I needed a Windows 10 restore on my wife's laptop which had died. Genie did all the backup and updating needed. Plus, once home when we had a question about files the remote servicing function was invaluable because it cleared up the question right away. I had repairs done there in the past ans purchased a refurbished laptop a couple years ago. Very pleased with the Genie service.

Really helped us out in a bind. Cloned some hard drives. Service was flawless.

I have had two experiences with this company, both bad. The first, I took my laptop in to get the battery replaced. Fine enough. I had to keep calling to get into contact with them, because they would not contact me, and my laptop was there for longer than necessary. But when I finally received my laptop back, I noticed they had installed a program without my permission. The next time, they told me my computer was beyond repair and had too much external damage to repair. When I brought it to another shop, the shop quickly said that was not the case and fixed the issue I was having (an overloaded hard drive) quickly. This other shop also indicated the program they installed was spyware and nearly impossible to remove, requiring extensive workaround. If you value your privacy and actually want repairs instead of being pushed to buy new things, do NOT go here.

We have used Genie for many years and have always had a great experience. The prices are fair and repair time is minimal. They are very knowledgeable and take time out to explain what has happened to your computer and the best course of action to take.
