Gib's NY Bagels and Deli Review

So many different flavors of fresh bagels and fillings to choose from. Friendly staff and plenty of seating and it s open until 5 or 6pm! Great place to take the kiddo for breakfast before school. I haven t tried their bagel sandwiches yet, but I will soon. They have great a rewards program too. My only not so happy with was their Butterscotch White Mocha - couldn t really taste any butterscotch in it, but the other specialty brews I have tried were great! Definitely a regular morning stop for me.

I was excited to see that Gibs had curbside ....
Unfortunately when I arrived after ordering, the phone just rang then after several times it rang busy. So I went in. They were not busy. I couldn t get anyone s attention. I said I have a curbside pick up but the phone was busy The girl with long hair Flying everywhere, said she was on the phone but did not try to help me, but rather walked away.
A young man finally stopped long enough for me to ask where a curbside pick up would be. It had been waiting all along near the cash register.
After all this, my order was not assembled according to my online order.
Don t use Curbside if you go to this Gibs Bagels and don t be surprised to find long hairs in your food.

Their bagels are tasty. I've only had the NYer sandwich and it's very good. People are friendly.

This is definitely the best location in town. Their bagels are delish and so is their coffee! You can't beat that kind of combo. What's great about their bagels is that they're not overly doughy, which is nice on the belly.

Google says they open at 6 am but they don't open until 6:30am, that's too late to open for a bagel place.

Store closed a hour early. Not updated online. It's written in small text on the bottom of their door and half wiped off. You have to call in for curbside pick up it says in larger text closer to eye level, so when you call they just stare at you and talk about how many people have been there doing the same thing instead of picking up the phone. Staff was rude when they eventually picked up after around 20 rings. If so many people are doing this, maybe fix it. Also, updated hours would help.

Great food. Be ready to have a bit of wait during busy hours but still worth it.

Called about my sandwich that was BURNT BEYOND BURNT, actually surprised that they sent it out, I was told by management that there is nothing that can be done because I used Grubhub. Very disappointing, I used to come here often. But no more for me.

Fast and friendly. Great price for certain breakfast sandwiches. Good music. Bottomless coffee. Can't do much better. If I had one gripe, it's that cream cheese costs as much as eggs, cheese, and meat, while butter and peanut butter are like fifty cents.

I have never once purchased a simple bagel and cream cheese, nor do I intend to at the price. Nevertheless, I enjoy their cream cheeses on occasion when I order a lox bagel. It's good. But a plain bagel or a bagel sandwich always leaves me happy.

And hazelnut coffee...

Josh and his crew are great. Great bagels with quick and friendly service and if they make a mistake they handle it quickly and professionally. Our favorite go-

They are amazing! I have called on more than one occasion with big orders for my company and they put everything together so quickly and help me carry everything out to my car! Everything is tasty and fresh. They even provide me with utensils and supplies that I didn't ask for but they perceived I would need. This morning, I made a huge order and was in a rush and they gladly got everything ready and were so helpful and kind despite the fact they were busy and I was rushed. Everyone get some munchins here! Delicious food and kind service. Our entire store staff loves them!

Would have rated the food but as with all Food walk in spots. They were in the weeds as soon as I walked in at 9am on Monday. 3 or 4 people milling around in the dining room waiting while the usual 2 or 3 crewmembers took 5x longer than normal. Walked out. Prices are insane too for bagels and cream cheese. 1.29 a bagel w nothing? $4 for 8 oz cream cheese? Must be CO!

I'll start with saying the bagels are good here, but the costumer service is horrible. This morning we ordered 2 BLTs through Noco Nosh and neither of them had lettuce or tomato, just bacon (and banana peppers on one), no pickles on the side, and very little cream cheese. It's a BLT.. that calls for bacon lettuce and tomato but because it didnt say that on the order I guess it was unknown.

We called and they said they were too busy to place another order for us so we would have to go pick it up. So sure, whatever, I went to go pick it up. When I went in to let them know about the order the girl working started making it, and she is probably the one that messed it up in the first place. When she was finished, she basically threw the bag at me with no apology for messing the order up. I checked the bagels to make sure they were correct this time - they were, but she forgot the pickles AGAIN. So I let her know and she basically threw the pickles at me too and was very rude with her commentary about why the original order was the way it was.

