Open at 1 pm. Has moved to card to hold tickets for rides. Can still redeem the old paper tickets. Daughter is 36 inches and able to do a fair amount of rides. Kids had a blast. Half of park inside a building that gives shade but no ac.

Located at the 6th street entrance to the boardwalk. Decent selection of rides and huge funnel cakes. Nice thing is they upgraded to rechargable cards ala Dave and Busters. No extra ticket sheets or books to worry about it.

I have been going here since 1985 but this place has really gone downhill over the last few years. Took my son today for our annual trip and was disappointed with how many rides were closed considering it s a Saturday in August. The ferris wheel is closed for the second straight summer. They should really let people know what is closed on their website or at least at the ticket window. Won t be going back until they make some major improvements.

This is an amusement area that is suited for children between the ages of 3 to 12. The rides such as merry go round, boats and other slow moving rides are near the entry off the boardwalk and are geared toward younger children. A highlight for younger children is the Thomas the Train monorail that travels throughout the whole entertainment area.

The larger and faster rides are near the back of the pier. Graviton, swings, bumper cars, log flume and a haunted house are solid entertainment for older kids.

The hookup special is the $10 unlimited rides offered in Sundays between 9 to 11pm.

Drop the younger kids off with the grandparents and hit the boards for a couple of hours! If you have older kids over 12, push on further south on the boardwalk to larger rides.

Although we got stuck sideways on a ride and I almost had a heart attack, I loved it here maybe more than my kids. I went there when I was younger and it was so nostalgic. Great for the younger ones.

Some of the rides are great others look like they predate the boardwalk, a good mix of things to do, my nephew loved it but the lines were long and the space was a little cramped between rides

I REALLY hate to give this place a bad review- but I feel the need to. I've gone to Wonderland Pier since I was a kid, and even continued to visit every year. Now I am a father of two, and planned to have my kids enjoy the same fun I did as a child. I just visited this again this year, and the amount of tickets needed to ride the rides has been jacked up to the point, that I will not be going back. It is $6.00 per person to ride the ferris wheel- so for my family to ride ONE ride together it would be $24.00?! Unbelievable! They also jacked the price of the carousel from 1 ticket, to 3 tickets. The real kicker is that many rides require a child to be accompanied by a adult- and they have the nerve to charge you to accompany your child. So to ride a simple ride, it could be $8.00 to $10.00 average for my daughter to go on, since she MUST be accompanied by me. They also ruined some of the charm of the older rides, by painting over them. (the kiddie boats for example had names on them for 30+ years) We also had a incident on the caterpillar roller coaster, where the train slammed backwards violently on the hill. The chain to lift the coaster up the hill was not on when cart approached the hill. It then got switched on, and since the cart was already at a dead stop on the hill, everyone got jerked real hard from it, and two people got off because they hit their head. Well this was my last year for Wonderland. My family and I went to Playland (Castaway Cove) and feel like this is going to be our new place for rides in Ocean City. They charge less tickets per ride, and don't charge the parents to accompany their children. This makes it much more affordable, and I don't feel like I'm being robbed. From the looks of it, many people are discovering this is the place to go...they had much more of a crowd than Wonderland on the same night. Like I said I hate to give Wonderland a bad review, but they have gone downhill....

This is a good place to go when you are on vacation. This place is more intended for kids, in my opinion. The rides are mostly for kids, excepts for a few. The rides are fun, just limited. If I were to pick Gillian's, or castaway cove, right down the boardwalk, I would pick castaway cove

Tuesday 12 to 4 is 2 tickets for any single ride. After 4 pm, some reason Des are 3 tickets, some are 4, some are 5 etc. Each ticket is a $1. One water ride with just one drop can set you back by $5 per person after 4 pm. Rather expensive.

It's our favorite "amusement park" to visit on the boardwalk. Quite a few decent rides and some alright food options inside. Lines are typically pretty short and most of the staff are friendly and welcoming. Just make sure you get your tickets early in the year when it's half price!

A fun place for 5-15 year olds. Only a few rides are able to accommodate adult sized humans. For being on the boardwalk it is very expansive. I will say it can get a bit crowded so probably good to have one adult to every 2-3kids as it is easy to get lost. We like to go ride just a few things at a time every few days while vacationing but I could see where it could be a very expensive evening if you plan on hanging out there for more than 3 rides as you do pay per ride/per person. But overall it is a boardwalk staple worth visiting at least once on your trip! Not to mention, it's definitely the best collection of rides/games on the best and most family friendly- Ocean City- boardwalk of all the Jersey coast.
