Very very impressive architectural works. Very nice tourist scene.
Egyptians have great foresight.
The place is a great historic place to spend time in
Wonderful effects. nice view
Not recommended to visit and the atmosphere is hot
In the name of God, God bless, God bless the beauty and magnificence of construction
Amazing place to visit especially the area by the sea. Very fascinating
Not very interesting place as there are rooms all very similar, indistinguishable and a little boring
The time was quiet and pleasant place. Currently, they are street vendors, pieces, concrete blocks, excavators, and winches ..... Currently, I do not advise anyone to visit this place, unfortunately, until the renewal, what is concluded !!
One of the most famous and very valuable historical relics of Islamic civilization, this fort became a strong fortress on the shores of the Mediterranean sea.
This fort is now a tourist attraction that must be visited if you are in Alexandria, Egypt. Because this fort can be a great photo spot.
A very beautiful place where you see the greatness of Islamic civilization, too, the Corniche, a wonderful view
Also boat tours inside the sea
Good but the water museum before the castle is better
It's well worth the visit to great seaside city not too far from Cairo. We first visited Cairo and saw the famous sites there, including the Pyramids. But my wife wanted to travel to a site in the Land of Goshen, where the Jews had lived during their enslavement before Moses led them in the Great Exodus to wander for 40 years in the Sinai desert before reaching the Promised Land in what is today known as Israel.
We happened to arrive at a Jewish synagogue in the desert-like plain to the south of Alexandria on a Jewish holy day when there were many Jewish pilgrims making a commemorative visit to an old synagogue located in the desert south of Alexandria. Because it was a time of military tensions between Egypt (and other Arab nations in the region) and Israel, as the Intifada was on-going, there were increased police forces on hand to prevent possible violence against the Jewish visitors to the old synagogue site. In fact, when we leave in our rental vehicle, the authorities assumed that we were Jewish visitors who had visited the old synagogue and proceeded to give us a full four-car police escort back to the city limits of Alexandria. With full siren blaring as we raced along at nearly 100 km/hour, our police escort mysteriously disappeared. We were left alone and free to explore the city on our own.
So we drove immediately to the seaside port to explore the Citadel of Qaitbay, among other of Alexandria's magnificent sights.
I like it but the pity on the entrance annoys people
The place is very nice but in the huge bumpers give up very stagnant water
You smell the history there. Go as early as you could to take some marvelous pictures.
A very excellent and wonderful place that improves the mood with his sweet companions
You just see the walls but this place worth to visit
Very good as touristic place
Good for children and adults, but many sellers are defective
Unfortunately, thanks to the tour operator, we could not visit the observation deck of the fortress-fort. From the side it looks impressive.
There are row boats that will take you out into the surf to see the citadel and bay to the left of the citadel.
The place is beautiful and the view is a masterpiece and a choise for kids
Very interesting place to visit from a historical perspective
You will have a fun day there knowing more about this historical place
Nice, clean but no real explanations. They could provide a better presentation of they put their mind to it.
The landscape and the spiritual comfort will be thrown out there
I love the place very much, but it remained expensive for the Egyptians
The beautiful castle Oy and the reception of the security and receptionists excellent and especially thanks to all those who do the cleaning work
Great historical place with great view for the sea and the city and if you want to rent a boat discuss the price
Very beautiful, and I stayed at night before the castle, where a little Hua, Mchovch uniforms in all of Egypt
It is an archeological place that holds the fragility of ancient Alexandria and surrounds sea water from three directions
One of the most beautiful tourist places in Alexandria, which deserves to visit and experience was the treatment of the old uncivilized form of prejudices offended the overall shape of her, but now has become a truly honorable tourist destination for the city of Alexandria.
A place where the greatness of Egypt is purely shown
Good place to appreciate the view of the city of Alexandria , historical site and preserved throughout the years .
A great place to spend a beautiful day of the castle and a tour of the boat and the museum of sea creatures and the aquarium
Must see if you re in Alexandria, you can also sit by the water drinking tea in the evening by the citadel
A beautiful historical castle for fans of history, monuments and heritage .. Its location is distinguished by the sea.
Next to it distinctive restaurants for fish. And some stalls to sell antiques.
A boat cruise can be done after completing the tour of the castle.
A historic castle is beautiful .. I recommend to visit
The truth is a very beautiful place
And Alexandria is all beautiful
The place remained a monster and the text of the sea and the beggars were filled with a great deal of strength in the place
Great fish restaurant with wonderful views of the bay. Fish was beautifully fresh and tasty
An ancient and charming place where the charm of the ancient heritage place and the magical beauty of nature are mixed .. You are not bored of visiting this place many times and you will find the same pleasure every time
The castle is very beautiful as a tourist and archaeological shrine and it is necessary to visit it because it is an icon of Alexandria and one of the most important landmarks of Alexandria
Tickets increased by 20 Egyptian pounds, 60 for tourists and 5 pounds for students
The castle next to the first costume after the restoration, but a beautiful welcome in the eyes of the tourist guide
The castle means the memories of every Scandinavian Egyptian wai
The most beautiful tourist and archaeological places in Alexandria
While the view from the castle is beautiful, there is not much to do. Rooms are completely empty.
The place is very beautiful and it is possible to wear some traditional costumes and photography with it, and you can visit the Fish Museum and also acquire some sea souvenirs. On foot or on a tour of Hantour
The symbol of Alexandria. It is built on place of ancient lighthouse
