The place is stuck in the 50's. Classic placr with variety in meals (chicken, pork, beef), but, the speciality of the place is, without doubt, pork. With rice, grave, bread or any side what you want. Attendant is very kind and nice. Just like 50's.

When you walk in and go to the counter the first thing you see is a microwave. Really? No one wants microwaved food.
I ordered a full rack of ribs to go (no microwaving needed) $34. I got home and found them to be super dry and over cooked. I will not be going back again.

I see them using the microwave alot, there is one tile of ceiling with obvious water damage. However, I also see that the grill is always smoking, the bathrooms have been keyed so as to prevent non-customers from entering and the food is as palletable as the employees appetite. I love this place.

I haven't been here in years. An old hole in the wall BBQ joint. I forgot they only take cash.

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich deluxe which came with fries and very good cole slaw.

Unfortunately the pork was dry and not much taste.

UPDATE: Dine-In is available and they now accept credit cards? Amazing?
This has to be my favorite BBQ joint. They finally offered sweet tea in 2016. They have been around since 1953. I like the chopped pork platter. Pecan pie is good, if you have room.

While not expecting much originally this has become a thing of cravings. Bbq pork sandwich with their homemade bbq sauce is fantastic. And then there's black eyed peas and homemade pies not to be missed. Great for breakfast too as their up anyway smoking that pork. Enjoy.

Very delicious, smoked bbq sandwiches! If you like Georgia Mustard BBQ you will really like the sauce. I had the chopped Pork sandwich...one of the best I've eaten in Florida. They are cash only, but not very expensive. I'd be a regular if I lived closer. Only downside was the sides were ok, not great that I had (fries, coleslaw).

This place is a landmark and local legend. Every time we are near we stop by. Excellent service, atmosphere is perfect, feels like I am back at home. Food is on point and all obviously home made. Pricing is incredible considering the portions served. Real barbecue done right. Plenty of bark in the chop and just the right snap on the skin of the ribs... need I say more!

The sliced beef (brisket?) was REALLY GOOD!! It was tender and juicy and the bark on it made it even better! The coleslaw was good. The fries however, seemed like they had been sitting around for a while. The server, I didn't get her name was very nice.

I just moved a mile away from this place and tried it out. OMG, the pulled pork sandwich was absolutely delicious when doused in their BBQ sauce. Their baked beans were absolutely fantastic. There's a couple of really good BBQ places in this area. Tom Jenkin's is on Federal just south of Davie Blvd on the east side of the road. I like the baked beans at Georgia Pig better. If you've never been there before, keep in mind that they don't accept debit or credit cards, so bring cash. Luckily I had cash on me.

We just recently tried this place. We were looking forward to trying this unique BBQ spot which was recommended by friends. The ribs that we ordered were not falling off the bone tender however they were dry and tough. I think the ribs need more than the "South Carolina Sauce" served with it to bring it up to par. Some palates may enjoy this type of BBQ but disappointing so not for me.
