Bought this mobile home in 06. Told the dealer several times that the roof was improperly installed. Now I have extensive structural damage and the roof vents have all leaked at one time or another, to include the range vent ( had water coming through my microwave). The entire roof is going to have to be repaired ( sheeting is destroyed due to improper shingle installation) to two feet above the facia and the food has 2x2 trusses ( I've built a lot of structures and have never seen that done.). The siding on the ends keeps coming off and we'll have to re-side too. And be aware their creditor is predatory and malicious. I would never recommend buying one of their homes. You're better off buying a "fixer upper" home . It would be a better investment.

Manufacturer technician Robert, was amazing to say the least! We've had so many issues arising from the dealer we purchased our home through and they were not slow at all to point fingers at the factory. Even though absolutely NONE of the problems we've had are actually due to factory work, they are still going above and beyond to correct anything and everything they can including things they don't have to. Robert gives that vibe of family as soon as you meet him but works timely and efficiently and my kids loved showing him their toys. Just amazed with the type of staff employed at GILES industries. Wonderful customer service!!

The people at Giles are great people to work with. They build a great product and provide quick service for the customers!

I bought my home 4 years old but I love few Miner issue but easily repair I love the 9ft ceiling

My experience with Clayton homes of Dublin, VA was fine up and until now.

I purchased the 2015 Summer Breeze model home on February 27th, 2015.

Before the contract was signed, Clayton Homes was made aware of some manufacturing problems with the home. I was assured they would be taken care of.

It is now 5 months later and the problems are still here and now Giles claims that the casing around my rear exit door and the Master Bathroom door is no longer available and they want to substitute a different color that will not match the rest of the trim in my home.

Would I recommend this manufacturer.............NO!!!!

It is now the 23rd of February,2016 and this company is a joke. They manufacture JUNK. I lived in my home for almost a year and have nothing but problems. Problem after problem. I am contacting a lawyer to see if I can file a suite against the manufacturer and the retailer. Some of the problems have never been fixed and most likely never will be. I am 62 years old and this is my first home I purchase and by GOD, I wish I had never purchased this JUNK!!!!

Half the trim nails never made it into studs , windows not straight in living room, on third set of outer doors , etc etc... Just seems like it's built to fast and quality is not there.

Great Caring Company.. Great Staff.. in my opinion if you are looking to buy a home.. buy one that s built here.. warranty.. and customer appreciation is a plus..

I Own a 2014 Giles MyPad, the home is falling apart! the roof is leaking after only 4 years,FOR THOSE THAT DONT KNOW YOU ARE EXPEXTED TO GET UP ON YOUR OWN ROOF TWICE A YEAR TO SEAL IT. I ve already had to replace the both bathrooms sink plumbing.i even have a couple crooked windows I just recently noticed. THERE IS A REASON THERE IS ONLY A ONE YEAR WARRANTY!!! You are better off with a 5th wheel camper than one of these homes. It s only showing 2 photos but if you would like to see photos of this garbage let me know and I ll happily email you photos of what s to be expected from owning one of these poor quality homes.

Decent place to work. Good pay once you tier up to level 2 on your bonuses.

I bought the single wide called all about the shower. I live alone. When we walked and did the start up the mixer valve in the main shower wasn't even plugged so water ran into the floor. After I finally move in I went to take my first shower and behold the water didn't even get hot. It was just warm. A home called all about the shower but can't take a hot shower. Ughhh. So I go in the other bathroom and it's not working right either. Also the nail gun to put up all the wood trim was either set too low or too high I guess depending on who's using it because I have nails sticking out or big indentions where the nail gun went too far. They also sent the home out without doing any cleaning whatsoever to it so I have sheetrock dust everywhere and what makes this situation so bad is that the texture of the floor has sheetrock dust and is so ingrained in it that I literally have to get on my hands and knees and scrub to get the sheetrock dust out of the indentions in my floors before I can wax them. Mopping doesn't help I really have to use a rag and scrub pretty hard in every direction to get the dust out.I'm not a happy man right now. But don't get me wrong it is a beautiful home. Vendors such as HVAC and plumbing just leave the trash laying out in your yard as well
