Giant Food Review

The pharmacy customer service is so bad,the employees has unhappy face and unwelcome.
I have been told my prescription was out of stock and after stock they will call or text the following days. One weak passed and I called back to find out they put me on hold a million years. It's so sad to experience this kind of business!!!!

Nasty place to shop. Row on row of junk food, canned food, fresh vegetables and fruit are either too old or not ripe. Seafood is a joke. Surly, lazy staff too busy worrying about their next break. Checkout is a zoo. Avoid at all costs!!

There's free parking (with validation) in the garage across the street!

New giant that was built recently, full of products, area to eat and order beer

Nice, big, mostly clean, a little confusing to get used to the aisles, but that's pretty normal for a grocery store I think.

This is a great grocery store. The shelves are always well stocked especially, on the weekends. I can all ways find the weekly sales items.

New. Complimentary parking for 2 hours. Across from italian gelato. Managers are aggressive. Don't order pastries they are old. Starbucks around the corner and a newish resturant. The selection of goods in the Giant is enourmous. Good international food section. An area near a coffee come bar for alcohol is available to sit and watch TV. It's near the bathrooms. It sells some cooked foods and suchi good wines and a selection of cheese. Western Union. Grocery delivery service. Security, conversion of loose change to dollar bills, ATM. Newspapers. Helpful staff.

This Giant is located on. Block of condos/apartments and can thus be a bit crazy at times. (5-7) Otherwise it's a good store. Good produce is important to me and theirs is largely very good. Prices if you have a Giant card are also competitive. Recommended.

Customer service clerk was absolutely mean very negative energy the management team needs 2 reevaluate her...

It is just a very big supermarket. Huge space does not mean a good supermarket. Good layout, great offering, pleasant decor and atmosphere, good customer service is what makes a great supermarket, and this one does not have any of that. One thing it has is the decent wine selection.
What a waste of a wonderful historic O street market, one of four original markets in DC.

Big store, good self checkout, bakery isn't as good as Safeway's

Not bad, everything is quite complete, the price is moderate, and meals can be solved.

It's a major improvement on the old Giant. It is clean and well stocked on most visits. There are ample self checkout lines which makes the checkout process quicker than most trips to busy grocery stores in the city.

This is actually one of the cleanest and most well maintained grocery stores in the area. Every who works here is delightful and will actually help you if you need something.

Bad service. Employees don t know how their mobile scanners work. Had to wait at self checkout more than 15 minutes only start all over again.

Good selection, only one non-self-checkout lane open on a Friday at 8pm.

Clean and well-stocked. This location is fairly new, so it feels new and has new carts, wider aisles, and large areas for frozen food and produce. The one thing that I really don't like about this location is the layout. Some of the aisles form a sort of zig-zag, and the layout of products across the aisles seems quite different than most Giant stores that I have been to. Shopping here for the first time was very confusing.

Giant Food has always been a good grocery store for me. I am especially pleased with the meat and seafood departments. Always the freshest products.

Its to me a small giant compared to others and usually when I go alot of things are out of stock compared to other giants

Great fresh produce and vegetables the fact that you can enjoy a drink or beer and a meal in the store while sitting or shopping

I love the fact that this particular store is well stocked. And has a great wine selection. Also, have a excellent cut of meats.

Clean, decent grocery store in the Historic O Street Market building. Their produce is good both in quality and selection, and they have a large and interesting wine and beer corner but it's priced higher than a lot of local independent liquor stores.

Clean, huge and renovated Giant in Shaw. Open untill midnight so it's pretty convenient. They have everything you need in a decent price, no fancy stuff. My only complaint is that after six months shopping there I still have troubles locating the products I am looking for and I waste a lot of time walking through the aisles. I guess they could improve the distribution.

For a giant it's very nice but it's so big it can be overwhelming. The selection is very good and the staff are very nice. Prices are the same as other local grocery stores.
