Trucks have to park on the street, walk up to the guard shack to check in, then check in at receiving, then walk back to your truck on the street, turn your CB on their channel, and wait for them to call you to get unloaded.
And I have never understood why warehouses charge to unload their products that they ordered.
The receivers are nice though unlike the guards

Called @ 4:15am...docked/dropped trailer...bob tailed back to street...lumpers called @ 5:30am for $150 to unload cat litter. Departed @ 5:45am. Things really get busy here after 5:30am. Local guys come in and out. Early appts seem best. Good luck
Arrived at 9:30am, and still waiting for delivery, did not finish yet now is 2:10pm, never come back, so slowly, this company ruined all my day, my load for today was canceled because of them

Small place, guard is never at front desk to check you in, takes hours to unload! Lumper is $100 plus $2 for check ! Just an unorganized area been here 3+ times. Must park on the street then check in at guard and office. Be prepared to park in a tight tight area. Docks are so tight drivers are always helping each other back in. They will bring paperwork to your truck once done unloading.

Very tight to park plus you have to park your truck on the street then you have to report to security and receiving department until then you wait until the call you ,appointment was at 5am done by 10 am, and be ready to pay their lumper very high , staff very friendly

Drivers, stay away from it. Better reject a load going to that place. This Food Warehouse is a total waist of your time. 16 pallets of dry freight takes forever to unload plus paid lumper of $250. This place is redicolus.

Need to show up early to find place to park on the street. Little room to maneuver in the lot. Extremely tight backing in. Very slow and often damage product and leave it for driver to deal with. High lumper fees.
Takes forever for merchandise to be delivered. I placed deli order Thursday and deposit balance before 11a.m for next day delivery but I got my stuff almost week later. This was second time they played with my order. I regret going back to them. My refrigerator is empty and they're killing my business. No more business with General Trading, your company will not put my business down no more.

Lunper 450 $ what a nonsense appt 6 am now 1400 still not unloaded. Workers here damaged cases on purpose I had Clorox load everything duble stack with air pillows. But when they're broke down pallets they do damage cases later put dmg on BOL's. This place is one big dump
I have been a customer for over 40 years and the treatment I have recently received was not only poor but disrespectful from customer service. I understand that the chaos lately has effected everyone but their( the company's) lack of communication and conduct have reflected poorly on the supposed business mannerisms expected from a company such as yours. I am very displeased. I had placed an order via the app a week ago and they failed to notify me that they had cancelled my order and then proceeded to tell me they were only working with highly valuable customers. Yet, we are monthly customers and have been for the past 40 years. I did not feel valued as small business owner.

8am appt. Checked in @ 7:30am, it is now 12:20pm. Trlr is empty. They are counting the product, as they break down the pallets. Won't sign STC on paperwork. Charged $400 to unload... Disappointed with their professionalism here. Detention is costing them more in revenue, than missing product...

No consideration for a Truck Driver's time. Docks extremely tight, very little room to maneuver. This Place Sucks !

Tight docks,6 hrs unloading,OTR drivers avoid, should be drop the trailer and go to parking lot policy and after you are unloaded hook the trailer and go, would be much easier for drivers to back in

Appt at 8am, check in at 7am, door by 845am. Ok ok things are looking up; maybe I'll get out of here at a decent time. Currently 1347. From what I can see one pallet is sitting at edge of trailer. Been like that for about 45 minutes. Why? Of course I come to this place and have my time for picking up load for home time jeopardized smh.

Absolutely horrible company and terrible business practice. They've been holding our order for over a week. They bs you around. When we asked why our delivery didn't come when they' said Apparently they couldn't find parking and so they left. My shelves are empty. They will never let you talk to a supervisor (clay) he doesn't return calls. When driver finally came a week later he wouldn't unload the merchandise which were paying for this. Requested my floor guys go outside and unload everything unless I wanted to pay for his ticket. And took everything back and left. A company that hangs up/yells at their customers is not one im interested in working with. I'd rather pay more and give it all to another competing company.

I delivered here today to the refrigerated side (off Broad Street).
The yard is very tight, I highly recommend sliding your tandems ALL the WAY FORWARD before entering.
A sight side maneuver can be achieved IF as you enter you stay VERY tight to the right side, nearest the trucks already in doors and swing hard around to line up to your door.
It IS VERY TIGHT.
The staff on the refrigerated receiving side were friendly and efficient. Angel unloaded my truck very fast, and was very helpful.
I was in and out, in less than 60 minutes, which is impressive for any food warehouse.
I would have no issue coming here again.
I have VERY LITTLE experience with the dry receiving side, other than to say, the guard seemed friendly enough. Parking on 16th Street sucks donkey balls.

It was fine most likely like other grocery will type warehouses where you have to wait to get unloaded because there's breakdown involved and then you have to wait for the receiver to check into product I was probably there 2 or 3 hours but you have to be patient it takes time

I got here at 0530, and still waiting for them to finish checking each & every box,, it's 1600 rite now by the way. I had to cancel a load I had schedule for today. Oh, and it's very tight here. Very hard to back up here into a dock door, and very hard pull out as well. No room to maneuver. And 350.00 lumper!!
