My kids love the rides but man this place will put a hole in your pocket fast. We bought a $20 card and I could take my toddler on two rides while accompanying her and put her on one little ride with her sister. That took like maybe 15 minutes. You can get unlimited rides for $40 but that price is per person, so if you have a child who needs to be accompanied by an adult you're going to have to get at least two of them maybe more. So I think it would be something to do if you were going to really get the kids on those rides many times over the course of the day. I will qualify this review by saying I'm not a huge ride fanatic to begin with. But for the money I'd prefer to save it and take my kids to Sesame place or something like that another day.

It doesn't appear to have changed much at all since I was coming here as a child in the early 90s. Fun for young kids, I can't really see too much to do for older kids. It's not too bad price wise for the boardwalk, $20 can get you around 5-6 rides.

Definitely geared more towards small kids, they do have 4 older kids/adult rides but the pier is primarily for smaller children. They have cute rides, a good amount of games and keep it as clean as you can keep a pier with 2000 people on it lol it's a tight space so on a Saturday night your basically body to body, but overall I liked it.

So fun

* UPDATE: no response ever received from Gillian's... my sister now takes the kids to Wildwood. *

I've been coming here for a week almost every summer since 1978 since my parents first brought me as a baby. My sister now brings her kids here every year. I rated 3 stars preliminarily because of the situation described below. Here is the message I sent to Gillian's, & I will update my review when I get a reply from them (or if I don't get a reply in a few weeks).
To Gillian's Wonderland: "Around 7:58pm on Sunday Aug 7th, my nephew rode the Raceway Whip. He kept telling the attendant he was scared and wanted her to stop the ride (I have video). She looked right at him every time he went by her, but she did nothing. I don't know if this is your policy to not stop the rides, or if it was just the ride operator being lazy or not sympathetic. Either way, that was not something I'd expect from a place that is geared towards children. What do you have to say about that?"

Lots of fun rides for younger kids. Our 2 year old had fun and so did our 7, 8, and 11 year olds. There is a train ride that goes around the park - it looks like Thomas a little so our 2yo loved it! There were some rides that weren't working though, and one area by the swings ride that wasn't blocked off properly - seemed like a safety hazard to me with so many kids running around. There are also public restrooms on the end. Right on the boardwalk.

Had my sons 2nd Birthday party there this past weekend and it was awesome! As soon as I booked the party I received check in calls multiple times from the staff leading up to my event which I loved. Most places forget about you and never reach out. The staff at 6th Street Pizza, where our party was held, were above amazing! The girls were so helpful and accomodating. They were always there to help and the customer service was outstanding. Highly reccommend!

This was my first job when I was 16. Kids that young are running rides with very little training if any. Place gets crazy busy. Make sure your wallet is secure in a zipper pocket or bag. Worse then walking through a crowd in NYC, easy to get pick pocketed. If the pp ark doesn't empty your wallet they theives watching you will! Have fun kids.

Not all of the rides were operational. Can't afford repairs or NJ won't approve the operation for safety reasons for lack of repairs. It's a shame. Ex: The ferris wheel just sits there like it did last year.

Excellent deals! Went here December 15 and my son got to go on the indoor rides on the boardwalk here, and there were a few rides open outside. For $10 you get a wristband and could go on an unlimited amount of rides from 12-5 pm and that was an excellent deal because we stayed for three hours! What a great place for kids under 10 in the winter.