Look, I understand that orders get messed up, but it is absolutely NOT acceptable to be rude about messing an order up when it's obviously not the customers fault.

The everything bagels looked good in the case, but most of the seasoning fell off during prep. Little flavor and lacked the bite or crunch of a true NY bagel.
Pleased to see Jerry mixed into the decor and the spicy chai was good.

I'm from New York and these bagels bring me right back to my hometown. They couldn't be any better!

They have delicious bagels and their service is quick. They never have the chocolate chip bagel bites anymore and it s super disappointing. They only make a small number and a couple of other odd flavors. Please bring back the chocolate chip bagel bites!

This is the go-to place for a quick, quality breakfast in Fort Collins. Both the Harmony and Shields locations are always clean and the employees are cordial and efficient. The prices are also fair. Their bagels come packed with cream cheese and the coffee is delicious. My only complaint is that they do not always toast their bagels thoroughly enough. I have only had positive experiences at Gibs.

I have a new favorite here. They're salted pretzel bagel covered in there honey nut cream cheese. The salty-sweet is delicious. And that's to an iced coffee with just a hint of caramel, and my morning is made. As always the service was wonderful. Had a nice conversation with another patron while we both waited. Comfortable venue, good vibe.

Gibbs is the best place to go for outstanding customer service, bagels, atmosphere and friendly staff. Josh always remembers who I am and is just the greatest when it comes to fast and excellent service. He makes you feel welcome. I will never go anywhere else. Go try it and tell

I ve lived in Fort Collins for almost 4 years now and I have been on the hunt for the best bagel in the Fort Collins area. I have tried Gibbs a few times and they re the best out of all of the places I have tried. Two things I want to mention is that they always seem a little too stiff and chewy for my liking(maybe a little under toasted?) but if you like that then that won t be an issue for you. My other problem is that their blueberry bagel is a huge disappointment. It has blueberry specks but no actually pieces of blueberry and I literally taste 0 blueberry or even sweetness. It might as well be a plain bagel if I m being honest. Bottom line is that they re the best bagels I have found yet in Fort Collins but I m still on the hunt for the better.

Gibs never disappoints. From the bagles to the coffee to the customer service. I love Gibs.

I ve grown up here in Ft. Collins and this is the best place for bagels, cream cheese, breakfast sandwiches, and even lattes! I ve tried 4 different places one a caramel macchiato with almond milk and Gibs is by far THE BEST I ve had! I crave their bagels sandwiches and coffee drinks. Their bagel knots are the most delicious sweet treat as well! I rave about them to everyone! Thank you for being so great and a part of my youth. I ll always be loyal to Gibs!

Although Gib's faces challenges that any small business faces, lots of turnover and a small pool of quality workers, they have some strong team members. That said, the bagels are the best in Fort Collins (not Northern Colorado and not Denver, but Fort Collins). I highly recommend get the pizza bagel but having them add cream cheese underneath it all. I am a repeat customer.

Best bagels you'll find in Northern Colorado. I've been goin here for more than 10 years. Their breakfast bagels are top notch and don't forget to get a large cup of their always fresh Hazlenut coffee. If you want to try something odd but delicious try a 'build your own bagel' strawberry cream cheese, salmon lox and onions.

Real good bagel sandwiches, coffee is great, twice a week habit can't be wrong.

Gib's is the best breakfast bagel place in town! My girlfriend and I love coming here on the weekend and taking some breakfast bagels to go. They have so many possible combinations of bagel sandwich it is almost difficult to order, however you'll be happy with your choice no matter what. They staff are very friendly and always seem to have a line of hungry, excited patrons (and the wait times are not very long as the staff is quite efficient). One of my favorite places in Fort Collins!

