Delicious barbeque and a warm friendly atmosphere makes The Georgia Pig a great place for lunch or dinner with friends and family.

Great ambiance, great service and prices are excellent. Plenty of parking available. Ribs were tough and dry however. Coleslaw and beans were on par with what you would expect I have had better but that's just my taste not necessarily a fault on their end. Due to the positive reviews from others it makes me wonder if I was here on an off day or should have been there earlier. I can't say I would go again but I am glad I tried it.

Food was some of the best bbq I've had in a long time

My husband and I were in the mood for some real BBQ. We googled places nearby and this is the one we ended up with. We were not impressed at all. The food is terrible and dry. It s not freshly prepared, just reheated. The ribs, beef, and chicken all sucked. And the BBQ sauce is not what we are used to. It s a weird mustard one. And there is no other option. Most places offer many different flavors. So if you don t like it, you re out of luck. The fries were also hard and bland. We will never go back and can add this to list of terrible places to eat.

What s not to love about this food... everything is delicious. The tea, the desserts and the bbq omg soooooo good! Super tentative very welcoming ambiance. No wonder they have been there so long!

Food is very good, pork with tons of flavor. We ordered spare ribs with cole slaw and fries, flavor on the ribs amazing but were a bit undercooked on the edges, cole slaw perfect and you cant go wrong with fries- overall 8.5 out of 10.
Pork sandwich was great, comes in a hamburger bun with chopped rib meat.
Service is ok.
They only take cash,m but they have an atm inside the dining room.

They don't have pulled pork. The sandwiches are literally microwaved to order.

Ribs are old. Chew for 2minutes on one bite. Fries is about 2 weeks old. Nasty. Cash only. Scared people will want there money back. Sandwich 25 percent.

The place is cozy. My boyfriend takes me there alot. The people are friendly and the food is good.

The best in town or the state. Great food, service was fast and with a smile, the pit was great it just felt like you were at a bbq with friends.

Georgia Pig is the gold standard of barbecue! I am not kidding, this is my "yardstick" and I constantly compare other barbecue to this because it is the BEST. I went to a famous Nashville TN barbecue joint called "Jack's" and they can't even hold a flame to you! Everything on the menu is amazing (Banana Pudding is the BOMB dot com) I generally dislike potato salad but it's so good at Georgia Pig it is the only potato salad I will ever eat. Mercy is the best server as well! <3

For all the people that put one star reviews and didn t explain why stop hating. This place is the best BBQ in south Florida

The Georgia Pig has the best Pork Sandwich that I have ever tried. The service is good. Make sure you bring CASH, and an empty stomach and you will leave happy!

The staff was very attentive and provided amazing customer service however, the food was very bland. I ordered a ribs and chicken meal to go and the flavor was very bland. The meat was dry, it lacked bbq sauce, and did not taste fresh. I did enjoy the coleslaw, bread, and the mash potatoes.

This place has been around for over 50 years and they know how to do BBQ. They have a smoker that has been used for so many years that it gives their meat a unique flavor. Highly recommend the pulled pork sandwhich.

OMG! The food was great, the service was quick and the price was better than all that. I was there for breakfast and was so stuffed I forgot to eat lunch. It is a quiet little nook that seems to have a lot of repeat customers.

Amber was awesome helping me put together a lunch picnic for 10 people. perfect way to show a customer how much they are appreciated .

This spot never disappoints. They serve good dishes for reasonable pricing, there are no long waits even when the spot is busy.

My last time. Got the special. Black eyed peas cooked to mush, wet rice, bottled gravy, undercooked fried chicken.

Customer service at this restaurant was incredible. The waitress and other staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, that was the only positive. Food was horrible. Brisket was so tough and lacked any flavor. The ribs were also pretty tough. Chicken was dry. There is only one BBQ sauce. It was ok, but not your typical sauce. It would have been better with normal BBQ sauce. Food is microwaved. Dinner bread, on the menu, ended up just being a hot dog bun. One plate had the top bun and the other plate had the bottom bun.

Awesome BBQ, a long standing tradition in East Broward. All the Staples one would expect, cooked hot and fresh. You can't go wrong here with anything on the menu. Well known for the pecan pie. A bonus is a great breakfast.

???WTH??! I most certainly did NOT previously review THE PIG!!!... and so wrong! Just like their politics, some Google Big Brother marketing manipulations going on here.... That being said, I eat here once a month. What's not to like with bacon cured and BBQ smoked onsite? Sometimes right in front of you as you eat. Freakin' delicious! Good coffee, decent portions, prices OK, clean, friendly service. A true 'Country Breakfast' joint with amazing BBQ lunches (I never ate dinner there). My ONLY criticism: pancakes in dire need of repair so minus 1/4 star, but that's just my opinion. 4.75 stars!!!!

Fries were burned[super crispy n dark not golden] BBQ sandwich was reheated in microwave, why????? Greens were good after I strained out alot of the excess water.

Pork sandwich was delicious! 1/4 chicken not delicious, dried out breast, couldn t cut with tiny plastic fork and knife. And soggiest, tasteless fries ever. Don t think we ll be repeat customers here. Very disappointed.

If pig were kosher, Jesus would've been eating these chopped pork sandwiches at the last supper.

Ordered Bbq ribs only, waited about 20 mins standing.when I arrived home desperate to try these based on the reviews I was so disappointed. Ribs were so hard to chew, not tender at all, had to throw them away.
Flavor?? Nothing at all, just imagine a piece of meat lightly burned with no flavor at all and hard to chew.
BBQ sauce?? What is this? It tasted and looked like a sour yellowish mustard.
Not recommended, I wont be visiting again, sorry.

They have really good BBQ, it is a mustard base so it s kinda nice if you want something different. The pulled/chopped pork is great. The fries are hearty. The fried chicken was also really good, overall a great place. Although, I would stay away from the country fried chicken.

This place may not look like much from the outside but the inside is really nice, I loved the decor and feel. The BBQ is also amazing.

BBQ was good and the sauces were great! Sides were OK. Cash only! But there is an ATM on site. Good overall. Decor was old school and all the pictures of the softball teams they sponsor every year on the wall. Very nice of them to give back to the community.

Certainly not going on my favorites list. Country style decor which means old and dingy. Needs a good hard refresh. As for the food, well, that wasn't to my liking either. Not what most people think of BBQ. It was dry meat with gravy on top. Can't recommend.

Not worth the one star food was lousy cash only portion was absolutely rediculous Price's were a joke kitchen help was mopping the floor with some smelly bleach while we were eating don't go if you want real BBQ try scrubbys or Sonny's I give Georgia pig a fat -10 yucccccccck
