Usually I don t do reviews but this hotel is the most incredible hotel I ve ever been in my life. I wish I could give more reviews but the minimum amount is 5. But the service here is so nice, the hotel is very pretty and comfortable, and it s a pretty cool hotel ever I definitely recommend y all this hotel :)
Let me start off by saying the girl at the front desk Merari was very welcoming!! She made my stay easy and nice. She needs a raise!!!
Management and all is super friendly and attentive. Place stays clean 24/7 (seriously) and very accommodating. Awesome!
Instantly one of my favorite Hotels that I have ever had the pleasure of staying at and I practically live in hotels traveling for my job most of the year. Very clean and such a wonderful staff the Manager Sharon ( I think ) and her staff solved problem after problem for guests with the most wonderfully beautiful smiling faces every day with ease for the couple weeks I stayed there I felt like I was protected by the walls of my own home surrounded by friends and family regardless of the level of danger within the city around us Thank you for going above and beyond during one of the most stressful times of my life Portland Candlewood your friendly beautiful smiling faces got me thru it.

Airport and downtown are easily accessible. I love that the rooms had full kitchens. Nice gym and business center. Everything feels fresh.
Room cleaning is top notch and the rooms themselves are a home away from home feel with full size refrigerator and dish washer and large microwave. Staying awhile enjoy the free laundry service and exceptionally friendly staff that are awesome. Huge comfy beds and stores a plenty near by.
Sharon, Sammy, Jane & everyone I've met at the Candlewood Suites has been extremely welcoming when I come. They've been actively working on remodeling the facility & it is lovely.
What sets this place apart from your average hotel is that it is designed to be more homey for long stays. The rooms have a full size refrigerator, cookware, dishes, utensils, electric stove top, dishwasher, & a microwave. They offer free laundry facilities & a shuttle for local errands or airport.
If you would like to bbq, use a waffle iron, or other kitchen appliances, you can barrow one from the cabinets in the lobby. They also have family board games, sports equipment / balls, & a DVD selection.
They accept CLC cards. I can park my bobtail (semi tractor) in the lot or behind the facility

I love this hotel, I try to use it every time I travel to Portland. This is probably my 4th stay this year and I have never had any issues when staying. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, the facilities are always in good shape, and the room is always clean and comfortable. I love looking out at downtown at night, such a pretty sight. I will definitely be staying here again.
Very comfortable beds. I thought the room was so nice and updated and clean that i stayed on my way out of town as well. Plenty of well lit parking. FREE laundry and coffee/tea. There are lots of food choices in a fridge in the lobby to microwave or cook in your room if you dont want to leave. You can always walk across the street to Shari's.
