people had put a CCJ on my company account, forced me to pay up, pretended like they had never received the appeal and then 5 weeks ago sent me an email saying my worker had contested this in 2019

To date I have now sent 7 emails to them, asking for an explanation as to what the hell happened

should they have even logged the CCJ against my company, probably not given this was contested almost 12 months ago

they don't reply to emails, and think because they are solicitors they seem to invent the law.

Would love to complain to a higher authority, I just don't know where to go from here

This company is a absolute joke my mums husband received a parking ticket around 2 years ago but that wasn t him because his car/ number plate has been cloned. This has been reported to the police and the police has confirmed that the vehicle has been cloned.

We have sent all the evidence with police references to the parking company but they have ignored all emails and letter correspondence so they have passed this case to this company. All evidence were sent to them but they clearly don t understand English in all the emails with evidence sent to them, threatening that the other company will take further legal actions.

First of all read all your emails with evidence attached and then take legal actions and see who wins.

Companies like those should not be allowed to function, lack of professionalism and probably lack of education and full ignorance.

Ticket issued?? No response for the company, got a court letter after 7months, tried to call to see.. again from the day they sent a ticket back in November I had emailed but no reply. EVEN now speaking the court they suggested to speak to the company. But no one is seen to be there except a automated answer.

But i need the support of the public that has had to deal with the same level of privacy invassion, false claim and fraudulent CCJ entry on credit. Absolute shambles of a company. A total disgrace to the legal profession. They spent two years fighting me for a parking charge, which i disputed as being unlawful. They took me to court, then failed to turn up to the telephone hearing and the case was dismissed. What an absolute horror show these guys are. Incompetent beyond belief, they can't even be bothered to try.

Just to add, the LinkedIn profile picture of one of their ' solicitors ' is a selfie taken in a nightclub. That should tell you all you need to know about their levels of professionalism. Pathetic.

These people are idiots, took me to court yesterday after a 14month letter battle over a fine from CPM uk, that I refused to pay as I knew I was in the right, the judge basicly laughed at their incompetence and lack of evidence, the judge didn't even get their statement of truth letter, nor did they abide the judges directions, Anyway, all in all he dismissed the case on lack of evidence. Thank God that's over! Stand your ground, they arn't proper solicitors and have not got a clue when it gets to this stage. Good luck people.

I am almost 76 years old but I would never give in to bullies so BEWARE don t be intimidated.

I recently used Gladstones to represent me in a messy court action regarding custody of my daughter. I felt immediately at ease from the outset and the Solicitor representing me went out of her way to reassure me of the Court process and what I could expect when we attended Court. We received a satisfactory outcome and I would say don't let the negative reviews put you off using this firm. From what I can see all of the bad reviews seem to be from disgruntled people who are angry they got caught parking where they shouldn't have.

Do NOT pay Gladstones for parking charges related to Heath Parade NW9. It ha been proven in court that Parking Control Management (UK) Ltd do not have authority of the freeholder of Heath Parade, so all their parking charges are invalid (at least upto 29th Jan 2018).

Gladstones and PCM have claimed that Genesis Housing is the freeholder, whereas Land Registry records prove they are not, and the correct freeholder of the parking / loading bay at Heath Parade is another company called Choices for Graham Park Ltd.

Fight these scammers in court with the above defence, dont give in to their tricks. They even gave the court dodgy land transfer documents claiming the parking area had been transferred to Genesis, but these were also shown to be bogus as they related to a block of flats 100 metres away, nothing to do with the parking / loading area.

If you have paid them, demand a refund. If you lost in court, apply for the CCJ to be set aside on the above grounds and for your money back. Parking Control Management (UK) Ltd do not have any legal right to levy parking charges for Heath Parade NW9, and Clerkenwell & Shoreditch County Court has agreed that in a judgment today.

Quick to take your money but slow in communicating if at all

Automated payment system doesn't work & actually threatens you with more charges if you enter an incorrect reference number.
My call to the office was finally answered on the 9th attempt (see image). No V/m facility & call cuts out. From the image, the call was ended at a different duration each time meaning my calls were probably being manually rejected.
The staff I have dealt with during my case have been abrupt, slow to respond, made misrepresentations & have been quite argumentative. The grammar in the the email correspondence I have received has been awful. I have found the experience to be incredibly unprofessional and I worry that if they treat all cases as they have mine then the more vulnerable people will be exploited.
Case background: Unpaid parking fine for being 10 minutes over, no ticket issued, Parking company (HX Car Park Managment Ltd) sent letter to incorrect address. Gladstone initially advised me that the fine was for not buying a ticket which led to a lot of time wasted trying to find an old ticket.

I'd question the company morals of a solicitors who would accept cases such as this from companies such as HX Car Park Management)

Was right about dodgy company working with dodgy parking companies. Terrible company, took money and having trouble getting refund where overpaid. Not dealing directly with who they should be.

