When we reached Citadle of Qaitby. it was still not open. Some miscommunication due to language barrier. Could not wait.
As we were alredy there took photos, admired the location and the architecture of the citadle. Wish we could have seen it when it was open.
Any way very much liked what we saw so I have given it four stars.

It should be a historical place where ppl visit and enjoy but sadly the place is full of low class locals showing yhr worst habits of the Egyptian street. Also, the place is very dirty .. garbage all over the streets!!!!

It's a nice historical piece of art with great Mediterranean view. But the place is empty, you end up staring at empty walls with not many educational signs. All other castles that I been to have been used as museums or have exhibitions. Also, unfortunately some rooms are being used as bathrooms by the visitors and they stink with urine.

Awesome Citadel. This place is beautiful and has amazing views of the library and city. Lots of neat history. Lots of stairs that are uneven, so may be hard for some to climb inside. This is a must see and on top of my list for places to see. Vendors outside can be a bit pushy.