Really torn!!! I used to loooove gibs bagels, still do love the food. However, the customer service has gone way down, even before covid. Over a year ago the staff was amazing!! Used to go 3 or more times a week for something. (I'm not sure if its the same person but it is always a female at register when this happens. I'm a female & my job is empowering woman so that has nothing to do with it)! I totally get that things are different now but if its going to be an hour instead of 15 min, tell me an hour, I'll wait! I get less staff, more call ins, it might not be a quick turn around but then tell me that. Don't tell me 20 min and an hour later I have to call cause my husbands been waiting there since 918 and its 945 (order placed at 841, gave extra time before we got there so it would be ready). So: order placed at 841, 20 min would be 901, we gave them an extra 17 min before arriving and it still wasn't done (ok no biggie probably be out in a min). Its now 941 and I get a call from my husband they still haven't made the food, he just went in (we were doing curbside pickup). So I call and get put on hold for 2 min, and then I am told after explaining what happened that they are making it now, at 945. I got a sorry and rushed off phone. If this was an isolated incident and they maybe said here are some bagel bites for the inconvenience or next time a bagel on us, I would of been like stuff happens. However, it is not! Last week we called in an order (and I let them know this time) that my husband was also picking up on his way home from fishing and they didn't even have it (again gave extra time). Said they couldn't find the order and it would be awhile if we reordered (at least they let us know it wouldn't be 5 min, but you would think they would say let me get it in). My husband just getting back from fishing did not feel like waiting, so we declined and he went to McDonald's drive-thru. Now remember in the beginning I said it started before covid. Well before all this happened I went in, in January and ordered the same thing I do everytime for myself (bagel with cream cheese, bacon, tomato). This time it was close to $3 more. I asked why and she explaines a breakfast sandwich (bagel, egg, meat, cheese) is $4something, plus I added cream cheese and Tomato. I said "yes but I'm not getting egg or reg cheese, normally I get charged for a bagel with cream cheese add tomato and bacon." I got the 'confused' and then the 'ok and' look. Because I had text receipts, I went back and showed her, however when going back and looking I noticed on 3 other occasions out of a dozen or so the same thing happened but I didn't notice cause I ordered a bunch of other stuff and it was basically not realized. I asked why this is happening and was told by cashier "I guess it just depends on who rings you up" and got dismissed. I said "ok then, cancel my order" and walked out. It was busy and I was otw to work, I didn't have time to speak to a manager. 3 strike rule for me (really more if you consider all the over charges)! I should also mention that bring up your rewards and they would seem aggrevated they had to pull up! the thing #$%< happens but don't dismiss it. Make up for your wrong. Have staff trained to be curtious and if an error is made own up to it and don't make the customer feel like they are a bother or its not big deal. Waiting an extra 45 min for food, your order disappearing and being over charged is not nothing! Really wish I didn't have these experiences because they are by far the best bagels in town. I'm a NY girl and we know our bagels. However, I would rather go to #2 (and there is a big gap between if I was to score based on bagels) and get good service than continue to get sub par service at Gibs! Not only will I miss the bagels but ill miss the atmosphere (when you could go in and eat) with the tied died shirts behind the counter and great music (Grateful Dead & other great artists) playing on the speakers. I had a nostalgic connection to this place and now that's gone! From your really disappointed customer!!

I ordered a chocolate chip bagel with strawberry cream cheese. It tasted like a combination of onion and garlic. If I hadn't spent $6.11 for a bagel and a soda, it would have been thrown away. I won't be back.

Well I go here like twice a week at least so yeah, it's pretty great.

Had to stand at the counter for a bit before being told they were closed. It was about 4:01pm. No sign on the door saying closed, open sign was still on and another customer had just ordered something and it was being made. Google even has them open until 5pm.

Highly recommend! Best everything bagel I ve had in a while.

Love to stop here for breakfast on the way to work. Opens early and has a great selection of bagels. The have a points rewards system that gets you discounts and a free bagel on your birthday. Another bonus is they have Hazelnut coffee, which is my favorite!

Being a New Jersey native, its hard to impress me with out of state bagels, but Gib's is by far the best bagel I've had outside of my home town. If you want to know what a bagel place should feel and taste like, this is the place to go.

I get the N.Y.C. bagel, but every now and again they are out of capers. Quick service.

Excellent bagels but the staff consistently tries to charge me $1 for a splash of non-dairy milk in my coffee which seems ridiculous.

Great service and great food. It's our snack service almost everyday when we're next door for dance classes.