It would appear this is a fake business name used by Debt Recovery Plus to scare the public into paying parking fines issued in contradiction to parking regulations on private estates. The number is disconnected. I look forward to meeting them in court soon to watch them squirm.

I have been stung by this company. I am in the process of working with the media to bring to light the way this company and the companies that they represent operate. If anybody else has been in a position where they have attempted a very reasonable appeal and this has been rejected, or if has taken anyone else three months to receive a reply regarding their appeal; or if they have been informed one thing over the phone and then they have acted in a different manner; please get in contact. Companies like this should not be allowed to operate the way they do.

They seem to have authorised debt collection agencies to use their logo and send out letters on their behalf. I suggest as i am doing report them to the RSA.

If you have experienced issues similar to mine, and seemingly everybody else's, with this "Law Firm" then please do report them to the Legal Ombudsman and the Solicitors Regulation Authority so that they can actually be dealt with. It's ridiculous how they get away with such a sham and the only way to stop it going forwards is to take the appropriate routes.

May I propose that those who have been affected contact Action Fraud - if cases can be compiled they can be put towards this shady outfit and hopefully others won't be harassed, intimidated and coerced into complying with these invoices they send through.

Gladstones are noted in the courts as being highly incompetent

I decided to defend a claim issued against me by these chaps (knowing full well that I would not be up against the brightest legal brains in the business). Unsurprisingly 2 weeks before the trial date Gladstones filed a notice of discontinuance. Ironically, the amount of legal costs and court fees that Euro Parking Services (Gladstone s client) would of incurred in bringing the claim would have vastly outweighed the initial parking charge. Ouch.

My message to people who legitimately believe that they are not at fault, do not let the legal jargon used in their letters compel you to pay a fine - their livelihood is dependent on people's ignorance of the law.Take the time to review the law, the parking firm s terms of business and read the many websites geared at challenging these people. Doing this will open your eyes to just how tenuous these people s debt claims are and it will give you a strong platform to defend any claim.
Finally, if it comes to it, do not be scared about court action - these people certainly do not want to go to trial unless there is an extremely high success percentage. This is because the cost incurred in them bringing a claim / attending the trial is not proportional given the amount of the claim and, always remember, they cannot recover their fees in the small claims court (subject to your conduct pre-trial).

When you receive a letter, there is no point getting annoyed with them, these people sit at the kiddy table of the legal world, you cannot hate them more than they must hate themselves. Don t be angry with them, pity them.

When I disputed what they was accusing me of, the woman on the phone was very abrupt and unhelpful, and when we entered further into the conversation she said, she wasn t prepared to talk any further on the matter and put the phone down on me. I didn t raise my voice, swear, or use any language that could be deemed offensive but she just put down the phone when she didn t have an answer. Incredibly poor customer service. Disgusting behaviour.

Update to below. Court hearing took place today and the claim they brought against me on behalf of PCM was dismissed. Hopefully it cost them and PCM a lot of money. They are still blatantly refusing to erase my personal data so have been reported to the ICO, who have indicated they will be carrying out an investigation.

The Solicitors Regulation Authority have also mentioned to me that they are 'on their radar'.

They failed to ensure I received a Letter Before Claim prior to issuing proceedings for which I took them severely to task.

DON'T FALL FOR THIS!!! "Solicitors" contacted me regarding a PCN. I have sent them counter evidence (and still have it) to which they have taken their time to contact me. After talking to a friend who is a solicitor I w was told that they are not on the SRA so they aren't genuine.

These people are pure scum and use contracts with low life parking companies to bully people into paying extortionate parking fines. What a fantastic money maker I can imagine this is for them. I would like the coward behind the operation to make themselves more public instead of hiding behind smoke and mirrors using the legal system to commit day light robbery making a fortune.

Appeal to POPLA in time or make sure you keep them in date with your current address or you will get a surprise court case in 1 year. Don't worry, if you prepare your objection/defence with help of Consumer Action Group, you are likely to win and claim expenses.

I agree with all the negative comments about this firm. I reluctantly paid a parking fine and solicitors costs (neither of which should have been charged as I could evidence my valid parking permit). 2 days after I paid they posted a county court letter to me with additional charges. A number of conversations with various of their staff but none of these morons would recognise that I had already paid what they were asking - in full The last idiot I spoke to said that I should have paid the full amount stated on the Court Order (even though it wasn't even prepared until 2 days after I paid the fine and costs). As I was sick of them just being evasive and not recognising that their actions were tantamount to bullying - I capitulated and paid in full. But their lack of any common sense or fairness has left a real bad taste in my mouth. Avoid this firm at all costs! They are horrendous to deal with

Moved on from parking ticket enforcement and ambulance chasing to now trying to scare people into parting with significant sums of cash to pay interest and capital on non-existent contractor loans. I 'apparantly' had a parking ticket that I knew nothing about, I did not receive any information about anything, then I ended up getting a CCJ on my credit behind my back, I only found out about the ccj after checking my credit report because I was refused a credit card.
