Best pulled pork in Broward for decades. Cash only.

Service was fast. However I much rather have waited longer for better food. The meat (pork) was burnt beyond editable comprehension, and the BBQ sauce they have (in 50 years) was not even homemade.. It was runny and just ok. It was all served up on a flat mcdonalds bun.

Cozy little North Carolina style BBQ joint, the smoke is not as heavy as you would get in other places but tasty none the last and their breakfast is surprisingly one of their best options.

Driving through to Airport. Stopped for lubch. Smelled great! Ordered ribs and expected them to fall off the bone after all this place has been around 4eva. Nope, totally surprised and disappointed. Meat was chewy and dry. If it wasn't for the their homemade bbq sauce it would have been tasteless. Portion size good. Coleslaw great!

First time ever eating at this restaurant but I can guarantee it will not be my last. The food is amazing the service is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and will answer any questions you may have. Some of the best fried chicken I've ever had.

Awsome place....i had a succulent ribs platter with yummy fries, buttery piece of bread, and fresh coleslaw. It was great price for a big platter...wowzers. Great place overall !!

I've enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Georgia Pig for over 40 years. I always get the delux pork sandwich and like to pour the mild bbq sauce over the sandwich as I eat it. The sauce is very thin and soaks right in to the chopped port. It is just the best for me. The place opened in the mid fifty's and under the same family ownership until about a year ago; with no change in quality. The place is always packed at lunch time, so don't pay to much attention to anyone who gives a poor review. Any restaurant that has been in business in S Florida for over 60 years has to be doing something right; not to mention there is no real signage out front. And if you look around after sitting down, you will notice mostly locals and not many tourists. Incidentally, if you have room, try the pecan pie; its a classic.

Very old school BBQ joint that has been serving great Brunswick stew and your smoked pork varieties. Take home a slice of chocolate cream pie or eat it there if you have room. Cash only, but now they have an ATM.

Great BBQ. The baked bean were smokey, savory and not too sweet. The brisket was a little tough but the flavor was perfectly smoked. Going to try the pork next go around.

OMG! This is the best pulled pork sandwich I have ever eaten!!! Also, get their bacon for breakfast. Thick and tasty.

Great food and cozy environment. Pork delux is my go to for lunch and never fails to pleasure the taste buds

was not too thrilled with the bbq ribs. Had better ribs in the hole in the wall mom and pops places. Felt like the ribs were not cooked all the way and was very tough to eat. Was my first time there and didn't meet my expectation.

Great coleslaw. Ribs are so hard and they have no sauce but good smoke flavor. Good grilled bread. Nothing to brag about pulled pork. You are not missing anything if you haven't been here.

BBQ was ok. Dry out ribs but the beef was very good. Cole slaw was great.

This is a great place to eat, breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I have been eating here for 30 plus years.

I've always loved this place. The Georgia Pig. It's been around for a long time. I remember it when I was a wee little boy. The breakfast they serve is very good and reasonable on the price. The bbq is very delicious-( to die for). Well, maybe not that extreme, but,the point is- it's great..!

The food was terrific! I didn t care for the BBQ sauce personally but everything else was very good.

Same fantastic BBQ I've had here since I was a kid. They have been around since the early 50s and when you walk in you feel like you've gone back in time!

I just opened my new shop down the street from this place. I'm in HEAVEN!!! Literally the best bbq I've had in the area. My new favorite spot. Eat there at least 2 times a week.

Not thrilled with the Pig anymore. Years ago it was worth talking about bit not anymore. So sad.

A landmark for many years the Georgia Pig has recently changed ownership. The barbecue is not consistent. It's often Hit or Miss which is probably indicative a barbecue. You can always count on having great dessert. Their breakfast is also very good too. Keep in mind that they are closed on Sundays.

The food here is awesome and their prices are very reasonable. Their coleslaw is sweet but crispy... It has a near perfect balance of sweetness. The pulled pork sandwich was stuffed full of pork. Very good quality. Only thing to be aware of is they use a mustard - vinegar sauce. It was very tasty but if you don't like mustard you may want a sample first. The sweet tea was sweet with good flavor. The server was spectacular. She was very attentive and very personable. Remember to bring CASH. They do not accept credit or debit cards. They do have an ATM on site if needed. Can't wait to go back again soon.

The pork and beef sandwiches had great flavor however they were little bit fatty for me. The place has a home town feeling. Coleslaw was very good. I'm sure the rest of the menu is also good.

I tried this place already with a friend and I am obsessed since then. I loved the good atmosphere and delicious food and drinks. 5 stars from me.

Places been there for a long time just got breakfast there the ham was a ham steak not a piece of small meat it was huge I'd recommend it to everybody home style cooking

I love the food there. My only problem is that they don't take debit or credit cards. In this day and age most people don't carry cash. I would frequent them more often if they took other forms of payment. I've seen patron's come on and leave due to that fact. Owner and management should look into this. It's not a good business strategy to turn business away.

Go here on Friday for the dessert of the day Home Made Banana Pudding, it is super delicious! As a matter of fact, I'm going there today.

Great little place. Love the fried chicken special on Fridays! Never disappointed with our meals or the service. Glad new owners haven't changed what we have loved for years! 4 stars only due to having to bring cash every time because no debit/credit accepted, but the food is homestyle, fresh, and so good!

Nice being able to sit down, however I didn't taste the smoke as expected, also the sauce not as flavorful but overall cool little place.

Ordered breakfast . The hashbrowns were cold and tasted old. But the rest was good.

My favorite bbq place in South Florida. Perfect if you like brisket that isn't TOO smoked and they have vinegar/mustard sauce; not everywhere does around here. They also offer pecan pie for dessert.

Stew beef, sweet peas, 2 slice of toast. Instead of sliced tomatoes i got baked bbq beans, $10 was pretty good the 1 yr old baby was happy and went to sleep right after lunch. Thxu i enjoyed my 1st time will come back again

Always a pleasure seeing the original owners. Wayne and his wife we're in town for his birthday. And as usual waynewood pick up a rag and start cleaning. I can't see the foods as good as it was when Wayne was there. But I guess the guys doing okay. There's a lot of pride in that place proud of this guy owning it. He needs to watch the value of the customer and the quality of the food. Everything used to be cooked fresh. Don't try to pre cook everything because that loses the quality of the GA. . Next time I'm there I hope the sausage is better. Fresh is best.

Update on latest visit for lunch on August 7, 2016. Great lunch yesterday. Chopped Pork BBQ Sandwiches are the best. Add slaw and fries for $3.00. This is a great deal. Please see the pics.

Previous visit: I had a great breakfast today. I had no idea this was a breakfast joint. This is my first time there. Bacon is extra crispy. Love that. My server was awesome. I will be back next Saturday. Thanks for the great food and service.

Ribs tender but came with mustard barbeque sauce. Better if they offered choice.
