What a fun place! Obviously amazing treats(our favorite is Land's End sundae!) but there is great food too. There are some restaurants that look sooo good. We didnt get to try the cheese shop, but we would come back just for that. Definitely worth the trip over to the coast if you're visiting San Francisco. Not too far to walk from downtown and let's you really explore the city. Cant wait to hlget back to Ghirardelli square to taste more of the fantastic flavors!

My favourite spot in the city. You can see the waters and enjoy your dessert. Beautiful during sunset.

Terrible staff but AMAZING chocolate although way over priced in my opinion.

It seemed very busy to me, but one of the staff said it was actually slow then. They certainly were moving fast to get orders out. Sherif smelled great in there too.

Not too many choices of restaurants, good if going for ice cream or chocolates

It is Saturday beautiful Sunny day. This place was very crowded and that's why I've cream sundae was not prepared as good as it should. My suggestion: try to avoid crowded day's.

This place offers so much selection of yummy sweet treats and plenty of souvenirs to choose from. You'll feel like your a kid again, just the scent alone makes you want to stick around forever. By just looking at the different items they have you know you'll have a memorable time enjoying eating it.

The place is very organized and staff are very attentive and friendly. Checking out is a breeze and place is observing social distancing, providing hand sanitizers in different location of the stores.

Chocolate. Chocolate. Chocolate. If you haven't tried it before. The next time you are in the area go get yourself a free sample.

Busy bustling place and handing out chocolate stamp. Gorgeous chocolates they make. Best part though was the dessert and Crissie Fields was simply superb

Amazing place with amazing chocolate and amazing energy. Being there is an experience in itself. Added incentive is the free chocolate sample while entering the door. The place is a must visit for chocolate lovers.

Very busy. Cookies are great and many people seemed to be enjoying their ice cream. The greeter was very kind and handing out free samples. The coffee was ok, and the lattes were basic. The one caramell latte had all of the caramel sauce at the bottom of the cup, and the plane lattes was not properly frothed. Good for sugar, bad for anything else.

Awful wait...I love the ice cream but definitely not worth the wait. Only one register open to take ice cream orders on fleet week Saturday night, really? Not motivated to buy their retail products because I see them while I m waiting and not motivated to come back!!

Best spot in SF for candy in bulk. Lots to choose from and every row gets better ! They had a huge parking lot

love the place but it is annoyingly crowded on weekends. When I went all the Grirardellis (there are quite a few in the area) were super duper crowded. Their stuff is good but not worth waiting in line to order for 20mins and than another 15-20minutes to wait for your order.

I love that the location of the store is so close to the water. Their ice cream shakes are good but on the expensive side.

Who does not like ice cream, especially when it has loads of chocolate and caramel? If that is your craving, this is the place to go. Because of the popularity, expect a long line. The price is outrageously expensive but the portion is large. At $24.94 for two servings, you be the judge. The service was really rushed.

A little disappointed that the hot chocolate was not hand made but instead came from a dispenser like at a gas station. The workers were less than friendly.

Quick service, convenient for those traveling through Fisherman's Wharf, but don't have time to walk up to the upper level/Market Place. It's Ghirardelli, so you already know the flavors and the food are going to be top notch. Put this on your list. The Marketplace too if you have the time.

Milk shake was awsome. Bring your own straw. Paper only.

There are a couple things I don t understand. Firstly, why does every person I ve seen working at Ghirardelli s seem incredibly sad/depressed/PO d? I ve noticed this across three locations, and it s always so odd! How can this happen?! The other issue is that the ice cream just isn t that good. Mine was grainy and not very tasty, and my friend mentioned the same about her flavor. I can t imagine buying the $40 sundae when the ice cream is so mediocre

It was a satisfying taste with modest sweetness ! It s a good idea to check in advance because it can be topped in various ways!

Cool, the lines for ice ream were ridiculously long, so we didnt get any. The young man handing out candy was real polite, nice kid. Lots to do there, be patient...long lines

Very rich, they give you free war chocolate at the door, and once inside, having tasted, and with the smell of chocolate, you always end up buying, great marketing strategy !!

Guess never ordered anything since there was a marathon so a lot of people. But I want to go back to explore more..
